Chapter 4 Woman's Problems

"Oh come on, who uses shamans!" Ardhan argued firmly.

"Don't lie, it's impossible for your career to suddenly take off." You're just a collector, so how can you be trusted as an office representative?" continued Jundi, Ardan's good friend, who has now turned into his hater.

"I'm trying to be better, I –"

"If you are trying to be better, you must be using black magic. Where did you meet the shaman?"

"Don't just accuse me!"

"What is this?" asked Mr. Bobby, who suddenly came and stood behind Jundi.

Knowing that his boss was there, Jundi just left without saying a word. Meanwhile, Ardhan could only smile faintly at his enemy's behavior. The man then approached Mr. Bobby.

"Dhan, starting tomorrow you don't have to charge consumers anymore. "You just focus on our collaborative project," said the middle-aged man.

"But, sir, isn't it ad-"

"This is an office order, you must carry it out, Ardhan," said Mr. Bobby, interrupting his subordinate's words. There was nothing the man could do except carry out this difficult task. After saying this, the boss allowed Ardhan to go home.

His desk is tidy, now it's time for the man to return to his house. As soon as he left the room with the other employees, Ardhan realized that many employees were still talking about him, so he walked with his ears covered.

Finally, Ardhan could breathe a sigh of relief when he arrived at the parking lot. He started his battered motorbike and started to leave the office area. On the way home, Ardhan accidentally saw the mysterious grandfather.

"I have to chase that grandfather," Ardhan determined. The 23 year old man immediately turned around to chase the man. Ardhan didn't want to waste this opportunity, there were many questions in his mind that needed answers.

The distance between Ardhan and Grandpa was not that far, but for some reason he couldn't catch up with the man, no matter how fast Ardhan drove his vehicle. Ardhan continued to follow the old grandfather until he didn't realize he was in a strange place. He immediately stopped the vehicle and looked around him.

On the right and left, there was a large area of land, of course, this made Ardhan confused. The man felt that it was impossible for such a large, densely populated city to still have such empty land. Fear made him decide to turn around and not chase the grandfather's figure anymore.

The surrounding conditions with minimal lighting made it difficult for Ardhan to find his way home. Fear and confusion also make things worse. Luckily, he met a fried rice seller. "Excuse me, bro," said Ardhan. "Just ask, which way is the exit?" he continued after getting a response from the seller.

"Just go straight, bro, about a hundred meters, then turn right," explained the seller.

"Thank you, bro," said Ardhan, and he started his vehicle again.

The man had followed the directions given by the seller, but he had not yet found a way out. His panic increased when he heard the sound of a woman crying. The sound became louder as time went on.

Ardhan had no intention of looking for the woman's whereabouts. Unfortunately, his motorbike's headlights focused on a woman sitting with her head down on the side of the road. Ardhan was confused about whether to approach the figure or continue his journey.

His sense of humanity predominating, the man then approached the figure. Ardhan nervously greeted and asked the figure. "Excuse me, sis, what are you doing here? Why are you crying?"

The woman stopped crying and slowly got up from her sitting position. Now that they were both standing, Ardhan took a step back when his eyes met the woman's. He saw a different color again, and it surprised him.

"Can you help me, sir? I want to go home," whispered the woman.

"Ho –home? Go home to where? Why is it here?" Ardhan said he was a little afraid.

"My boyfriend left me here, can you take me home?"

Ardhan did not immediately agree to the woman's request, he was busy researching whether the person he was talking to was really a human or another creature. Because Ardhan never answered, the woman cried again and repeated what she had said.

"Look, sis, I don't know the way home either. What if we both get lost further?" Ardhan tried to explain the situation.

"It's okay, bro, we can find a way home together. The important thing is that I am not alone anymore."

Ardhan and the woman then walked together, looking for a way out of that place. There was no conversation between them, the man had a lot on his mind. One of them hit the eyeball of the woman beside him.

"His eyes are unique, blue and yellow, what do those colors mean?" he thought.

The woman turned to Ardhan as if she knew that the man was thinking about her. "Why, sir?" asked the woman. Of course, Ardhan became embarrassed, he could only smile faintly. "Something wrong with me?"

"No, sis," said Ardhan quickly. "Please come up," said Ardhan. The woman immediately took a position behind the man. The old motorbike started up again and continued looking for the way home.

Ardhan dared to start a conversation. He asked for her name and the reason why the woman was left in that place.

"We had a fight, bro, and as usual, every time we get into a big fight, my boyfriend always drops me off on the street."

"Where are you guys from?"

"I accompanied my boyfriend to see the location of the project he was working on there," answered the woman. Ardhan nodded his head, and he increasingly sympathized with the woman. The man then asked about the home address of a woman named Kinanti. It turned out that the woman's house was not far from Ardhan's house.

They were so engrossed in chatting that they didn't realize they were almost at their destination. "My house is blue," he said. Before he reached his destination, Kinanti asked Ardhan to turn off his motorbike. "That's my boyfriend, bro," Kinanti said, pointing at the figure of a man standing in front of the fence of his house.

Ardhan watched the figure repeatedly. His features were the same as those of someone he knew.

"That's your boyfriend?"What's his name?" Ardhan asked to confirm if his suspicion was correct.

"My boyfriend's name is..." Kinanti's sentence was cut off because suddenly the woman got off the motorcycle and approached the figure who was said to be her boyfriend. Ardhan, who was still curious, continued to pay attention to the two people.

He became increasingly convinced that Kinanti's boyfriend was someone he knew because the man's voice was quite familiar to him. Ardhan, who didn't want to interfere in his client's romantic affairs, decided to leave immediately. However, when he was trying to start the motorcycle engine, suddenly the car's headlights focused on him.

"Hey, you!!"
