Chapter 6 Revenge on Violet

I stayed at Alpha Raymond's mansion for a month to learn how to pretend to be Violet. Although everyone thinks that even if I don't act like Violet, it's not a big deal because the people in Dark Moon won't know Violet's personality, Luna Selena wants to make sure I don't expose myself. She asked me to learn about Violet and behave exactly like her.

I feel exhausted. I can understand Violet's personality, habits, and things in recent years, but I can't act as bossy and arrogant as her. I find it ridiculous to behave like that. But besides me, everyone feels she is strong, confident, and liberal.

My only problem is that my appearance and face and Violet's are entirely different. Even though we share the same father, we seem more like our mothers, so we don't have the same facial features. However, that problem was solved by a very talented makeup artist. He can turn my face into Violet with an artificial skin mask and makeup tools.

I was surprised when I saw my face in the mirror, "Oh my god, Paul! I can't believe you can do that! You are a genius!"

"Thank you for complimenting me! This is my first time trying this mask product. I did not expect it to succeed beyond my imagination." Paul humbly said.

While we were absorbed in looking at the results for more than five hours, a sarcastic voice came from the door, "Huh, you're fake. You are very similar to me, but you're just a fake; you can't be as beautiful as me. You bastard!"

Paul and I both paused for a moment. I didn't need to look to know that the voice belonged to Violet. My mood dropped.

During this one month, Violet and I rarely see each other. Maybe Luna and Alpha knew she didn't like me; they feared she would beat me to death, so they tried to keep us apart. But there were still a few times when we ran into each other; I know it's because Violet deliberately sneaked up to see me and made things difficult. Every time, she hurt me. The most recent injury was that a week ago, she pushed me down in the garden and scratched my right palm and both knees. To this day, the wound has not completely healed.

Paul greeted Violet to break the oppressive atmosphere, but Violet ignored him and just stared at me.

I didn't even look in her direction, but in my ear, I heard Violet's footsteps approaching me. I don't feel good in my heart. Soon, I saw her reflection in the mirror; she appeared behind me.

My body stiffened. What Violet brought to me became an obsession that made me involuntarily form fear every time I saw her close to me.

Violet stooped, her arms propped against the arm of the chair where I was sitting, her face so close to mine that I could feel her breath. It looks like she just finished eating. I smell the faint smell of food, making me feel uncomfortable.

Violet stared intently at her and me in the mirror. Although my face is already ninety-five percent similar to hers, my beauty seems slightly better than Violet's if I compare closely.

Actually, my mother is lovely. In her day, she had the title of the most beautiful woman. I ultimately inherited that beauty from my mother, so it is unsurprising that I am many times more beautiful than Violet.

Violet has realized I'm still a little prettier even if I dress up and put on makeup like her. That made her uncomfortable. She frowned, her face darkening.

I shivered involuntarily, wanting to stand up, but Violet's hand held me tightly. She squeezed my shoulder; her strength was overwhelming. I feel like my shoulder is about to be crushed.

Paul also realized something was wrong; he hurriedly said, "Lady Violet, you can't hurt her! You should let her go."

Violet paid no attention to Paul, using even more strength.

I tried to grit my teeth and keep my mouth shut so I wouldn't have to scream. Even though I won't fight Violet, I won't let her get her wish. She wanted to see my miserable, pitiful, and begging face but could only dream.

I gritted my teeth and said, "Are you using your strength to hide your inferiority and lowliness of mind? Even though you're the official daughter of Alpha Raymond now, you still have vile blood flowing in you."

Violet got even angrier. She loudly scolded me with the most vulgar words. Paul couldn't stop Violet, so he ran out of the room to find Luna. Only me and Violet remained in the room.

She let go of my shoulder. I felt liberated from the mountain that weighed heavily on my shoulders for so long, but I knew Violet wouldn't let me go so easily. She stopped before me, so I couldn't get up from the chair.

Her hand grabbed my chin, lifting my face. I grabbed her hand, wanting to push it away, but I couldn't. Suddenly, a slap like heaven fell on my face. I feel like my face has turned to one side. In my ears was Violet's hysterical laughter and scolding.

"Hahaha! No one is more beautiful than me. If I can't be as beautiful as you, I will make you a hundred times worse than me. Damn, slut! Son of a bitch! You are a bastard...."

Violet kept slapping me in the face a lot. She hit me until my head was dizzy. Then she grabbed my hair, stretching my scalp. I felt my scalp numb, both sides of my face burning.

"I will keep you from stepping into the light forever," Violet said in a low voice like a devil. There was a creepy smile on her lips.

I opened my eyes and saw that her other hand had already grabbed the scissors without me noticing. My heart sank, and I felt extremely scared and insecure.

I struggled vehemently, trying to resist Violet with all my remaining strength. "Crazy idiot! Release me. Are you crazy? You can't do that to me!" I cried out, and the anger in my heart also exploded.

We struggled for a while; we broke the furniture around the room, which soon became a mess. A few minutes later, Luna Selena, with many servants, burst into the room to separate us.

I breathed a sigh of relief, looking at Violet struggling like a madman. She yelled, scolding the servants. The servants had to use all their strength to hold her down.

Luna Selena ordered Violet to leave quickly. At this point, Paul helped me up. Before I could stand, I heard Selena say in a commanding voice, "You're annoying. From today, please stay in your room, and don't appear in front of Violet. In five days, you will be taken to the Dark Moon to celebrate your marriage to Darian."

I was stunned; I did not expect the wedding day to be so quick. Selena didn't wait for my reply and left.
