Chapter 2 I am sorry Jason, but i never loved you

The party was going so well, with just the three of us together. I refused going anywhere private with Jason, because I didn't want Myles to be alone, but he didn't care about all the effort I put in to keeping him company, because as soon as Ariana Steve walked in with the hottest dress, showing off her shiny thighs, her hair was down, and she kept flipping it every other minute, I noticed she had her eye contact done, to match with her violet dress. If she is to bend down, whatever is left of her modesty would be out in the open.

I thought Myles wouldn't care about whatever she was showing, but it wasn't just him that was taken by her appearance, every other person in the room, who didn't know they had issues, started looking at Myles admiringly, as the one dating such a beauty.

I thought she was going to walk past us, I was already holding Myles encouragingly, but she walked straight to him and kissed him on the cheek. Then again, I thought he would push her away and embarrass her, show her that he isn't a puppet, she cannot cheat and just come back to him with a kiss on the cheek, things doesn't work that way, but just as always, he shocked me, he looked into her eyes with so much love, the way he had never looked at me before, even Jason thought he was insane to accept her back.

"Are you okay man? He asked, as soon as he noticed that Myles is about to go with her.

"I will be back, I know what I am doing". He replied, and got up. I couldn't take it, I got up and pulled him by the hand, while Ariana walked away and stood miles away from us, with her hands akimbo.

"Are you really going to go with her? I thought you said she cheated on you? I asked, searching his eyes in the colored light and trying to read his lips due to the music.

"I want to hear her explain, I should hear her out". He says and walked away with her, even before I could argue further. She smiles at me, then she flipped her hair, when he got to her, she held him by the hand and swinging her hips to each side, showing off her curves to every person in the room. I shook my head in disbelief, I just could not believe he just walked away with the same person that made him sad and he almost shed a tear for. I wanted to go with him to see what she was going to do to him, but Jason stood behind him and placed his hands on my waist, then he whispered into my ears.

"Now we can leave here to somewhere more private. He is with the woman of his dreams, I am with the woman of my dreams, you can stop worrying about him. He isn't a baby". He says and I nodded.

He is right, I really should stop worrying about him, he doesn't care about me, I shouldn't care too. I followed Jason out of the party ground to the pool side, and though there were so many persons there, kissing and almost making out, I didn't feel I should do that with him too.

He noticed I wasn't looking at him, I was so lost in my thought, and very much angry with him, so he pulled my jaw, so that I am looking at him.

"You know this is the last day we have in this school right? He asked and I nodded unsure of where he was going with the story.

So I was thinking, we could make this last day memorable. What do you think? He asked and I still could not tell what he meant by that, so I asked.

"And how do you propose we do that? He smiles, before showing me around with his hand.

"Look around you, everyone is having fun, they know how it is going to be from henceforth, we may not see much of eachother again, as we might be going to different states and cities for our higher education, they are trying to make this night a memorable one for eachother, that is what I want too". Now I know what he is talking about. I looked around me and saw couples caressing and kissing, and maybe Myles and Ariana are doing the same thing, but I could never feel that way with Jason, his hands have no effect on me. I remember hearing from my mother, how she felt when my father kissed her for the first time, she told me it was magical, but Jason have kissed me before and I felt nothing. He is fond of holding my waist, and yet, I feel no electric, no chemistry, no passion. Maybe I should think less of Myles and more of Jason, maybe it would work, after all, Myles is having fun with Ariana as we speak and he doesn't care how I feel. I decided to try, and see Jason the way I think he sees me. I lock eyes with him and slowly, brought my face close to kiss him. After a while, We started kissing, exchanging saliva, while he inserts his tongue inside my mouth, licking my upper and lower lip, as though his life depends on it. I was trying so hard to enjoy everything, but all I could feel was irritation, I suddenly felt nauseated, I couldn't take the saliva anymore, I got up, trying to go throw up somewhere far from the pool side, but he got up to stop me and I threw up all over him.

"Oh my goodness, I am so sorry". I apologized as I didn't mean to throw up on him, which was why I got up, but he had to follow me to stop me from walking away. I thought he was going to be as understanding and sweet as he has always acted, but when those around started laughing at him, he got furious and even slapped me on the cheek.

"How dare you throw up on me, are you insane? He yelled, which shocked me. I looked around me and no one to fight for me, I was all alone, Myles is probably pants down with Ariana as we speak, so it was solely up to me to speak up for myself.

"I am sorry Jason, I didn't intentionally throw up on you, but slapping me, was so over doing it". Everyone around started lashing at him, saying he was wrong for slapping his girlfriend for throwing up on him, then he tries apologizing.

"I am sorry...... He tries to say, but I stopped him with my hands raised.

"No you don't have to apologize. You said I should make this night, our last night a memorable one, and that is what I plan to do.

I am sorry, but the truth is that, I never loved you. I only accepted to date you, because Myles said I should, with the hope that I would fall inlove with you, but I have tried, but it isn't working, so, as this night is the last night here, I think I should tell you the truth, so you move on with your life. I don't feel anything with you or for you, and I will only be deceiving you, if I stick around, so this is it.

Goodbye Jason". I said and walked away, while he stood watching me, while the onlookers were busy cheering as if we just shot a movie scene well.
