Chapter 4 My Terms And Conditions (second meeting bad impression)

Damian paced to and fro at the company lobby looking restless and confused and just then he phone rang , he glanced at the screen and frowned because it's an unknown number . He sighs and picks the call ..

"Hello Mr Damian " a deep unrecognised voice rang out from the phone speakers and Damian rolled his eyes .

"And who the fuck is this " Damian ask

" Who I am doesn't matter Mr ..." The caller was still saying when Damian hung up and hiss out loud , he's not in the mood for this nonsense. His phone started ringing again and it's the same person calling .

"Who is this brainless he goat " Damian growl and pick the call

"Stop disturbing me and .."

" You are so rude for a man who is about to go bankrupt and lose his company and everything he had worked for "the caller quickly said and Damian paused, totally confused .

"W-who is this "he stuttered and the caller laughed heartily.

" Well I am the one responsible for the hacking of your company, your money is with me " the hacker said and Damian took down his phone and glanced at his phone screen and that was when it came down to him that the caller ID is anonymous with no contact number on display.

"Is this some prank or something "

" Hell no , well I know where you are . You're standing in the lobby close to the fire extinguisher. I love your Gucci wrist watch, it's fancy "the caller said and Damian glanced down at his wristwatch and he swallowed hard .

"Hahaha bow you realise huh , well I feel pity for you Mr Damian Freeman . By tomorrow everyone will find out about your company's advance to bankruptcy and am sure you know what that means . Oh tomorrow the newspaper headline will be fabulous" the hacker said and Damian couldn't help but imagine how life will be for him if he doesn't get his money back .

" Okay okay that's okay , what do you want " Damian asks .

"What makes you think I want something from you "the hacker said back and Damian smirked .

"If you don't want something then you wouldn't have called me , so don't you cut to the chase and tell me what you want . "

"Well you shouldn't sound to the sky because I'm 10 times richer than you , have you forgotten I have all your company money under my control . So if you think you can blind me with money then you should think twice "the hacker said and Damian clenched his fist .

" Okay what do you want , what the hell do you want from me " Damian asks .

" Well I want us to talk one on one I have a deal for you "

"And what makes you think I won't report to the police and double Cross you " Damian asks and the hacker giggles .

" Damian Freeman I know all about you and am sure you wouldn't want to gamble with your company, I am not stupid. If you involve the police, rest assured you will end up arresting the wrong person and I will be there to laugh last "the hacker said and Damian sighs and massages her forehead.

"Fine " he breathed out .

"Great , I will drop the venue of where you will meet me and please don't be late "the hacker said and the line got disconnected.

"Ahhh "Damian screamed .

" That bastard , I am going to get back at him I swear "he yelled out in frustration.

"Sir are you alright? " Mr Godfrey, who heard the scream, rushed out and asked .

"Do I look okay to you huh "he holler and Mr Godfrey flinches .

"Get lost "Damian barks and Mr Godfrey quickly rushes back into the tech hall , all eyes turn to Damian the moment he walks into the hall .

" Sir am..."

" Listen up all of you , I want this situation to be kept a secret for now until we sort this out . No one should know about this , the 5 of you are to keep your mouth shut and if this issue should be leaked to the public I swear I won't spare any of you ." Damian said and they all gulped down frightfully, he huffed and grabbed his car key .

"You all may leave "he said and walked out , he could hear distress grumbling from them but who cares anyways .

Damian could not return home because it's already midnight so he decided to book a hotel room .

Laura was awakened by the sound of her alarm and she beam and sat up , she stretched her body and yawned .

"Today is the day hahaha , I feel so good "she shrieked and jumped down from her bed and rushed into the bathroom to take her bath .

Mrs Roswell has finished making breakfast and the dining table is set for the family. Mr Roswell climbs down the stairs dressed in his grey suit and beside him is Ricardo .

" Rico, I want you to handle the kidney transplant. I don't trust Roman, " Mr Roswell said .

"Don't worry Dear you can count on me , I am gonna handle the operation but we know I have 4 operations to carry out today " Ricardo said .

"I know soon I am going to schedule someone to work with you, " Mr Roswell said .

"Good morning mom "Ricardo greeted her and kissed his mother cheek before taking a seat .

"Morning love "Mr Roswell said and kissed her lips before taking a seat .

" Mom, I also deserve a lip kiss "Ricardo jokes .

"Go get yourself a wife and get your eyes off mine " Mr Roswell said and they all laughed .

"Where are the girls? " Mrs Roswell asked .

" Women are slow and sure they are working on their face with powder and multiple skin care " Ricardo said with a chuckle .

" And they will spend 20 minutes staring at the mirror admiring themselves "Mr Roswell said, eyeing his eyes , he and his son laugh heartily.

" I know you're referring to me David "Mrs Roswell said with an eye roll .

" Am ready for the day , good morning mom , dad and to you big brother " Jenny greeted .

"So how do I look dad " she said

" You look fabulous" Mr Roswell said smiling and Jenny giggled and took a seat , Mrs Roswell rushed out rice and beef stew and poured out Orange juice for everyone .

