Amelia couldn't fathom what she had done to earn his wrath. He never did it just once, Andrew slammed her another one that almost made her fall on the tiled floor. But it didn't happen as he pulled her by the arm, held onto the back of her head and even forced her to stare at the monitor on the laptop. She's crying while begging her life to her husband.

Andrew was holding her in place as he made her stare at those obscene photos. "You tell what's this all about?"

"How dare you even cheat on me?"

"But I didn't!" Amelia blurted out as she forced herself to get free from his grasp. She put a distance between them and held onto her still not visible bump. "You need to trust me. I am not that one in those photos!"

"Then tell me who it is?" his cold eyes glared at her that penetrated deep into her soul. "Who is this goddamn woman who had your face and was sleeping with another man?"

"Don't take me for a fool, Amelia. I know what I saw. And these photos are proof of your infidelity!" Andrew pointed out. "I can't believe this," He walked back and forth in front of her then all of a sudden, he threw everything inside that his hand reached. "Goddamn it!"

Amelia watched her husband wreak havoc inside of his office. She's crying while seeing Andrew almost lose himself, diverting his anger and frustrations to everything he caught by hand. And then her eyes once again stared at the photos on the laptop. And she shook her head denying everything over and over to her husband.

She and Andrew met five years ago when they're both still in college. She had a huge crush on him who's at that time playing for the basketball team as a forward. And then one day Amelia was surprised that Andrew was courting her with flowers and chocolates. At that time, she was the luckiest girl alive as the man she loved from the distance had reciprocated her feelings.

They've been in a relationship for about a year then decided to tie the knot a few months after. They got married right after graduation. And their families are in full support of their marriage, after all she and Andrew are both only child of wealthy families.

Nevertheless, it doesn't occur to her that everything was about business since they both inherited their family's fortune and the businesses. And Andrew got to oversee everything as the CEO up to this day.

In fact, the Thompsons owned a multimillion company while her family had continued the legacy of their restaurant that's been in the business even before she was born. His family was the one behind the well known Golden Empire Development Group, the leading real estate developer that's based in Cagayan Valley, Philippines. The GEDG had over thousand homes and estates successfully built since its founding. Since then, the company has been recognized as one of the leading property and real estate developments even outside of the region. And they even gained popularity in the city and have received awards of excellence in their line of business.

Ever since they got married, her husband never let her work. He just made her stay at home and manage the household like every submissive wife. Amelia had never practiced her profession since then, and she had become the devoted wife as Andrew had told her to do.

She agreed with that kind of arrangement as she trusted her husband for it. That he just wanted her to focus on their family and their soon child to be born. And at last, after long years of waiting, finally she got pregnant.

This gender reveal party should be a joyous moment between the two of them in celebration of her timely pregnancy. Everything was on set, the guests are all settled on the garden. How come everything turned out this way?

"But I am telling you the truth," Amelia almost begged for her husband to calm down. It's a good thing that the study room was sound proof or else the chaos inside was already heard by the people just outside of the mansion. "Please, Andrew. Listen to me..."

She was surprised as her husband turned to her and cupped her face hard with one hand. Andrew was squeezing it hard that she cried in pain. His eyes showed no sign of resentment. His face was dark and contemptuous.

"How dare you cheat on me?" He shouted back at her. Amelia winced at the harshness of his voice. "How dare you do this to me, Amelia?"

"Please listen to me, Andrew," she begged him to listen to her. She even tried to reach out to him but to no avail. "I am not the woman in the photos! And I will never do that in the first place coz I love you!"

"You love me?" He released her and turned his back on her. Andrew then laughed as if that's the most ridiculous thing that he ever heard. "I don't think that you do, Amelia. And the photos say it all!"

Andrew had already judged her without knowing the truth. And Amelia had only loved him. There's no man but him in her life. And she felt disheartened seeing that her husband who she had devoted her life to for all those years had misjudged her so easily. Andrew had expressed no intention of listening to any of her explanations. And even if he did, it's as if all was already

Was that all it takes for this relationship to turn upside down? Was her love never enough to show to him how sincere and loyal she was in this marriage?

Were those photos enough to make their marriage shaken?

And those photos. Amelia was even scandalized about how detailed those photos are. And yes, those photos depict images of her having intimate moments with another man in bed. Her face shows were making faces that she never imagined that she would do. And she could only imagine that they are naked underneath the sheets, left little to the imagination.

Whoever sent those photos had all the intention to ruin her marriage with Andrew. As to what reason, she didn't know. Heck, she doesn't know what to think anymore.

But this is for sure, she couldn't do that to him. But how can she make him believe the truth?

"And that child?" Amelia looked at Andrew to see him staring at her belly. On instinct, she embraces herself as if protecting the child inside of her. "Is that child even mine, Amelia?"

"Are you really carrying my child or is it another man's brat?" Andrew's question that made her snapped.
