Chapter 4 The Encounter

The day could not just get any longer and it seems like forever already cause I'm dying to get out of this horrible place as soon as i can. Finally the closing alarm rang as I attended to the last customer In Front of me and bursted out of the restaurant without looking back. I didn't even bother to say goodbye to Kira. I guess I will make up for that tomorrow morning. And as usual I'm started walking down the street back to my house. As i was going all i could think of was what my boss said to me, and i just couldn't get them out of my head.

I mean those words hurts like shit and if my mother hadn't died things wouldn't have been like this at least not this worse and a lil bit better. Then I decided to listen to some music in order to get those scenarios out of my head. I plugged in my earphone, scrolled down on my phone to find a song to listen to and i decided to play "A million dreams" by Hugh Jackman and i was singing along as i listened to the music

As i continued singing and was like 2 miles away from my house I heard a sudden tap on my shoulder, i paused the song and looked back to see who it was and lo and behold, what appeared Infront of me is a guy with a dazzling dark hair coiffed to perfection, his eyes had the same startling clarity as a mountain stream and the lineaments

of his face were in perfect proportion to each other.

He seemed molded from a different cast as he had a gendered look uncommon to most people. Lacquered and enameled by the sun, he radiated energy and vigor. His mountain peak cheekbones appeared chiseled into shape by a master craftsman. They were of such sharp contours, it looked as if they were sculpted and paired to perfection. With eyes as bright and

spellbinding as lode stars, they bewitched all those who fell under his steady gaze. They were a-sparkle with mirth and shone like two eternity-blue jewels enwrought in snow.

"Hi," he said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh yeah Hi" I said in return.

"Hi my name is Eliot Gonzales" wait! i hushed him, and stared at him for a while

"Why do you look familiar?" I asked rhetorically

"And Elliot, that rings a bells" i kept wondering why that name is familiar and it hit me"Eliot Gonzales"

"Did you just say your name is Elliot Gonzales" I asked

"Yeah, and if you'd let me finish then you can get to know me more" he said

"Eliot Gonzales! Eliot Gonzales, yesss now i know why you look familiar, you are the guy that anchor's the show "The Act of Justice" every morning on Just Tv right?""

"Yup that's right" he replied

"Yess, i knew I couldn't be mistaken"

"I guess I don't need to introduce myself to you again right?" He said with a chuckle.

Yeah right I replied grinning.

You know, every morning I used to sneak into my landlady's room just to see your morning show. What got me was the fact that there's actually someone out there who really cares. I mean you don't think about the fact that they can come after you to get you killed or something... I said chuckling

"Actually I do, i just don't show it" Elliot said while chuckling

"Either way you know what I mean right?" I asked

"Yeah sure I got you," Elliot replied.

"It's nice to meet you sir" i said with a smile

"My pleasure" He replied

"I see you are one kind of person that would be interested in my line of work with your enthusiasm and passion... it's nice, keep it up " he said with a thumb up

"Oh I'm sorry, it's just that i kinda blabber a lot really.. and that's really nice of you sir to think about in that direction I really do appreciate" i said

"Oh no no actually it's cool i actually enjoyed the conversation it's just that I'm only trying my best to get Justice for the less privileged that got cheated and are still getting cheated and yeah I know how that feels" he replied

"Thank you sir it's just that I get shouted on whenever i say too much so I'm just tryna be careful and wanted make sure I'm not upsetting you or something" i said

"Errrmm, first, can you do me a favor," he asked

"Yeah sure as long as it is within my power I'm up for the task" i said jokingly and demonstrated as i raised of my arms to show my tiny muscles

"Oh, it's nothing much actually" he said with a smile

"It's just that, errrmm can you please stop using "sir" for me?" He said

"Oh okay " i said with a smile

"Well I'm just trying to be respectful you know"

"Oh please, I'm just like maybe three years older than you and whenever people uses "sir" for me it makes me feel old so please stop"

"You can just call me Elliot, i think I'd do with that"

"Okay then Elliot it is " i said smiling

"Ok so that about that, secondly, when i said keep it up earlier, i didn't actually mean keep it up, keep it up" he said with an air quote

"Oh so what do you mean then"

"Ok so here's the thing, if you're going to keep it up" he said air quoting again

"You're gonna have to do it on a low key and if you wanna go big, you really need to have a big backup, you understand what I mean?"

"Ohh, yeah sure i understand and anyways, i don't think i wanna go into that" i said shredding

"Will remind you, you said so don't worry" he said with a smile.

"Speaking of which what is a big man like you doing here at Hawthorne of all places" I asked

"I once lived here actually"

"Oh really"

"Yeah, but it's been a long time.
