Chapter 2 The New Look!

"Yes, I'm waiting for Mas Ardhan to come to pay all my company bills."

"Are you serious about paying all the bills?" Ardhan repeated it, not believing what he had just heard.

"Seriously, sir, I will pay everything along with the fine," said the man. A smile suddenly spread across Ardhan's lips, he forgot about the glasses problem. The most important thing now is that the client pays his debts.

"Okay, sir, we can walk now," he said. With their respective vehicles, the two went to the company. It didn't take long for the two of them to arrive at their destination. Ardhan was taken to the meeting room. There they talked about the unpaid bills, Ardhan negotiated for a long time until finally he came home with good news.

Ardhan felt really happy because he had succeeded in his mission, but something was still bothering the man's mind. The vision is different now because of the glasses. Every time he looked into someone else's eyes, they appeared red or blue.

"Did it become like this? Why did their eyeballs change? What does it mean?" he thought.

Unfortunately, Ardhan didn't have much time to find the answer, this afternoon, he still had to go to the last company. Coincidentally, the company was not far away, so in a short time, he arrived at the fourth company.

Unlike the previous two companies, as soon as Ardhan said his goal for the company, the frontiersmen immediately greeted him in a friendly manner. The company manager also showed the same thing.

"Sorry, Mas Ardhan, our company is late in paying its obligations," he said kindly when they were in the meeting room. The payment process was fast, and after all transactions were completed, Ardhan returned to his office with light steps.

Everyone in the office was suddenly friendly to him, of course, this surprised him. Another surprise awaited him. The boss smiled broadly as he walked toward him. "Well, that's it, Dhan, good job.

"You managed to bill the most difficult client, you're great," praised the manager.

"Thank you, sir," Ardhan stammered. He was not ready to accept praise from the person who usually scolded him.

"What spells did you use? Or what prayer do you use, suddenly the company wants to pay?" asked the boss, who seemed to be accusing him of playing dirty.

"There are no special incantations or prayers, sir." Maybe he feels sorry for me," replied Ardhan as he stole a glance at his junior.

"Because your work was good today, I will assign you to meet our new big client," offered the man.

"I-I sir?" Ardhan asked in disbelief.

"Yeah, you want to, right, Dhan? This is a rare opportunity, if you succeed in getting cooperation with that company, you will be promoted."

"Mmm... Look, sir, A-and-so... actually I," said Ardhan while scratching his scalp, which didn't itch.

"You just think about it, Dhan, but I hope you are willing to become a company representative," said the boss, and he walked away. Ardhan then continued his steps towards his workroom. In the room, which was dominated by whites, he thought about many things.

One of them was regarding the offer from his superior. Ardhan did not feel confident in carrying out the task, even though the reward he received was really large. He had been waiting for a long time for the opportunity to be promoted. "This is indeed a golden opportunity for me, but what made Mr.

Boss entrust me with this difficult task? "Why is it suddenly like this?" he muttered.

Another thing that also bothered him was that all people's eyeballs turned into two solid colors. Ardhan thought about what made their eyes different. If you look at gender, it's not only female colleagues who have blue eyes, many male colleagues have the same color. Vice versa.

The sound of a knock on his work door made Ardhan turn around. A woman entered his room carrying a pile of other client lists. "This is the second list of clients, try to pay everyone, sir.

Remember, what risks will you get if you don't do it well."

"Ma'am, you don't have eye pain anymore, right? because your eyes are red?" He said, daring to ask because the woman's eyes looked dark red.

"No, I'm fine. "Those eyes are red, why are you suddenly asking that?" said the woman angrily, then left the room.

"Maybe what makes the difference is their treatment of me." Red means evil, and blue means good," he tweeted. "The evidence belonging to other employees is solid red, but why is Mr. Bobby's blue?"

The door to the room was knocked again by someone, this time it was the boss who came. It seemed like Mr. Bobby couldn't wait to hear Ardhan's answer. "So what do you think, Dhan? You've thought about it, haven't you, so what's your answer?"

"I do, sir," he answered quickly. Ardhan didn't know how he could say that.

"That's good then, you'll be leaving tomorrow." "All the documents have been prepared, you just have to study them," explained the middle-aged man. The boss praised Ardhan's new appearance, saying that the man looked better wearing glasses. The man just lowered his head in shame while cursing in his heart.

After Mr. Bobby left, another person entered his room. A well-built man, he is Ardhan's good friend.

"Dhan, I heard earlier that you are an office messenger, right?" asked the man suddenly.

"Yes, I hope Mr. Bobby doesn't make the wrong choice," said Ardhan.

"It's certain that Mr. Bobby made the wrong choice. When you are the office representative, there are many other employees who are better and more worthy. Can you really answer all their questions?" said the man. His comrade in arms' words, of course, made Ardhan widen his eyes, but there was something else that surprised him even more.

His best friend's eyes were very dark red. The man in front of him was the place to complain. Ardhan had never been jealous of his friend's achievements so far. Unfortunately, his friend didn't act the same as him.

"It's better for you to just step back, Dhan, just say that you're suddenly nervous or something. "Let someone else who is more qualified be replaced," he continued.

"Why do you have to go back? Mr. Bobby entrusting this important task to me means he doesn't trust anyone else. "The other employees are no more qualified than me," said Ardhan with a little emotion. He kicked his friend out on the grounds that he wanted to go back to work.

"Rest assured, Dhan, you will fail at this project as you usually do. "You leave this office as soon as possible," said the man before leaving the room.

Ardhan sat pensive in front of his computer screen. He thought about what his friend had said-what if it turned out that those words came true? Everyone would blame him, he was once again the topic of conversation in the office for days.

"If I succeed, I will be promoted, but if I fail, I will most likely be fired. "Maybe it's better if I just step back," he thought. Ardhan then got up from his chair and walked towards the brown door.

"Ardhan, it's serious. There is bad news for us, our client apparently wants ..."
