Chapter 5 5. Half Human Vampire

"Vampire king?" Angel's body froze with all kinds of fantasies in her mind. He still hoped that all this was just a dream from a hidden imagination in his subconscious. He still hoped that he would wake up soon and return to his normal life as usual.

However, a cold touch that greeted his skin brought him back to reality. There was still a pale-skinned woman there who was currently serving him.

"You are very beautiful, Your Majesty... you are very worthy to be our queen."

Angel refocused her gaze on a mirror in front of her, showing herself wearing an ancient ballgown like a queen from a previous kingdom.

"What should I do now?" he muttered to himself, but the maid heard it clearly enough.

"You should have breakfast, Your Majesty..."

"Oh my God..." Angel cupped her face with both hands, feeling so desperate when she didn't know what to do.

"I will bring your breakfast here, or you can join us for breakfast in the dining room," explained Anne in a polite tone.

"Leave me alone," Angel said firmly, raising his face again.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Anne bowed respectfully, then walked out of there.

Angel took a deep breath, especially when he felt the tightness that was squeezing his chest at this time. His feelings were really mixed, there was fear, sadness, anger and confusion all struggling to become one.

"I shouldn't have gone with him," muttered Angel with great regret. "I should have remained an American virgin."

Slowly, the tightness in Angel's chest had an effect on his eyes, which heated up, causing liquid to start hitting his eyelids. He sobbed softly, his shoulders began to shake visibly. Maybe his fear wasn't as big as his current confusion, but it still felt excruciating.

"Mom, please help me..."

Angel bowed, putting his face in his hands folded on the table. He burst into tears, with tears flowing freely. "I want to go home... please...."

I don't know how long Angel has been crying, pouring out all kinds of worries. He started to feel tired, until his sobbing stopped by itself. Now his eyes were focused on a window in front of him, showing a fairly gray sky. Slowly, Angel started to get up from the chair, walking towards the closed window.

Angel's eyes moved wildly, staring out the window. As far as the eye could see, he only found grasslands bordered by towering trees. I don't know which city this palace is in, but there is a thin mist covering the surroundings.

Angel took a deep breath, turned back towards the bed. He grabbed his cell phone, eager to contact his mother but too afraid that he wouldn't be able to answer the questions he would hear. But, suddenly he remembered Bella, maybe it would be easier for him to tell his best friend everything.

"Yes, Bella... I hope he can help me."

Angel started looking for the girl's contact, preparing to make a call when suddenly a baritone voice stopped his actions.

"You have to eat."

"Good grief!" Angel tiptoed in surprise, causing the cell phone to fall from his grasp. He turned around quickly, staring sharply at Erick who was walking towards him. "I want to go home!"

"You will come home after marrying me."

"Stop your nonsense!" Angel screamed with both hands clenched tightly at his sides, his face turning bright red.

"Stop being angry and grumbling, now you have to have breakfast," said Erick with an expressionless face, holding out a tray towards Angel.

"You are vampires, so what can you give me for breakfast?" Angel mocked with a crooked smile, looking reluctantly at a golden hood lying face down on a tray.

"You'll definitely like it," replied Erick as he opened the hood.

Angel frowned deeply, surprised when there was only a gold-plated glass on the tray. "What's that?"

"Fresh blood from white geese that are specially raised with the best nutrition," explained Erick.

Instantly Angel felt extraordinary turmoil in his stomach, it felt as if someone was stirring him strongly. "Are you... crazy?"

"Try it, you'll definitely like it." Erick stretched the glass forward.

"Emmphh... I'm still human!" Angel screamed while covering her mouth tightly.

"You have become one with me, darling. So, part of you has become like us," replied Erick with a sly grin.

"No," Angel shook his head quickly, "that's not true. You're just making it up."

"Okay, we can try."

Angel's eyes immediately widened when he saw Erick drinking the dark red liquid from the glass. The turmoil in his stomach was getting worse, especially when he saw blood flowing from the corner of Erick's lips at this time.

"Hueek... hueekk...." Angel wanted to vomit, but nothing came out of his mouth. "This is true- emph-"

Suddenly Erick crushed his lips with the man's lips. Slowly he felt something enter his mouth through Erick's mouth. I don't know what it was, but Angel felt such a delicious sweet taste spread to his taste buds, he even swallowed it greedily.

Erick parted his lips, smiling with satisfaction when he saw Angel enjoying the blood from his mouth. He licked the remaining blood on the corner of the girl's lips, then spoke softly. "Isn't it delicious, darling?"

Angel's body froze, her face looked pale when she realized what had happened. He wanted to deny it, but the sweet and fresh taste of the blood he drank was proof that he had become one of them.

"This... is impossible," muttered Angel as he felt incredible fear again.

"Calm down, darling..." Erick stretched out one hand, caressing Angel's half-open lips. "You are still human, it's just that I have kept a little of my soul in you."

"Huh..." Angel's face looked stiff, slowly her body felt so weak that she couldn't even stand. He landed his butt on the edge of the bed, still not understanding everything that was happening.

"I'm not you guys," Angel shook his head weakly with a blank look, "no... I'm a normal human being."

"This is just a dream!" Angel screamed, suddenly slapping her own cheek. "Please wake me up from this nightmare!"

"Angel, stop it!" Erick held the girl's hands, then sat beside her. "You can't hurt yourself."

"Then take me home!" Angel snapped, his eyes blurring again, his shoulders slowly starting to shake.

"Don't cry," said Erick, his thumb starting to wipe the clear liquid that was sliding down the girl's cheek. "I don't like seeing you cry."

"I want to go home..." Angel sobbed while gripping Erick's clothes tightly, "Please take me back to my world."

Erick was silent for a moment. She was a cold creature who had no heart, but for some reason there was a feeling of pain when she saw that beautiful face covered in sadness. "I'll take you home."

"You promise?" Angel asked with a look full of hope.

Erick nodded slowly while cupping both sides of the girl's face, looking at her closely. "But after our wedding ritual tomorrow morning."
