My brother had changed to his human form, and I already got off the fighting ring.

Since Cody was the champion of the day, the guys screamed his name while the girls swooned over him, desperate for his attention.

The Beta ordered total silence, using his second in command power.

"I am so proud of the champion of today" The Alpha's voice boomed in the silent hall, his expression as cold as ice. "I watched the match from my office, and I can see you've got smart moves"

The crowd clapped and whistled while Cody smiled.

"I must say I'm really impressed"

Another round of applause made Cody's smile brighter.

"Setting you up with big Ben might look like an unfair fight to some people, but everyone sees it is indeed a fair fight"

"Yes! Yes!" The crowd supported, stretching up their arms energetically.

I rolled my eyes. Of course, only an alpha like Randall would set up someone like big Ben with my brother, and only a maniac like him would set up a fight hall like this.

"I have a champion on ground who is currently up for a challenge" He stated to Cody "Do you accept?"

I glanced at Cody, silently praying he would say 'no'.

"Yes" Cody answered sharply.

Fuck.

The Alpha gestured his head to the referee to give a sign, and the referee began the loud introduction of Cody's new opponent, and it turned out to be Gael who calls himself 'the baddie fighter'.

Cody had said a lot of things about Gael aka the baddie fighter to me. Gael is a great fighter, he always makes sure blood is spilled during the fight and bones are broken. Cody had always wanted a match with him, but the rules states that only champions can fight with Gael.

Cody worked hard to be a champion, now he wants to get himself killed right after impressing the Alpha.

I stared at the alpha from where I stood, seeking entrance into his mind, and he opened up for linking.

'Cancel the fight' I requested through the mind link.

He smirked, looking evil with the smirk, but I'm still stupid enough to find him kind of hot with his evil smile, especially with strands of hair falling to the side of his head.

"Follow me home' His response rang in my head repeatedly.

I frowned. Follow him home? There is no way in hell I'm doing that. If I follow him, it means I get to stay at he pack house and then he could toast me for dinner? Hell nah!

I glanced at Cody and his opponent, they are about the same height and size. If Cody could defeat big Ben who is thrice Gael's size, then he should be able to defeat Gael easily.

I turned my gaze to the Alpha who wouldn't stop staring at me, I can literally feel his eyes boring holes into every parts of my body.

'What do you say, little flower? Will you follow me home tonight?'

Everyone knows it's okay for mates to live together, but living with Randall is just so scary. He's a murderer. Trust me, living with a murderer like him is not nice.

'No, I'm not following you home. Cody will handle himself just fine' I said back to him through the mind.

His eyes became colder, then I felt the mind link gradually closing up. He is shutting me out from his mind.

Asshole.

The fight began when the referee howled. Neither of the two fighters wanted to strike to first. They watched each other in their fighting stance, trying to predict moves.

My brother ended up attacking first when he could no longer wait. He hit Gael in the stomach and punched his face repeatedly.

I smirked. I knew Cody would handle himself just fine, Randall can go to hell.

The crowd cheered Cody up, screaming his name as he continued to hit Gael's face. All of a sudden, the table turned, Gael managed to return the hitting, but his own is fast and calculated to meet a specific spot.

His fans screamed, almost blocking my ear.

Gael's fist met with Cody's nose the second time, almost getting it cracked into pieces. Blood tickled down my brother's nose and that got a loud and chorused 'Ohwww' from his fans.

Gael didn't stop, a sharp turning kick followed after the face hitting. Gael is clearly agile with smart techniques, he was only waiting for the right time to strike that was why he allowed Cody to hit him first.

Cody has used up most of his strength, thinking he would win, but Gael had other plans, as we can all see.

Son of a bitch. He's gonna kill my brother.

I let my eyes wander towards where the alpha was standing with his Beta. His eyes are focused on the bloody fight.

Why did he set up this death fight for my brother? The answer is simple. He only wanted to use the fight to get to me. He wants something from me and he does not want to ask in the polite way normal people do. Honestly, this pack's got a psycho Alpha.

I glanced at my brother, he's got blood covering half his face, though he managed to get few drops of Gael's blood, but still... he's in a pretty bad shape.

I moved my eyes back to Randall. This is what he wants. He is the one who started this, he can end it. I should speak to him if I want my brother to live. I know how stubborn Cody is, he would never tap out to end the fight even if that makes him a dead person.

I tried to communicate with Randall through the mind link, but he kept disconnecting the link by denying my access to his mind.

I tried and tried many times, but I couldn't even have a single success in it.

The referee howled for the fight in wolf form. The two fighters stretched their hairy arms which cracked before they turned to wolves.

Gael's big wolf drastically increased my blood pressure. One's strength can be determined from the physique of their wolf, and Gael's wolf is really huge.

Sounds of snarls and bites could be heard. The sight is unbearable, I can't stand and watch my brother walk into his death without doing something.

I walked towards Randall, who snapped his head to my direction and watched me take fast steps towards him.

I stopped few feet away from him and exhaled. His Beta stared at me with inquisitiveness before stepping backwards. I guess the alpha mind linked him to give us some privacy.

"Stop the fight" I whispered.

"I thought you said Cody could handle himself just fine?" He taunted.

"You know it's unfair you set him up in a tough fight right after he finished one" I stated.

"Little flower...."

"Don't call me that"

He threw me a lopsided smile and hummed. "I can call my mate whatever I like"

I suppressed the urge to roll my eyes at him. He is a dickhead.

"Just..." I paused "Stop the fight, please"

He dipped his large hands into the pocket of his pants. "I can't just stop the fight, you haven't agreed to follow me home"

I chewed my lips, uncomfortable with the decision I'm about to make "Fine. I'll follow you home, just stop the bloody fight" I said tiredly.

Randall gave me a nod.

"Why are you like this anyways?" I asked with quivering lips.

He simpered "Haven't you heard?"

I furrowed my brows in confusion "Heard what?"

"That I am the bloody Alpha, I get whatever I want with blood, what I want includes you, mate"

I literally felt my blood pressure increase at his words. His words are scary, his personality is scarier. Geez...He literally got me with blood.

I've heard rumors about how Alpha Randall seldom loses in any fucking thing. He rarely loses in a fight, in wars, in business, and in bets. I can see it myself now.

He didn't lose to me, I lost to him instead.
