Chapter 1 The Beginning

"Hey girl, you need a special invitation to get up or you want me to get up there and beat your ass into it. "Said Ary my landlady or let's just say my maternal figure

"Do you really need to shout that much Ary? I'm awake already okay?" i said

"You better be cause you know there's no time to waste here girl, so get up already"

"Yeah yeah " i mumbled still on my bed

"And yeah listen there's some sandwich here in the kitchen make sure you take some bite before you leave. And yeah, you still have the house key with you right?"

" No I don't, you already collected it from me Ary when you lost yours like three days ago woman" i said grumbling

"Oh yeah true, I'm living the one with me on the table right now, you can just put it under the doormat when you're leaving in case I come home early, which I doubt because I think I might be working a double shift today. Ok that's it, I'm out, make sure you lock the door, close the windows and the sandwiches must be gone before i come back...no leftovers okay?"

"Yes ma'am '' I said to myself as I heard her slam the door on her way out. Ary has been so much like a mother to me ever since the death of my mother, her death took a toll on me but Ary has been the best i could ever wish for ever since she took me in.

Ever since I was a kid I've wanted nothing but a happy life i mean that isn't too much to ask for but life as it is hadn't being too fair to me and girl have to struggle out her ways in life

Being in a world full of people has been amazing getting to know people isn't really my thing..... i get cold feet when I'm about meeting new people and i just don't know why, weird right i know and it isn't just getting better when you are the shy type and you have different types of mind blocks and that, isn't a good thing trust me, but i guess i got that from my mother she'd also feel so anxious too whenever she wants to meet new people and especially her boss, those days are usually funny ...

I'm a girl who lives in her fantasies ...yeah everyone does but I am drowning in them. I live my days in my fantasies and my mother has always told me to try and turn my imagination to reality but I haven't just figured out how to do that yet. There was this one day I told her about how my classmates used to make fun of me whenever I'd tell them about some of my imaginations. She would laugh at me and trust me I'd always get so pissed whenever she laughs at what's like giving me the hardest time ever. And whenever she sees that I'm annoyed my mother would say

"My girl, you wanna know something"

"No I don't, I'm so mad at you right now that I don't want to talk to you" i would reply her and try to walk away but she'd quickly carry me in her arms and say

"You know you can't run away from me with this tiny little legs of yours you know that right" my mother would say as she tickles my feet playfully

"Listen, do not think about what your friends say but instead use those words as a stepping stone, you have a very wild imagination Diana you just have to try and make them real, turn them into a reality that no one can ever imagine. Hey listen" she'd say as she caresses my face with her palm.

"I know this is scary but you've gotta keep that little light in you shining bright no matter what comes your way baby"

"But i don't know if i can" I'd say to her in my tiny voice

"Well I do, wanna know how?" She said

"How?" I'd say again in my tiny voice

"Because you are my Warrior Princess" she'd say as she throws me in the air and I'd laugh so much that I forget i was ever mad at her

"You just have to believe it Diana, Believe" and her words still echo in my head till today. In one word i am a dreamer hoping one day to be an achiever

But life haven't really been fair ever since I was a kid , there's been a lot of ups and downs, struggling and hoping to survive ...and humans can be so mean and cruel sometimes that they don't think about others rather than themselves never caring if they are hurting others or not, they just want things to go their way. And every night I'd always wonder what could happen if things were a little bit better than this ..but I guess that's how my life is supposed to be.

Struggling and mumbling i managed to get up the bed and headed towards the bathroom to get a shower, i entered, poured some liquids and soaps on my body, as i was scrubbing i put on the shower for water to come out so as to rinse my body and to my surprise what came out was a pile of air which is so much disgusting by the way

"Arryyyy" i shouted with so much annoyance

With the kind of house I live in no one would ever imagine I'd have a shower but Ary made sure she got one made just for my sake and now she just wouldn't let me use it in peace. I mean how can a normal human use up all the water in the house..arrrghhh..Ary can be so much annoying at times

I can't believe I have to go out with me looking like a polar bear.
