Chapter 2 Anna Felt Weird!

Seeing the blue eyes of the man said to be named William, made Anna mesmerized for a moment.

William's steps approached her and it was as if Anna's body couldn't move. It was as if someone was confining her.

She was afraid William would attack her! Not even the tail of her eyes could glance at Chris!

"Don't ... Don't ... Please, go away!"

Suddenly, Anna's entire vision went dark.

"Anna, what's wrong with you?"

Dad's voice! Anna started blinking her eyes.

Vaguely, what she saw was her father's face with a panicked expression.

Anna was silent for a few seconds. Until finally, she realized one thing, if she had woken up from her dream!

"Dad!" Anna immediately woke up her body that was already lying on the bed in her room.

Anna hugged her daddy tightly and she sobbed in his arms.

"Anna, what happened?" Her daddy asked again.

Anna was panting like someone who had just been chased by a wolf!

"Anna, are you okay?" Her younger brother pressed the back of his hand to her forehead, "It's cold! Why is your body so cold?" Her younger brother was immediately startled and turned his gaze toward the air conditioner that was always turned off during the day.

Because in Canada at this time of year, it was neither too hot nor too cold.

When her younger brother checked her temperature and said that Anna was very cold, she shivered violently!

"Dad, call a doctor!" said Mom, who was also panicked by Anna's sudden change in temperature.

Unable to call a doctor, Anna was carried by her daddy to the car.

Incidentally, the hospital in the area where Anna lived was not too far away.

About ten minutes later, Anna was pushed onto the hospital gurney.

Her daddy drove the car at an above-average speed, so the journey was quick. Had he driven the car at a normal speed, the trip would have probably taken fifteen minutes or twenty minutes.

Anna looked at the faces of her mommy, daddy, and younger brother. Her body felt weak as if she had no energy at all. Even opening her eyes felt like a weight was holding her down.

At the hospital, her parents panicked at Anna's abnormal condition.

How could Anna's body temperature exceed the normal limit for a human?

However, about two hours later like a savior goddess, her body temperature returned to normal.

Her parents cried and were grateful that their daughter was still given life by God.

"Anna, how are you now? Are you feeling better?" her mother asked. Stroking her daughter's mane of hair.

The brunette girl shook her head. She could not make a sound at all.

Her mother was crying and her tears fell on Anna's cheeks.

Suddenly, Anna made a sound. It was as if her energy had returned.

"Mom ... Dad ...." The first words that came out of her mouth were her parents' names.

"Anna!" Her parents hugged her tightly. They didn't realize that the IV was still in her hand.

"Why didn't you ask me to hug you?" Her younger brother was jealous of not being invited into the family hug.

His daddy and mommy chuckled and immediately pulled their youngest son into a warm embrace.

While in that embrace, Anna immediately remembered something. "Ah, right. I'm going to be hugged by William!"

"What do you mean, Anna? Which William are you referring to?"

One month passed, and Anna never had strange dreams again.

Her life felt empty when she was not present in her dream world.

Her curiosity towards William was still raging. There were many questions she wanted to ask William.

Like for example, why is William so handsome?

"Everyone, let's split up to look for firewood!" The middle-aged man's voice woke Anna up.

Today, Anna was forced to go camping with her faculty mates.

How boring! Anna doesn't like hanging out with her friends. Because she was ostracized by her friends.

She was considered a strange girl. Because Anna often dreams about the fairy tale world, she also often suddenly faints in class and wakes up screaming. Telling her dreams to her friends.

However, no one wanted to believe her. And thought Anna was just looking for attention. So, they thought of her as a strange girl!

"I don't want to work with her, Mr!" The curly-haired girl pointed at him.

"She's a freak! I'm sure in the middle of this forest she'll only be a nuisance. And tell me about his weird dreams again!" she continued.

Hearing that, the brunette girl fell silent. Especially hearing the agreement from her friends, if Anna was not allowed to go to the forest to look for firewood. It would certainly be very troublesome.

"Mr, I have no problem looking for firewood myself," Anna replied confidently.

"Anna, the forest is very large. You can't look for firewood alone." The lecturer sighed and looked at his student who looked like a child!

"Are you five years old? Even something like this is a problem! Anna will remain in Team C! And no one can protest!" The lecturer didn't want to listen to the student's complaints.

"Get on with it! You can only be in the forest for thirty minutes. No one is allowed more than thirty minutes! Be careful not to cross the forbidden forest sign!"

All the students nodded in understanding and they all started walking towards the forest.

Camping in a place like this made Anna think of the place in her dreams!

However, she didn't say much. No one would listen to her!

"Anna, please bring this sack!"

The protesting girl threw the sack right into the face of Anna who was walking behind them.

"Why don't you respond quickly? You were telling me about your strange dream with such vigor!" she quipped.

The three people in Team C burst out laughing at the way their friend humiliated Anna.

"Can't you appreciate others once in a while? You always belittle everything about my dreams. However, you have a bad character yourself! Please, correct yourself first. Before you embarrass others in front of everyone!" Anna said with an exasperated look on her face.

Just as the girl was about to answer Anna, an earthquake suddenly shook the students in the middle of the forest!

They all screamed hysterically and ran towards the outside of the forest.

Friends held each other's hands as they came out of the forest. Only Anna didn't have any friends to hold on to.

When Anna was about to chase after them, she suddenly fell. Her friends panicked and didn't realize that she had bumped into someone.

The earthquake was getting stronger. It was the first time in her life that she felt an earthquake this strong.

Anna woke up from her fall and when she was about to run, she was surprised that all her friends suddenly disappeared from her sight in an instant!

Where had they gone? Why did they leave her so quickly?
