Lexa dialed her mother's line for the umpteenth time but it still wasn't going through,

" Mom is not taking my calls! " Lexa panicked.

Evelyn glanced towards her direction and dialed Mona's line with her own phone but it still wasn't going through.

" Well maybe she is asleep, this is night for God's sake!" Evelyn retorted bluntly.

" I don't care, something must have happened to her! " Lexa retorted as she put on her jacket, hurriedly.

" Don't tell me that you're going out this late to look for her?! " Evelyn shrieked, surprised.

Lexa nodded and was about to go when her phone rang, she quickly picked up seeing that it was Benedict.

📱" Lex..! Your mom has been kidnapped!" Benedict worried voice emerged from the phone.

" What?! " Lexa shrieked as she felt her whole world came crumbling down.

📱" I only wanted to pay her a visit but when I got there couldn't find her... only some traces of blood.... " Benedict voice became hoarse and shaky.

The phone slipped and crashed down to the floor, Lexa staggered and also fell down on the floor.

Evelyn quickly ran to where Lexa was and knelt down on the floor.

" What happened..? " Lexa asked, worriedly.

" My mom...she has been kidnapped! Oh God! " Lexa sobbed, heavily.

" It could be Darius who took her away but how did he know..? " Evelyn mumbled.

" Come on don't cry, we will take this case to the cops tomorrow morning " Evelyn retorted calmly.

" No! I don't want tomorrow! I wanna look for mom this night, he should take me instead and leave my mom alone!!" Lexa sobbed and quickly ran outside.

" Lexa no! You can't go outside! " Evelyn shrieked and quickly ran after her.

Soon, Lexa and Evelyn got to Mona's house, Lexa threw the door open as she searched everywhere but couldn't find Mona.

" Mom!?! Mom?! Please don't leave me!! " Lexa sobbed.

Evelyn glanced around the small looking house and frowned.

The place was so cold and felt kinda empty, it felt like someone wasn't even living in this house.

"Ugh.. Lexa..? Are you sure your mom has been living here? The place is just too cold and lonely " Evelyn mumbled, seriously.

Lexa ignored her as she continued sobbing.

Evelyn thought of how Benedict had called Lexa and broke the news to her.

But how did he know?? Well if he comes back, she's going to question him.

Lexa suddenly felt an unusual feeling and goosebumps popped out of her skin.

" Lexa... something doesn't seem right here, I think we should go " Evelyn uttered, fearfully and turned towards the door.

Lexa paused too when she felt a cold chill ran down her spine, She stood up and went outside but they both froze when they saw a figure leaning against the wall, they couldn't see the face of the figure due to how dark the place was.

Evelyn quickly pulled Lexa towards her car,

" Get in fast! " Evelyn screamed fearfully. She got in and Lexa got in she tried starting the car but it refused.

" Be fast please! It's coming towards my direction!! " Lexa screamed, fearfully.

Evelyn tried but the car refused to start, suddenly the car door threw open on its own.

" Christ!! " Evelyn shrieked in fear. She turned to Lexa's direction but couldn't find her there anymore.

Evelyn gasped and tried to run away but fear gripped her when she saw a dark figure standing in front of her, it had a black hoodie on.

" No!...who are...you?! " Evelyn retorted, fearfully.

The figure stretched its hand forward and touched Evelyn's head, she tried to move but couldn't, it felt like a heavy force was holding her down. The figure raised its head up and her heart skipped when she saw the face, it was a young man.

He was looking so cute like an angel! It felt like he just fell down straight from heaven!!

His eyes changed from black to red and he vanished with her.....

The rain began to pour heavily, Lexa glanced around her surrounding as she sobbed fearfully, How did she got there?

" Where is Evelyn?! Oh no... Evelyn could she be...? " Lexa thought worriedly.

Everywhere was dark, lonely and rainy, the cloud cried bitterly releasing heavy droplets

of rain. The cloud rumbles, thunder strikes loudly

Lexa was looking so wretched and fearful, she glanced at a particular direction and saw him... he was ambling towards her slowly, his long black jacket was sweeping the wet floor. She

sprang up from the ground and began to run, she was heavily drenched as the rain poured

madly on her but she cared not, she was running away from him... yes him, Lucifer himself.

He has finally found her, she was tired of running because she has been running and hiding for years but now that he has already seen her, what's the essence of running?

No! She wants to still run, if he gets his

hands on her then she's dead! She knows the grave sin she committed....

A sin in which, the whole world would never forgive her when they find out that it was her all along....

She clenched her teeth, painfully when a thorn pieced under her foot, since she was bare footed.

A sharp and painful sob escaped her throat, suddenly her head hit the wall... no it wasn't a wall but a man's hard and heavily built chest.

She fearfully took a step back, she slipped and crash down to the floor, she trembled when she saw the man's face, the king of hell.... Lucifer.

Darius Martinez also known as Lucifer is standing before her, how can she get away from him?
