Chapter 2: Strong Wolf

Emily could already feel tears rolling down her face as she thought of what to do next.

Standing up, she staggered her way to her door and slowly had it open.

Alpha Ralph noticed that Emily was already opening the door, so with force, he pushed the door.

"How dare you lock my door?" he said as he approached her, disgust on his face.

"I know it is your house, Alpha Ralph, but I occupy this space," Emily stated fearlessly. She always remained confident and stubborn at night because that was all she felt was needed to overcome her challenges.

"You think you have got guts? I intend to cut your guts off today." Alpha Ralph spat and pushed her to the bed.

Instantly, she jumped up. "I am sorry if I sounded rude, Alpha Ralph, but I simply can't let you do that to me. I have my rights," she replied.

Looking into her eyes, Alpha Ralph calmed down as he decided to change strategy.

"Okay, I accept that I was wrong. Emily, you are a beautiful lady growing into a valuable grown woman. Look, you will be eighteen soon. You are no longer a kid. Let's have fun. This will mean a lot to us, and you know it." he said to her, putting her in a state of confusion.

Emily was surprised and confused at his words. Never in her dreams had she ever thought of Alpha Ralph ever saying a single good about her. All he had ever had for her was hatred and disgust. She knew there was no way his words would be accurate. She can be deceived, at least not so easily.

"I am sorry, Alpha Ralph, but you can't lay me. You are..."

PAK!!!

Before she could complete her statement, Alpha Ralph shut her up with a hard slap straight on her face.

Emily froze.

She held her chick as hot tears streamed down her face. Her eyes widened in shock.

How come she was so shocked at this?

This was expected of him.

Blinking her eyes, Emily walked to the side of her bed, sat down, and began to cry bitterly.

"Do not ever make the mistake of thinking that you are beautiful or useful anyway. That I wanted to touch you was me trying to do you a big favour. You should be grateful, not opening your wide and disgusting lips. You will be eighteen soon, yet you don't have a wolf. You should be ashamed of your entire existence because you are not only useless to me but to my entire Pack. Go to hell with your body tonight. It's not like any Alpha in his right senses would admire you." Alpha Ralph trashed her with his words and walked out of her room, jamming the door so hard.

Emily's tears couldn't stop flowing out of her eyes. Tonight was just too much for her to bear. How could he say such to her? This was so unfair.

Outside of the room, Emily had no idea that someone was already prepared to trash her long before Alpha Ralph entered her room, and she had been watching till he walked out.

The person was no other than Gia, Alpha Ralph's girlfriend.

Gia unfolded her long black hair as she rolled her dark green eyes and entered Emily's room, licking it after her.

"Do you have anything for me? I mean, I am a visitor. I came to your disgusting room to dine with you as a favour. What do you think?" she said, looking at Emily's sorry state mockingly.

Emily could not reply to her.

"Are you deaf?" Gia asked Emily.

Emily acted like she did not see her as she focused on consoling herself.

"I don't think you are sane or even know what you are doing dear Emily, but somehow, I feel like you're trying to take my precious jewel away from me," she said to her.

"I have never thought of stealing Alpha Ralph away from you. I hope you help me talk to him to stay far away from me. I don't and will never like him." Emily replied bitterly and continued crying.

Emily's heart bled so much.

She had always known that Gia hated the thought of them being together, and she understood. She couldn't understand why Alpha Ralph kept coming close to her, knowing how beautiful Gia was.

Gia didn't know how to control her hatred towards her as she took a mug close to her and threw it toward Emily.

Luckily for Emily, she managed to dodge it.

The thought of how Alpha Ralph looks at Emily whenever he is around her sends bitterness down her spine. One of the biggest reasons she despises Emily is because she knows that Alpha Ralph loves her.

"I want this to be the last time you will dare stay close to Ralph. He is mine. Stay off, Emily!"

"I have nothing to do with him. I sincerely hope he lets me be. You are already a beautiful lady; why does he keep coming to me fully aware of that?" Emily asked with confidence, a bit pissed.

The sudden change in Emily's tone got Gia so upset that she bounced on Emily, trying to beat her up.

Emily got on guard and moved out of the place to avoid getting hit by Gia, causing Gia to fall hard, thereby hitting her head on the wall.

"Ahhhh!" Gia screamed in pain, causing other individuals in the mansion to walk into Emily's room.

When they saw that it was their Alpha Ralph's girlfriend, they quickly took her away from the room to her room as they summoned a doctor.

"What did you do to Gia?" Alpha Ralph grabbed Emily by her collar as he asked her, staring at her viciously.
