Chapter 5 Love At First Sight.

LUNA

"The fuck" I screamed and sat up, turning my face away for him to covered himself up, he grabs his clothes from his closet and wear them fast before facing me.

"You can turn now" He said.

"I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to scare you that way, and I didn't see anything, I swear it." I said, unable to continue as his face met with mine.

"Can you tell me what you're doing here in the first place?" He asks, his eyes not leaving me.

"I.... I....." I stammers.

"You're what Luna?" Travis says.

"I had a dream again, I was so scared that I rushed here without thinking." I lied.

"Thought you were scared of sharing the same room with me. The last time I checked, you only see me as fucker? You shouldn't have come here." His voice obviously showing sarcasm.

I felt angry after he said that, what is really wrong with him? I mean is this even the Travis I use to know?

"I'm sorry, I'll take my leave now." I got up and started walking out, hoping he would call me back but he never did.

I held his door knob but find it hard to twist it open. I can't return to that room! Not now?

Not when the rain is still pouring so freaking much and I'm still scared as hell.

Without hesitation, I turn and he looks at me.

"Got something more to say?" He cross his arms like some boss will do with their workers.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way. I just thought you won't be able to control your urges around me." I said.

"Around you?" Travis laugh and I raised my eyebrows.

"Are you kidding me? I've never seen you as a girl, and I never will. You don't even have all it's takes for me to be interested in you? You're not my type of girl at all" He said stressing on the word 'TYPE'

He didn't stop laughing.

I had to admit, those words hit harder than being hit with a rock on the head. He's never seen me as a girl? Am I that unattractive? I don't have what it's take a look at me?

Is it because I'm flat or he's just teasing me?

"So, can I spend the night here?" I found my voice at last.

Travis went silent for a moment and then he nod.

"Thanks." I said,and he gave me a short smile.

He entered his bathroom, probably to change into something more comfy.

I climbed into his bed. I laid down and soon fell asleep, feeling more comfortable than I ever had before.

When I woke up the next morning, I found Travis already awake and making breakfast as I step into the kitchen.

He looked over at me and smile.

"Good morning, sleepyhead" He say.

I opened the fridge before turning to him.

"Morning, thanks for last night" I drank some water while swiping my disarranged hair backward.

Travis look at me and chuckle shortly which made me raise my brows.

"What?"

"You know, you're really not a very attractive person." Travis said with a cruel smirk on his face.

"What?" I say, feeling hurt by his words.

"You heard me. You're not pretty and no guy would ever look at you, not to talk of being with you." He add his smirk growing wider.

"That's not true!" I exclaim, my voice raising in pitch.

"You're just trying to make me feel bad about myself!" I scoffs, and took one of the burger he was making and starts munching on it.

"You're right, I am. Even the way you dress is not girly at all, you really need to make some changes little kid. That explains why you're single" He laughs, his smirk morphing into a full-blown grin.

"This is not your first time teasing me, so I'm not moved. Try again tomorrow Travis motherfucking Bills." I stick out my tongue at him and roll my eyes.

He suddenly move close to me and I freeze, he wipes the corner of my mouth with his thumb and I blink twice.

"What was that for?" I push him back lightly

"Was trying to remove this!" He shows me a stand of my hair that he probably removed from the corner of my mouth.

I took it from him then tossed it away.

"I guess no one has ever done this for you before. You're not getting younger Luna. You're clocking 17 soon baby girl." Travis says, going back to his former position to continue to prepare breakfast.

I just scoff.

"Any plans for today?" he asks me.

"I'm visiting the town library" I reply with a smile.

"Didn't you went there yesterday? Why are you suddenly interested in visiting the place? Do you have your eye on someone there?" Travis scoffs.

That's when I remember Kyle. I don't know why I'm smiling.

"Yeah, right. Stop interrogating me. I have to get ready" I say and walk out of the kitchen.

I head to the bathroom to change out of my pajamas. I put on my jeans, a pink shirt, and a brown jacket.

I quickly brush my hair, apply a little makeup, check myself out in the mirror and leave the bathroom. I can hear Travis talking to someone in the kitchen.

I'm not curious to know who he's speaking with. I'm so sure it's one of girlfriend, he probably wanna invite them over since I'm going out

I twisted the door knob and see Tiffany standing there. She's holding a cup of coffee in one hand and a bag of pastries in the other.

"What Is she doing here? Did they made up already?" I ask myself.

I'm not surprised though. Can Travis even let go of Tiffany big back side and mighty boobs of hers.

Tiffany is s typical of someone who has an hourglass body figure. She's a tall girl with attractive blue eyes, she's not too slim or neither fat.

Her small waist and round boot just make sense. That explains why she's more popular in school especially around guys,and being Travis girl.

They became the most popular power couple in school!

I hate to admit I'm jealous of her body.

Tiffany pushed past me, entering the house with a haughty expression on her face.

She was dressed in a revealing outfit that showed off her figure, and she seemed to be radiating an air of superiority.

"I should have known, Travis will never break up with Tiffany" I thought within myself.

She places the coffee and pastries on the dinner table, and turn to look at me.

"What are you still doing here?" She asks her voice dripping with disdain. "Don't you have somewhere to be?"

I was taken aback by her rudeness, and I felt a wave of anger wash over me. I tried to remain calm, but it was hard.

Nevertheless, I don't want her trouble.

I didn't reply her and just leave the house.

I get to the library and found a seat, then I picked out a book that I hadn't read from the small shelves, since I couldn't reach the ones that were higher up.

I began reading quietly, getting lost in the story.

After a while,I became aware of someone sitting across from me. I looked up, curious to see who it was.

"Hey Luna" Kyle wave at me with a smile on his face.

I was surprised to see it's him,and a bit happy he really kept his promise.

"Hi" I reply and continue reading the book I got.

"I didn't know you'll really come back here" He says, but I kept on reading as if I didn't hear him.

"Is it because of me?" he asks,bringing his face closer to mine. I shifted my face backward,trying to put some distance between us.

"Is it?" he continued.

"The first time I saw you at the library was yesterday, and you don't look like the type of person who would visit the library often."

"Fine, I'll admit it. I came because of you. Are you happy now?" I cut him off,unable to keep my secret any longer.

Did I really just say that? I must be going crazy. I regretted saying it the moment the words left my mouth.

Kyle made it worse by returning with a wide grin,he even winked at me.

I tried to keep a straight face,but I couldn't help but smile back.

I felt my cheeks grow warm, and I looked away, hoping he wouldn't notice my blush.

I had never been so attracted to a guy before, and I had just met him the day before.

Call it love at first sight or whatever but I felt like I was falling head over heels for this nerdy, adorable guy.
