Chapter 7 7. Steadefast Divorce

Chapter 7. Steadfast Divorce

"Ms. Diandra, what are you doing! If you want to throw away the clothes, why don't you let me wear them?!"

Devina yelled, her voice shrill and filling the room as I smiled sarcastically at her.

"Why, don't you feel disgusted wearing the clothes that I wore before I had a love affair with Mas Bima?" I asked deliberately heating up the shameless woman.

"Ms. Diandra!"

"Diandra!"

Mas Bima and Devina said my name simultaneously, perhaps they thought I was very impolite. I folded my arms across my chest. Yikes!

"You guys are so compact. Even the religious court hasn't decided that we're really divorced this month, but you're already living under the same roof? Are you cohabiting?"

My question managed to make both of them furious.

Just as I was about to speak again, the twins' voices interrupted me from my room, making me ignore the two ignorant creatures and enter my room.

I burst into tears while hugging the twins, after locking the door first.

So blind was Mas Bima's heart that even on the day we met after two weeks of not seeing each other, he couldn't even ask about the twins' whereabouts and preferred to side with the woman who had left him three years ago.

I cried while hugging the twins, strangely they both woke up, at the same time making me inconvenienced and forced to breastfeed both of them to make them calm.

The door to the nursery was banged on and I ignored it, sure Mas Bima was probably upset.

"Diandra! Open the door!"

The man ordered, but I was engrossed in tears that felt wrenching in the soul, still clearly visible images when Devina wore lingerie that I was very proud of. I had thought that I was able to win my husband's heart, especially when I dressed sexy in our bed.

In fact, I was wrong, my 3 years of sacrifice as a wife and mother of his children turned out to be unable to attract Mas Bima's feelings, my love was unrequited, the love that I built with sincerity was in fact unable to make Mas Bima love me too.

Ya Allah, this unrequited love is really painful.

After a dozen minutes, Mas Bima finally opened the door, and behind him was Devina, the man was quite surprised when he saw me who was breastfeeding our two children, and my tears flooded my cheeks, maybe they also flooded with the skin care I used.

"Rafka! Rifki!"

The man said, looking so bright when he saw his two children.

Our children were only a year and a half old, so when they saw their father they already recognized the man and both of them let go of the pu-ting and spread their arms as if asking to be hugged by their father who had not seen them for two weeks.

I squinted when I saw Mas Bima looking so happy hugging his twin sons, while behind him was Devina who looked annoyed.

"Devina, please leave this room!" I ordered in a hoarse voice.

"Mas!" Devina said, looking at Mas Bima, as if she was asking to be defended.

"Are you leaving this room or am I leaving this room?!" I asked defiantly.

With Mas Bima's code face, the man seemed to tell Devina to get out of the room, until the woman stomped her feet and left the room, even before closing the door Devina deliberately slammed the door as if to emphasize that she was angry with the father of my children.

Mas Bima smiled while kissing the twins, looking so happy.

"We've been married for three years, Mas. We even have a cute baby like this, but it was not able to make you adrift for me. You even gave up and let my palace be ransacked by Devina," I said, but the man didn't seem to listen or care what I said.

He was engrossed in kissing our son.

I was like a congealed goat in front of him and my protests fell on deaf ears.

"How could you Mas. Our household must be destroyed just like that, without any great conflict or great debate between us. You've made our children a broken home," I said in a hoarse voice, hoping he would think that his actions were fatal in the future for our son.

"I will still be a good father to the twins," he said firmly. As if what he was doing was the right thing to do. Where was his instinct?

"So you're still determined to get a divorce?" I asked. Not expecting much.

"Yes!" She replied.

"Do you already know?" I asked.

"The important thing is that you just sign our divorce papers! For Mr. and Mrs., let me be the skinny one. Let Devina do the talking for you. As for Mama, let me do the talking," the man said.

"And I have to keep quiet, is that it?" I asked sarcastically.

"I don't love you and our marriage was forced! So I hope you know yourself," he managed to silence me.

Watch out Mas! I'm not going to let anything happen that easily!

Even if it does, I won't let you and Devina go through it so easily!
