Chapter 3 I love him so much mother

On my way back to the party ground hoping to find Myles there, so that he could take me back home, I wasn't so surprised to meet an empty party ground, with little or no one in sight, they all must have gone to somewhere private to give eachother their goodbye gifts. I walked into the school premises and through the library, which had another back door to the main road, hoping to find a taxi that could just take me home from there, if I don't find Myles, but I was greeted with a more annoying scene, a scene worse than the slap.

Myles, was beside the the library toilet, kissing Ariana aggressively and almost tearing off their clothes.

"Myles! I shouted almost in tears. they both came to a stop, while she tries to straighten her dress, that didn't need too much work before it goes up again.

What are you doing? I demanded to know and he looked angrily at me.

"What are you doing here Kiara? He asked instead of answering me, he started pushing me away.

"Are you really asking me that? She broke your heart, she cheated on you, and you are here, almost making out with her? I didn't care if she was the most popular girl in the school, and I don't care if she would be angry with me. I don't need her friendship. I just couldn't believe it, and he didn't even have the explanation I needed, instead he scratched his head then she walked up to where I stood with him.

"Kiara, you are only a girl my guy is helping, you don't have to act like his mother, allow him make his own decisions. What are you doing here anyways, shouldn't you with Jason, doing what we are doing? why are you really here? She too was asking. I gave her a disgusted look for in her tone holds a sarcasm that almost brought tears to my eye. I was expecting Myles to stand up for me, to tell her not to speak to me in that manner, but he was hiding, behind, while his lips, was urging me to leave. I saw that it was pointless having that discussion with him, so I nodded and told him, that I was leaving, and that was when he looked shocked.

"But why? He asked.

" Jason slapped me and I broke up with him". I replied simply, as I have no plans to say more than that.

"Oh my gosh, how dare he slap you? Are you okay? He touched my cheek and I let a tear drop. I wanted to tell him everything, but he didn't look like he wanted me around, he wanted to be left alone so that he could go back to what he was doing.

"Can you drop me off? I asked, and he looked back at Ariana, who was looking angry already. He was about to ask her to come with us, but she angrily, walked away. "I will be waiting at the counter". She says. Somehow I felt happy that he chose me, he didn't look angry about her walking away, he was more interested in my welfare.

As soon as Ariana was gone, I wanted to tell him he was making a mistake, going back with Ariana, but I guess it was not a good time, I will have to tell him that, another time. Even if he isn't going to see me the way I want him to see me, I will not sit back and watch him get himself hurt.

"Jason must be high on something to hit a woman! He was clearly angry, he walked back to the pool side with me, because I told him he was there, I didn't know he was going to get physical with him. I thought he was just going to warn him, but I was shocked that when he got there, he didn't ask him any question, he just punched him on the face, sending him straight into the pool.

This is the first and last time you lay your hands on a woman, especially Kiara! He warned and grabbed my hand, while we walked back together. We got to his car, and he opened the passengers seat for me, he made sure I was already inside the car, before he went to the other side and got in, he drove angrily away, that I started feeling bad that he was sad. Maybe I shouldn't have told him anything, I should have just kept it. He drove me straight to my house, He was fuming with anger, until I alighted from his car, and we stood outside my house for a while.

"Are you going to be okay? He asked and I nodded like a baby. The way he was looking at me, I know he cares for me, but I wish he could just tell me what I feel his eyes is saying.

"Thank you Myles, for standing up for me again, I don't know what I would have done without you and I really do not know how far I would have gone in the school, if you weren't there. I am glad we are done, with school, but our lives continue, and you will always remain the best thing that has ever happened to me". I said and he opened his arms wide to have me in his embrace.

"You don't have to thank me Kiki dear". He called me fondly, then he raised my jaw, so that I look at him, raising my hopes, to think that what I have been dreaming of is about to happen. I parted my lips, encouraging him to do it, and he locked his lips, swallowed hard, showing off his Adams apple, which added to seducing me the more.

You shouldn't thank me. You are that sister I never had, and I am that brother you never had. If I don't look after you, who will? He asked, then he chuckled, before moving away from me.

My heart broke, the other part left, became so heavy that my eyes couldn't hold on anymore, I closed my lips and my tears dropped freely.

Please don't cry. I promise I will make sure Jason pays for ever making you cry". I wiped my tears for he still doesn't get it, he thinks I am crying because of Jason, he thinks I feel anything for Jason? I didn't want him to hurt Jason the more, so I shook my head.

"Please I am not crying because of Jason, so please, do nothing to him". I begged him, but he wanted to know why I was crying.

"Then why are you crying? He asked again. Should I tell him? Is this the right time for me to tell him how I feel? I contemplated within myself, but the way he had stared at me when I told him I care for him more than I care about Jason, I didn't like that look, and I don't want him giving me such look again, so I changed the topic.

"I don't want Ariana to hurt you again, so please, do not go back to her". He smiles shaking his head.

"Don't tell me you are crying because you think Ariana would hurt me? I nodded my head, telling him that is the reason I am crying, then he came back to me and held my shoulders

"Don't worry little sister, she isn't going to hurt me, and I am not counting so much on her again, because all I want to do right now, is have fun with her. She is waiting for me, so I will see you tomorrow or do you want me to sing you a lullaby? He joked and I hit his chest, he blew me a kiss and ran back to his car. I stood there until his car was out of sight, then I slowly opened the door, so as not to wake my mother up, but she was standing by the window, she have been watching us all through.

"I thought you were going to tell him tonight? She stepped out of the darkness, while I nodded as to say no, but the way she was looking at me, she knows that I was about to break down, I ran into her arms and she gathered me in her arms, consoling me.

"I love him so much mother". I cried.

"I know dear". She says, sqweezing my arms, in a bit to console me.
