Chapter 7 Bullying Angela Donald

After writing for a while, Diana finally paused and a cold smile settled on her lips. She picked up her phone and dialed a number before dropping it back, After a brief discussion, she then continued with her work.

If Diana wanted to take action against Angela, it might be a little difficult because people would then believe Angela's story about Diana bullying her, so it was best to leave it to someone else and let nature take its course.

Angela secretly smirked seeing the murmurs against Diana increase, knowing the extent that fans could go. She was pretty much sure that after this people might start to boycott William's enterprise products and, no matter how strong the company was, if there was no buyer, it would surely fall along with Diana.

Before Angela could continue on with her pitiful act, she suddenly heard her own voice which confused her.

With curiosity, Angela turned back to see the scene of the engagement party playing boldly on the screen.

The fans who were yelling their support for Angela went quiet as all of them watched the video with keen interest, and as for those streaming the event online, they stopped typing to concentrate on the video.

Angela was nervous when the video came to an end as she immediately squeezed the hem of her dress, wondering how the video managed to get out, even though her guts told her it was Diana.

"What a bitch?!" A fan exclaimed, making tears gather in Angela's eyes as she tried to hold it in and then, as a result, her whole eyes became red.

"Yeah, I can't believe she would go after someone because of a damn dress. I mean it was Angela's engagement, wasn't it? It is only natural that she wanted to look the best." Another fan chipped in.

Angela was at first surprised that her fans still supported her, which meant that Diana's plan to humiliate her did not work.

Fans that streamed the event on the internet sided with Angela too. As she watched the comments move up on the screen, the smile in her heart increased.

Diana picked up her phone to see that the opinion against her doubled, which made her smirk. There was a product that Willams enterprise was releasing in few days, so why not use this as a promotion avenue.

Before Diana could drop her phone and go back to her work, her mother, Donna, called her.

Seeing the call, Diana could roughly guess what it was about as she sighed before picking up.

"Diane, what's the news all about, did you really bully Angela Donald?" Her mother's worried voice sounded through the phone.

"No mother." Diana replied simply, rubbing her temples.

"Are you sure? If you didn't, why is she claiming that you did?" Donna's angry voice asked once more. She was not angry at Diana but at Angela, because she knew her daughter more than anyone. If she said that she didn't do it, then she didn't.

"It's her business why she decided to pick a fight but don't do anything," Diana said as she knew that her mother could take action in her anger.

"Are you just going to watch her put the blame on you for a crime you did not commit?" Donna asked stunned, she could not believe that her daughter would be this gentle against one that was trying to make her name bad.

"Honey, just relax." Damon coaxed in a cool voice, trying to calm his wife who was fuming with anger, down.

He took the phone from her hands before speaking, "I will take care of your mother while you take care of things quickly, don't let it affect the company image." Damon said in a stern voice dropping his playful aura, "Noted." Diana replied simply before cutting the call, she was not ready for her mother to collect the phone once more and start nagging her all over again.

"You old man!" Donna yelled, hitting her husband on the head but making sure it was not too hard enough to hurt him.

"You did not think I was old yesterday." Damon said with a wink, making Donna's face flush as she looked at everywhere else but the man she married.

"You are so shameless." She said in a low voice, "How can you do that to our daughter, you only care about the company." Donna added, raising her hands to continue hitting Damon after her embarrassment died down.

"Can't you trust your daughter, woman? I'm sure that she has a plan now. Let's focus on us, okay?" Damon replied and pulled Donna's wrist, causing her to fall on him and sit on his lap, "Women like you should only worry about skincare and make-up. Don't worry about a child that is as big as Diane, I'm pretty sure she can handle things by herself." He added in a comforting tone making Donna relax in his arms finally at ease.

Diana pressed the button on her desk and not long after, a knock was heard on her door.

"Come in." Diana said, looking at the files in her hand with a frown on her face, "What is my schedule for tomorrow?" Diana asked, flipping through the paper with her frown growing to be deeper than before.

"Ma'am you have to attend the launch dinner of the new film you invested in, it's about to be released." The secretary informed her and Diana's hands paused.

If she could remember correctly, the movie was the one Angela was doing all so pitiful at the promotional event, making Diana's eyes grow even colder, "Get me the number of the director immediately." Diana ordered, when it came to business she did business and would not allow personal conflicts come between it, "And also take back this trash called a proposal." Diana flung the file that she had been looking through just now at the feet of the secretary who picked it up immediately before going outside as she did not want to be a victim of Diana's anger.
