Chapter 5 Is she dead

Levi and Hermes walked into the room, filled with thick, dark mist. Because of their abilities, their sights were good but they weren't able to see the source of the mist.

They both knew it was coming from Mercury. The dark mist was emitting from him, covering him in a cocoon of darkness. His elbow were on the arm rest of his chair, which was the only chair in the middle of the room, while his cheeks were resting on his knuckles. His eyes were closed and everything about him seemed lifeless.

"What is going on Mercury? You sounded urgent when you called for us."

He suddenly opened his eyes which were pitched dark and looked at the both of them. "I need to hunt." he responded gruffly and looked towards the door.

"What is going on with him?" Hermes questioned in a whisper.

Levi watched for a while and then his eyes broadened seeing Alex moving uncomfortably on his chair and his claws out. "He is losing control of himself."

"The creator." Hermes gasped and hurried out.

Levi feared that moment would come and it actually did. The almighty Mercury also lost his control. Bringing someone from a different dimension came with a price. The only werewolf who did it died in the process when he was almost succeeding. It was a shock that Mercury succeeded but maybe it's because of his power and his position as the son of Median.

"Calm down Mercury." he tried to call out but Mercury wasn't paying any heed to him.

He abruptly stood up and sniffed around. "I smell.....a prey." he let out and suddenly vanished and the mist dispersed.

"Oh no!" Levi ran out of the room.

Rielle laid in the bathtub as the servants helped wash her. She felt uncomfortable with that and tried leaving but the servant only held her down and weren't listening to her pleas.

They seemed adamant on getting her cleaned up. She just had to stay back and wait for it all to be over so she could go back home and forget any of it happened.

"I am curious, where is this place and why are you girls behaving odd?" she asked. "I don't mean to sound rude, but you girls have being quiet since I came in here no matter what I do. You haven't said a word."

She waited for them to say something but as usual, they weren't replying. She wondered if that was a law in the castle. If that's a law then it is inhumane.

"You can talk to me. I promise, I won't say anything. Besides, I am leaving today and I will totally forget about anything that happened here." she made an effort to convince them but none of them were saying anything.

She sighed in surrender and kept quiet. She wouldn't want to keep pushing them to speak.

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the room changed and it felt as if a dark force drove into the room. All the hairs in her body rose as she held her breath.

The servants all ran back in fright.

Rielle panicked as the water in her bath tub began to stir vehemently. "What is happening! Help me!!" she cried as she felt as if she was being engulfed by the invisible force in the water. "Help!" she cried again.

The door to the bathroom suddenly opened and the place was filled with mist. Rielle mouth fell opened with no words coming out of her. She couldn't explain what was happening.

A being moved into the room with a speed like a flash of lightning. He was covered with mist and the atmosphere that surround him was that that speaks danger.

He placed his two hands on the two side of the bathtub and leaned closer until he was breath away. Rielle felt breathless as she stared back at him. She couldn't speak. All her muscles seem to have gone numb and at that moment, being naked wasn't her concern.

Even though it turns out to be a dream, she knew he meant her death.

Those pitch-black eyes pierced into her soul and seems to be sucking out her soul slowly. She couldn't stop staring at him even though she tried to look away. It felt as though she was glued and looking away will finally separate her soul from her body. Her stomach tensed as tears fell from her eyes.

Hermes and Levi rushed in, but stopped at the door. They both panicked seeing what was going on. Mercury shouldn't try to kill her cause she is their creator. If she dies, that would be the end of their lives. Everyone of them in their world.

"What are you doing, Alex? You are hurting her." Hermes asked in an alarm, calling Mercury by his real name. Mercury, Venus, Pluto and Jupiter, were just titles given to the four siblings, representing their sources of energy. They all had real names.

Alex didn't stop, but continued staring at her which was a torture to her.

"We have to stop him." Levi spoke out and his eyes turned purple as his gamma wolf form came out, turning him into a beast. He was a big, giant wolf, with hideous, scary looking eyes that could send someone below the ground.

He ran to Mercury in his form, but got pushed instead by the invisible veil Mercury made to surround him and Rielle.

Seeing how he had being pushed away before he could get to them, Hermes eyes turned bright yellow as before, as he tried to figure out what was there. Because he is Hermes, he could see what was there even though others couldn't.

Levi made to go back there, but Hermes stopped him. "Stop Levi. He created a barrier." he told him.

Levi stopped on his spot and transformed back to his human form, completely naked and his eyes still purple. "What do you mean? He is trying to bring her into his subconsciousness?"

"Yes. I don't know why but I think he is purposely doing that."

"So we should just let him harm her?"

Hermes nodded. "Yes we have to and for harming her, I am not sure that is what he planned on doing."

Rielle eyes were still glued to his until she felt her soul leaving her completely. She closed her eyes and gave in to darkness.

"Hermes, she is unconscious. This is bad."

Hermes narrowed his eyes as he examined her. His eyes went round and his mouth fell opened. "Is she.....is she dead?"