" Hello family , and merry Christmas oops it's not yet Christmas but anyways today is a great day " Laura squealed .

"Ahh Mrs happy is awake " Jenny grumbled with an eye roll as she took a spoon full of rice and shovelled it into her mouth .

" Yo Rico how are you doing? " she said and they did their coded handshake.

" Morning mom he good morning oldboy " she said and Mr Roswell almost choked .

" Oldboy. Don't you have a single respect for me? "Mr Roswell half yelled , Laura shrugged and took a seat beside Ricardo .

" I love you too dad "she said and Mr Roswell sighs in frustration.

"Let's just eat in peace " Mrs Roswell said and also sat down .

"Anyways I have an announcement to make "Laura said and climbed on the dining table .

"What the hell are you doing Laura , for god sake don't you have any manners " Mr Roswell yelled .

" Awe like seriously most you always act stupid all the time " Jenny said irritated by what Laura is doing .

" Shut up Barbie " Laura snap

"Laura came down from the table , you can't just climb on the table like that, it's .."

"Don't worry mom, I'm gonna wash the table sheets . Okay family I have a big news to break and I respect you all to open your ears wide " she said smiling , Mrs Roswell stared blankly at Laura , Mr Roswell and Jenny are glaring at Laura while Ricardo on the other hand is eating his food peacefully enjoying the show .

" What's it Laura , have you found a job? " Mrs Roswell asked .

" Haha really is that why you're acting like a monkey who just had a test of tobacco " Jenny asks laughing .

" Well no that's not why am standing here "

"Then why are you disturbing our beautiful breakfast with your noise? " Mr Roswell snapped .

" Geez you all are boring anyways let me drop the bomb. This beautiful Psycho here is getting married soon " Laura said and the hall was silent then a laugh roar of laughter filled the air , they all laughed including her mom .

"Hahaha , are you joking? Wait you're joking right " Mrs Roswell asked .

"Nope, I am not getting married to a rich handsome billionaire "she said .

" Such a delusional fool " Mr Roswell said with an eye roll , Laura grit her teeth and glared dagger at her father .

" Am not delusional am telling you the truth " Laura yells and stumps her feet on the table.

"Wake up from your dream sister no one will accept to get married to a broken fish like .."

"You bitch " Laura yelled and leaped on Jenny and they both fell flat on the floor .

" You are starting to irritate me with this attitude of yours " Laura screams and pulls Jenny's hair causing her to scream out, Ricardo quickly drags Laura away from Jenny who is already crying like a baby .

" You ..you Laura " Mr Roswell yelled and made to slap her but Mrs Roswell stopped him .

"That's enough David "she said glaring at Laura who bit her lips guiltily before stumping out of sight .

"I'm going to show them what I made off "Laura said to herself.

Meanwhile Damian was already dressed for work when he received a message from the anonymous hacker and it's an address .

"Finally "he grumbled and grabbed his car keys and rushed out of the hostel. Caroline had tried calling him several times but he was busy with her calls. He was still driving when she called again .

"What's her problem for god sake "he mumbled and picked the call .

"I have been calling you for ages , what's your problem, why were you busting my balls . Oh oh don't tell me you were with another woman " she yells , Damian groans and tightens his grip on the steering wheel.

"Look Caro am gonna call you back ,love you "

" Wait, don't you dare hang up ..." She was saying when he hung up and quickly blocked her number , after a long 10 minutes drive he finally came in front of an old looking restaurant.

"Like seriously , this place smells like shit "he grumbled in disgust before approaching the structure.

He walked into the restaurant and thank god there were few customers inside , he located an empty seat and settled down .

"Good day sir, what would you like to order? " a lady said, flashing a smile .

"Ummm give me something soft, " he said and she smiled .

"Oh okay sir do you want anything else , am capable of taking any order from you "she said licking her lips seductively, Damian understood what she's driving at but right now his mind is somewhere else .

"Nah that will be all "he said dismissing her , she bowed and walked away disappointed . While Damian was walking someone took a seat in front of him and he frowned and looked up .

" Hey lady, can you go find another seat "he said rudely and Laura scoffed .

" You're really something else Mr Freeman " she said and he arch her brows .

"Who are you "

" Duh , I didn't expect you to come here right in time. I thought you would be proud enough to keep me waiting . I see you do take your company serious" Laura said .

"Here your order sir "the waitress placed the cup of apple juice in front of Damian who didn't care to notice it , his attention was now on the girl in front of him .

"Who are you? " he asks , Laura picks up the juice and gulps it down then she turns to the waitress who is still standing next to Damian .

"Geez apple juice don't you have something much better , please serve me a plate of spaghetti" she said as the waitress bowed and walked away .

"Who the hell are you? '' Damian half yelled but Laura ignored him and typed something on her phone and Damian received a message from the hacker , he gasped when realisation hit him hard .

" You , you're the hacker , you're the fucking thief " Damian scream ready to launch an attack on her .

" You should control yourself Mr Freeman you wouldn't ruin your reputation"she snapped and Damian grit his teeth when he noticed many people were now staring at him .

"And yes am the hacker , tadah " Laura whispered with a big smile on her face .
