Chapter 2 Almost Fall.

LUNA

The next morning, I woke up to see my phone ringing. I grab it and swipe green at once.

"What's up, Ash" I said with a smile.

"Missing you here baby bitch, wanna meet up at the town library for catch up and have fun" Ashley asked.

"Sure" I smile.

"Don't be late, or I'll rip off your tiny tongue. Just kidding! Can't wait to see you" Ashley laughed and hang up.

I smiled as I drop my phone, It's feels great to hear from them after weeks of breaks.

They just made my day with thier request, I was too bored to stay in this house all day anyway.

Travis left so early in the morning and probably to hang out with one of his sluts, again!

I got dressed wearing one my favorite jeans and a pink tank top rocking it with our friendship and shoes I got with Ashley and Molly last christmas.

I wanted to look nice but not too fancy. I grabbed my bag and headed out the door.

When I arrived at the library,I saw Ashley and Molly sitting at a table,reading a book together.

They looked up when they saw me and smiled.

"Hey there!" Ashley said, standing up to give me a cute tight hug.

"We're so glad you could make it!" Molly give me a quick peck on the cheek.

"Thanks for inviting me" I said, smiling back at them. "It's nice to get out of that house for a while"

"Are you trying to say you're not enjoying Travis company?" Ashley grinned.

"Not at all, he's a pain in the butt" I said and sat down.

They both gave me a knowing look.

"He's kind I know, but I still miss my parents more, he's not always around and only return home late. We barely talk like before and I must say, I can't wait for our summer break to be over" sighed.

"I can wait, even if it's took the whole year,after resuming you know what's next for us" Molly pouted.

"Fucking exams period!" They both chorus and I laughs.

"Girls, you're really funny. Don't you want us to get all this over done with soon, and get accepted into out dream college, Ronnie & Dons, for me I can't wait!" I said dreamingly.

"Is Travis perhaps planning to attend the same college R&D? I mean Ronnie and Dons?" Ashley ask with expectations in her eyes.

I nodded.

"Yh, I think I'm stuck with him for good" I added.

I knew she had this big crush on Travis, ever since 9th grade. Only I and Molly knew about it.

Ashley patted my shoulder and smiled. She got up.

"I'll get us some more books" She walk away smiling.

"She still has a crush on him?" I asked Molly to be sure.

"You snapped quickly, she's obviously crazy over that playboy friend of yours. Don't let her convinced you into setting her up with him, Travis doesn't even know she existed" Molly said with an eye roll.

I went mute and turn to see Ashley coming with some books, can I really say no to her?

"Here, I got this famous one for you and this one is for you since you won't finish it anyway" Ashley gave a kid story book to Molly who grinned.

"I've read Pride and Prejudice" I said returning the book to Ashley.

"Last summer, remember" I added.

"Right, sorry I'll get you another one" Ashley stood but I quickly grab her hand.

"It's okay, I love to read again" I smiled putting it in my bag.

We all sat down and started chatting about our lives and what we'd been up to. It felt good to catch up with them and talk about things other than the scary movie.

"Less I forget, I created an anonymous account last night. Guess the name" Molly suddenly said.

"I haven't check our class group chats in weeks, I wouldn't know" I replied.

"You're missing a lot baby!" Molly shook her head.

"Wait a minute, you're catch_her_young056, omg!" Ashely gasp.

"The same one! One and only!" Molly nodded and flaunt her hair.

"What does that mean?" I ask feeling lost.

"This bitch exposed Reagan sleeping with Jason at the basketball court a week before summer break, she posted it last night and I'm sure everyone is talking about it now, in short Reagan and Gab break up" Ashley explain.

"What!" My eyes widened.

"Don't even tell me it's unfair, that bitch is always picking on you for wearing a long skirt and I can't just sit still, I hate how she bullied you" Molly replied.

I couldn't say more,

"Thanks Molly" i hugged her.

She brought out her phone and show me, we laugh our ass out reading the comments.

AN HOUR LATER

"By the way, do you know that dude" Molly pointed at a direction and I and Ashley turned.

"No" We both answered.

"He wouldn't stop staring Luna, I think you got yourself a crush" Molly squealed.

"Love at first sight, whao" Ashley joined in.

"Stop, why would he be staring at me? I don't even know him" I laugh it off.

"It doesn't matter, he fell for your charm. You're too beautiful Luna. Sometimes I wonder if Travis is even a guy" Molly said and Ashley frowned.

I signalled at Molly and she fell quite.

"Ahem Luna, how about a sleepover at your house next weekend" Ashley said.

"My house? Why?" I ask.

"It's fine if you don't want to, I just thought we could bond more" Ashely bit her lips.

I look at her pitifully, It's obvious she's trying to get close to Travis, Molly mouthed me to say no.

"I'll talk to Travis about it and get back to you" I said without thinking.

Ashley face instantly brighten, she held my hand and kissed it.

"Thank you so much" She smiled.

I nodded and Molly sneered...

"You're coming too right?" I ask Molly.

She nodded.

We continue reading, Ashley and I mostly talked about Pride and Prejudice since we've both read it leaving Molly out.

She doesn't seem to care. She prefer being on the phone with her boyfriend Lance.

I must say I really enjoyed my time with them. I just realized how much I've missed them, and I just wish this day won't come to an end.

It was getting late, Ashely was the first to get a call from her home to return him, Molly was next.

They are neighbors so their families are close, making them more close bond but they never leave me out in anything before.

Even if I'm always with Travis, we've been friends since I and Travis got admitted to our highschool.

"We really have to go baby bitch, I'm sorry" Ashely said packing her stuffs.

"It's okay" I smiled.

"You can get home alone right?" Molly asked.

I nodded.

We exchange hugs and I waved as they leave the library.

I sat alone to read for more twenty minutes and pack my stuffs too.

I made to returned one of the books I borrowed to the shelves but my jaw drop when I saw how high the shelves are.

I was supper short and there's no way I'm gonna reach there. Ashley probably got it easily cos she had a tall figure.

I sighed and a found a stool, I took a deep breath and climbed it, forcing the book between the other books.

After fitting it in properly, I made to come down but I tripped expecting to fell on the hard floor heavily but I landed on a someone's arms.

My eyes widened as I sniffed his insanely most nicest cologne.

"You shouldn't get bruises on your perfect skin" His deep voice said.
