Chapter 5 An assassin

"Seriously aunt Rita, you picked Damien Quinn as my teacher" Jess was anxious, walking from one end of the office to another, "what's wrong with Damien" aunt Rita asked, "everything, that jerk called me a gold digger, and you picked him as my teacher, you just ruined my life" she was being paranoid, "come on Jess,you already got revenge for him calling you a gold digger, besides I picked Damien because he's the best and you deserve to learn from the best" aunt Rita reassured her and she sighed, "fine, I respect your decision aunt, because for some reason you're always right" she replied and au

nt Rita smiled. "Now go arrange your office, you know you have to resume tomorrow" aunt Rita told her and she nodded.

Asami sat on the CEO's desk going through all the report of work for the past few days, she was so tired of readings she decided to rest a bit, she put her cheek on her hand as she dose off.

"You're weak Asami, you would never be an assassin if you keep up like that" dark eagle kept yelling at Asami as she kept punching the bag, "I don't want to be like you" she yelled, "you have to, if you want to see your sister ever again" he replied her and she turned back to punching the bag, "when will I see my sister" she asked as she punched harder, "when you become strong, as strong as me" he said and she nodded. "am coming Jess, wait for me" she punched even harder, while dark eagle smiled.

"Miss Collins" Asami was awakened by her personal assistant, "Miss Collins, we need your statement for the report now" he said and Asami hissed, "seriously call me Asami and also am not a machine don't expect the report today" she was really frustrated, "I thought you wanted to build tomorrow's machine" he asked with concern and she looked up at him, "I want to build machines not sit in office" she complained and he smiled, "I need to show you something" he walks out while she followed behind him, they went all the way down to the basement, "this better be worth it" she glared at him for making her use the stairs instead of the elevator wile he smiled at her, "it's worth it " he replied.

They entered the basement and it was pitch black, she was getting frightened, "it so dark in here" her voice was trembling, "are you scare of the dark" he asked and she shook her head. "am not scared" she said trying to stop shaking but her voice still trembled. He took her hand in his and she was surprised, "what's that" she asked, "it okay to be afraid sometimes" he voiced and she kept quiet, hee smiled in the darkness and continued leading her, they finally got to a door, and he input the pass code, the door open and they entered in. "Wow, what is this place" she asked, "your mom always worked here, she also hated sitting in the office reading books, so she created this place and spent a lot of time here" he said still holding her hand, she looked down, "you can let go now" she voiced and he quickly let go, "of course" he smiled nervously, "cute" she said in a whisper. "Did you say something", he asked asked and she shook her head. "No, I didn't say anything, did you hear something" she asked him instead and he shook his head. "Pffft" she breath of relieve, while he just smiled. She kept walking round "this is really amazing, I can spend a life time here" see said and he chuckled, "your mom literally spent a lifetime here" he said as she turned to him, "she's not my real mom", "why does it matter, she trained you, didn't she" he replied and Asami nodded. "I guess so" she shrugged and continued going through the basement. She stumbled across a portrait with her and Mrs Collins, "You looked like an angel in there" he pointed to the portrait and she chuckled as she drifted into a world of her past.

After training for months, Asami.was finally ready for her first mission, dark eagle had sent her to kill a man, as she journeyed, she wondered if she was going to do it, she reached the man's mansion and snook in with all the skills dark eagle taught her, she reached the man and faced him, "who let you into my house" the man was furious. "Dark eagle sent me to kill you" was the only thing she says d and the man laughed. "Is this a joke" he signaled one of his men to hold her down but she was too quick, they couldn't hold her. It was finally dawn in him that this little girl could really be sent by dark eagle he started to shake, "what are you doing, kill her" he yelled as he ran away, Asami heard as he said kill her and all the men brought out their guns, "they're really going to kill me" her mind was swirling, she dodged all the bullets just as dark eagle had taught her as she raced towards the door, she met the man who had ordered them to kill her, "you should be dead" he yelled and it pained her, "people like you shouldn't be alive" she brought out her gun, "how can you kill a little girl" she was fuming in anger but the man just laughed ad he brought out his own gun, "I've worked with guns a lot, I know when it you're first time" the man said as he pointed his gun to her head, "you can't shoot, but I can" he released the trigger and she quickly dodged. "Just because It's my first does mean I can't do it, I hate lunatic like you" she pulled the trigger thinking he was going to dodge and she could run during that time but he didn't, the bullet shot though his head and he fell. "Oh my God" she ran close to him and witness blood coming out his head, she also heard sound of the other men coming and she quickly escaped.

"I killed a man, I killed a man" tears flowed front her eyes, "am a monster, I killed a human" she was really scared just then she walked into a valley where a man was trying to rob a woman, she walked past them but found herself coming back. "Leave her alone"" she told the man not he laughed, "little girl, you must have watched a lot of films, now listen, this is real life so walk pass like it none of your business" the man said and she rolled her eyes, "you guys never listen do you?" She kicked the knife out of the man's hand and looked at me, "still got something to say" she asked as he stood transfixed there. The man quickly took to his heel and as she turned to go the woman hugged her. "You saved me, my angel" the woman said as she hugged her more tightly while Asami cried, she wished she was an angel, "am no angel, am a monster" she corrected the woman who shook her head, "to me, you're an angel".

"Asami, Asami" he shouted and she finally woke up, "what's it David" she asked calling his name for the first time as she was worried since he shouted but he shook his head, "nothing, just you were crying" he pointed to her cheek and she finally noticed the tears, "it's nothing, I just missed my mom" she lied and he nodded. "She's in a good place Asami, cheer up" he tried to pat her head but she held his hands, "am fine David" she said.
