Chapter 6
This incident was unbelievable, but it indeed happened.
After absorbing octopus genes, I noticed a significant boost in my intelligence.
However, the voice in my head never appeared again.
After returning home, I checked my body and found only a small wound on my calf.
It didn't hurt or itch, and if you didn't look closely, you wouldn't even see it.
I frowned and touched my chest.
Three hearts?
I didn't feel anything.
I also turned my head to look at my arm. As my thoughts shifted, several invisible arms appeared behind me.
Even to me, they appeared semi-transparent.
I counted them-exactly eight.
The scene was quite bizarre. These eight arms varied in length for better functionality.
But I wasn't scared at all; in fact, I was thrilled.
With these eight arms, whether I was handling tasks or debating online, everything would be much faster!
In just an instant, a flood of thoughts raced through my mind.
I hadn't realized I had thought so much already.
About two seconds later, I took out my phone, redownloaded Twitter, and posted a tweet.
Izabella: [@Blaine, hello, Best Actor. Please stop being a coward. Even if we were only together for three months, it was still real. Stop leaving me to face all the insults alone, or I will expose our photos.]
After doing this, I ignored the rapidly increasing comments and turned off my phone.
I headed to the company.
Melody, with her scheming ways, didn't deserve to be my assistant.
I had to fire her.
