Chapter 6: Raymond's Revenge
Raymond's POV
I, Raymond, couldn't believe what I had seen last night. Winnie and James, together? It was a betrayal, a slap in the face. I had thought we were friends, that we had a connection. But I was wrong.
As I sat in my dark apartment, nursing a hangover, I couldn't help but feel a burning anger towards them. How could they do this to me? Didn't they know how I felt about Winnie?
I knew I had to take action, to make them pay for what they had done. And so, I started to plot my revenge.
First, I would ruin their reputation. I would spread rumors, tell lies, and make sure no one wanted to work with them again.
Next, I would sabotage their relationships. I would drive a wedge between them and their friends, make them feel isolated and alone.
And finally, I would take what was rightfully mine. I would win Winnie back, and make her regret ever leaving me.
Is this LOVE or what?
Is Raymond this desperate to have Winnie?
Meanwhile, Winnie and James are enjoying their brunch, unaware of the storm that is brewing. But little do they know, their happiness is about to be short-lived.
As they finish their meal and prepare to leave, they are confronted by a group of reporters, all asking questions about their relationship and the drama that unfolded at the party.
Winnie and James are taken aback, unsure of how to handle the situation. But then, James takes charge, his eyes flashing with anger.
"Leave us alone," he growls, his voice low and menacing. "We have nothing to say to you."
The reporters persist, but James stands his ground, his arms wrapped protectively around Winnie. Finally, they back off, and Winnie and James are able to leave, their heads held high.
But the drama is far from over. As they walk out of the restaurant, they are confronted by Raymond himself, his eyes blazing with anger.
"You think you can just walk away from me?" he snarls, his voice low and menacing. "You think you can just ignore me?"
Winnie and James exchange a nervous glance, unsure of what to do next. But then, James steps forward, his eyes flashing with anger.
"Leave us alone, Raymond," he growls. "We don't want anything to do with you."
Raymond's face twists with rage, and for a moment, it seems like he might attack. But then, he seems to calm down, a cold smile spreading across his face.
"Fine," he says, his voice dripping with malice. "But this isn't over. Not by a long shot."
And with that, he turns and walks away, leaving Winnie and James feeling shaken and uneasy. They know that Raymond is a man scorned, and they have no idea what he is capable of.
As Winnie and James walked away from the confrontation with Raymond, they couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. They knew that Raymond was a man scorned, and they had no idea what he was capable of.
"I don't like this," Winnie said, her voice barely above a whisper. "He's going to try and hurt us, James."
James put his arm around her, pulling her close. "Don't worry, I'll protect you," he said, his voice firm. "We'll get through this together."
But as they walked, they couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched. They kept looking over their shoulders, expecting to see Raymond lurking in the shadows.
Finally, they arrived at their car, parked on the side of the road. But as they approached, they saw that the tires had been slashed, and the windshield had been smashed.
"Oh my god," Winnie gasped, her hand flying to her mouth. "He's done it again."
James's face darkened with anger. "That's it, I've had enough," he said, his voice low and menacing. "I'm going to put a stop to this once and for all."
And with that, he pulled out his phone and dialed a number, his eyes blazing with determination.
James dialed the number of his friend, Alex, a private investigator. "Alex, I need your help," James said, his voice urgent. "Raymond's gone too far this time. He's vandalized our car, and I'm worried he'll do something worse next."
Alex listened intently, then said, "I'll take care of it, James. I'll put a tail on Raymond and make sure he doesn't get near you or Winnie again."
James nodded, feeling a sense of relief. "Thanks, Alex. I owe you one."
Meanwhile, at the office, Winnie and James's coworkers were starting to notice the tension between them and Raymond. "What's going on?" their colleague, Sarah, asked, her eyes wide with curiosity. "You three are always at each other's throats."
Winnie sighed, her eyes rolling. "It's just Raymond being his usual drama-filled self," she said, her voice dismissive.
But Sarah looked unconvinced. "I don't know, guys. This seems like more than just drama. This seems serious."
James nodded, his eyes grave. "You have no idea, Sarah. Raymond's gone too far this time. We're dealing with a whole new level of crazy.
As the days went by, the tension between Winnie, James, and Raymond only intensified. Raymond's behavior became increasingly erratic, and his coworkers started to notice.
"Have you seen the way he's been acting lately?" Sarah asked Winnie and James in the break room. "He's always yelling at someone or storming around the office. It's like he's lost his grip on reality."
Winnie nodded, her eyes concerned. "I know, it's like he's unraveling before our eyes."
James shook his head. "And it's not just his behavior. He's starting to make mistakes in his work, too. I'm worried he's going to get himself fired."
But Raymond's behavior didn't improve, and soon he was in a heated argument with their boss, Mr. Smith.
"Raymond, what's going on with you?" Mr. Smith asked, his voice firm but concerned. "You're not performing well, and your attitude is unacceptable. What's going on?"
Raymond's face turned red with anger. "It's all their fault!" he shouted, pointing at Winnie and James. "They're conspiring against me! They're trying to ruin my career!"
Mr. Smith sighed, his expression unimpressed. "Raymond, that's enough. I need to see improvement from you, starting now. Or else."
Raymond's face fell, but he didn't back down. "Fine," he spat, "I'll show them. I'll show all of you."
He stormed out of the office, leaving Winnie, James, and Mr. Smith in an uncomfortable silence.
"Well, that was...enlightening," Mr. Smith said finally, his voice dry. "I think we need to keep an eye on Raymond. He's clearly unstable."
Winnie and James nodded in agreement, their eyes locked on each other with concern.
But little did they know, Raymond's tantrum was only the beginning. He had a plan, and it was going to make their lives a living hell.
As they left the office that evening, Winnie and James couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched. And then, they saw him - Raymond, lurking in the shadows, his eyes fixed on them with a sinister grin.
Winnie and James quickened their pace, their hearts racing with fear. They could feel Raymond's eyes on them, boring into their skin.
"What do we do?" Winnie whispered, her voice trembling.
James pulled her close, his arm wrapping around her protectively. "We'll get through this," he said, his voice firm. "We'll go to the police, file a restraining order..."
But before he could finish, Raymond stepped out of the shadows, his eyes blazing with anger.
"You think a piece of paper can stop me?" he sneered, his voice dripping with venom. "I'll show you what real power looks like."
And with that, he lunged at them, his fists flying. Winnie and James tried to defend themselves, but Raymond was too strong, too relentless.
Just when it seemed like all was lost, a figure appeared out of nowhere, tackling Raymond to the ground.
It was Alex, the private investigator James had hired. "You're not going to hurt anyone else, Raymond," he growled, his eyes blazing with determination.
As Alex pinned Raymond to the ground, Winnie and James finally felt a sense of relief wash over them. It was over. Finally, they were safe.
But as they turned to thank Alex, they saw something that made their blood run cold.
Raymond's eyes had locked onto something behind them, a sinister grin spreading across his face.
"Look out!" Alex yelled, but it was too late.
A car came speeding around the corner, heading straight for them. Winnie and James froze, paralyzed with fear.
And then, everything went black.
