Chapter 2 SAVING AMELIA

Kendrick went back with Beryl to join their friends.

Kendrick has Beryl as his best friend, and both of them have two common close friends: Zhaogu and Haitao.

They are all CEOs of their respective companies in different industries, and they always have each other's backs.

Kendrick often remains inconspicuous among the group. He places a lower emphasis on socializing, opting instead to spend his time in his office, fully dedicated to developing new projects.

Kendrick, holding a glass of wine, appears disinterested in his friends' conversation. His attention has been on the girl he just met. He keeps glancing around, hoping to see her.

"Hey, Kendrick! Kendrick!" Beryl called his attention. "Yo! Bro, you look lost, man! What are you thinking that you couldn't even hear me?!"

"What is it?"

"I was asking if you will attend the charity auction tomorrow," Beryl said. "I remember they will showcase antiques that your grandmother loves to collect, along with some exquisite jewels."

"I am not sure. But probably not."

"Hey, come on, bro! My sister is really eager to go, and she mentioned that her best friend is interested in checking out the jewelry for the auction."

Kendrick's interest was piqued, and his heart skipped a beat upon hearing about Nerissa's best friend again from Beryl,

"Why are they interested in it?"

"I've heard that Amelia is a skilled jewelry designer, although I don't have more information about her work."

"I see."

"So, can you go with me?"

"Let's meet at the auction," Kendrick responded as he once again looked around.

His friends are drinking while he, on the other hand, has never been interested in drinking.

Kendrick saw Nerissa dancing on the dance floor but didn't find Amelia with her.

He decided to walk over to where he met her to see what she was up to, but he was surprised not to see her. Realizing Amelia wasn't in the room, he decided to look for her.

Kendrick checked the bar and eventually strode towards the restroom entrance. Just as he got closer, he saw Amelia coming out of the restroom unsteadily. A man pulled her and led her to a hallway as she tried to resist.

Kendrick strode towards them, punching the man, pulling Amelia out from him, and carrying her.

He grabbed his phone and called, "Alu, prepare the car now!"

Looking at Amelia in his arms, he knew that she was drugged. She is all flushed, and her temperature is high.

When Kendrick went out, the car was already at the entrance. Alu was dumbfounded when he saw his boss with a woman in his arms.

"What are you waiting for?! Get moving!" Kendrick yelled.

Alu rushed back to the driver's seat.

"Where to, Sir?"

"My nearest house!" Kendrick commanded.

Indeed, Amelia was drugged. She started to encircle her arms around Kendrick and kissed his face and neck, which startled Kendrick.

Kendrick has never been in a relationship before. This moment is his first time holding a woman, and the situation is making him restless.

Alu was even more stunned looking at his boss struggling with the woman with him; not knowing what to do, he raised the partition to give his boss privacy.

Kendrick was even petrified when Amelia sat on his lap facing him, with both legs spread across his crotch while trying to unbutton his trousers.

Kendrick tried to hold on to Amelia's hand to stop her. With her hands both in Kendrick's hand, Amelia started to grind on him and kissed him recklessly.

"Amelia, Amelia, stop it."

"I need you. Please." Amelia retorted and continued her pursuit.

"Amelia, no!"

"Pleeease... I need you; I want you!" Amelia begs.

"Amelia, do you know who I am?"

"Of course I know, you are Kendrick," Amelia said with pouty lips, and hearing his name from her lips was too alluring for Kendrick.

Looking directly at Amelia's face, only now Kendrick realizes Amelia is mixed race.

The car stopped, and Kendrick immediately opened the door. He carried Amelia into the house and laid her on his bed.

"I will call the doctor. Stay here." But Amelia won't let go of him, clinging on to him.

"I only need you! I don't need a doctor!"

"No, Amelia, please."

"Then call the driver. He is handsome! He will help me! Or brother Beryl!" she cried. "They won't say no to me!"

"Amelia!" Hearing her mention other men made him so mad, and this was his last straw.

"Don't regret this, Amelia!"

Kedrick tugged his tie, removed his coat, and laid Amelia under him.

Amelia wrapped her arms and legs around him, causing him to lose control completely.

Kendrick wrapped Amelia in his arms and started kissing her, which made Amelia move wilder, rush, and recklessly. She unbuttoned Kendrick's clothes and threw her clothes on the floor.

Looking at Amelia's naked body captivated Kendrick.

He wanted to memorize every inch of her; he kissed her lips softly despite Amelia's persistence, moving to her neck and bosom, kissing each one while caressing the other with his hand, down to her navel.

"Please, give it to me now...!" Amelia cried.

Kendrick held Amelia close, his eyes filled with concern as he gazed at her. "Amelia, you're under the influence of drugs. I'm concerned that you might regret this tomorrow."

"No... please... please... Kendrick."

Amelia initiated to kiss Kendrick hurriedly while arching her body to his.

Kendrick responded to her kisses, finally entering her body. His emotions for Amelia overflowed as he was stunned to learn it was her first time. Kendrick made a solemn vow: 'She is the one I've longed for, and I promise to cherish and protect her for the rest of my life.'
