Chapter 2 Yes Alpha

Chapter 2:

Our Alpha Lucien is old for his role. Normally by his age the heir has taken over but our Alpha only met our Luna Zia when he was 38 and Luna had difficulties getting pregnant .

Finally though she had her pup and the pack had a future .. little Alpha Caon named after his great ancestor Lycaon one of the first known werewolves.

Alpha Caon is now 20 years old and he has been a great leader , he just needs to find his Luna .

He's a pure blood , and pure bloods as they get closer to coming of age 18 can start becoming unhinged and territorial, so far he has kept his wolf in check and hasn't started giving in to the madness .

We have pures and turned we take in turned if a member of our pack caused it which hardly ever happens or if neighbouring packs can't take in the ones they've accidentally turned which again never really happens in our region.

Every now and again we take in rogues if they have not been rogues for too long ,you can tell because they still have their pack smell to them and they usually stop at the boarder to request entry, it may mean they chose to leave due to mates taking chosen over them and they can't stay in the pack with them or abuse of power from elders or loss of family from raids from other packs trying to claim territory or rogues , we report abuse to the king and they send out the enforcers to rein in anyone who abuses anything whether that's their power or their pack members.

Due to this we have a massive pack and we've created a village so no one has to leave pack grounds for anything. No one outside of our pack other then the King knows how many members we have to us, and that's the way we like it .

Alpha Caon With Cain his beta by his side are loved by all and showing strength , courage , integrity and respect in their respective positions. He has taken over the pack with guidance from Alpha Lucien for the last 2 years and 11 months , he has this last month to go and he will turn 21 and his father can retire in peace with his mum like they deserve .

This is the rule we follow ;

from the age of 18 until 21 the previous Alpha will be in the background supporting their heir it allows him to be Alpha but has the support of the former leader in matters that may need previous experience with dealing or getting up to speed with accounts and business dealings they have in the pack.

POV Alpha Caon

"Alpha , our new guests are 5 minutes out, driving a black Bentley " - my boarder patrol officer Kayden mind-links me .

"Thank you Kayden , once they arrive please can you escort them to the pack house . I will meet them there , make sure your post is covered while you're gone."

I am not looking forward to this next lot of visitors , the Blood moon pack has sent their Alphas son to be trained , as much as he's showing potential as a leader he's a shit bag with women apparently I'm trying not to cast judgement on someone I've never met but it's hard when you hear so many stories .. not waiting for his true mate and fucking any woman who will have him will cause him trouble later on if he is actually doing what the rumours say .. I know not my circus , not my monkeys but it's frowned upon to disrespect your future mate by giving away what is hers .

A lot of men tend to not wait but hope their mates are virgins , they want their mates to be pure for them but they can't keep their own dick in their pants . A notice has gone out to our people to let them know we have these guests arriving and that the Alpha-to-be is unmated. I hope my people have read between the lines. I could have been more direct but the youth also have access to these notices and don't want them reading about such things too young.

"Breathe in , breathe out !" I say to myself . I need to calm my emotions .

"Alpha , the guests are on their way to the pack house now" - Kayden mind-linked.

"Thank you Kayden ." - I said back , leaving my office and the paperwork to greet our guests .

"Cain , they're here meet me at the pack house and mind-link Kai and let him know to meet us there too"- I said to my beta.

"All ready done bro , one step ahead "- Cain replied , I could hear the grin he had on his face from being one move ahead of me . Cheeky shit! Luckily he's a good beta and my best friend .
