Chapter 3 Loves changes everything

Mia who wasn't expecting anyone was confused and rush to the door, she saw Liam standing with his hands in his pocket.She ushered Liam in and offered him a glass of wine and then ask Liam what his mission was," i hope i didn't do anything bad at work,i hope i'm not in any kind of troubled" she said with a very worried tone. Liam who was sitting relaxed and sipping his wine finally spoke out," what are your plans for the weekend"? Mia replied she has no important plans ,just small laundry and packing. Good Liam said, "I have two tickets for a movie premiere,go with me'.

Mia laughed and asked Liam if he was asking her to go to the premieres with him or commanding her to go with him. Liam, who was confused between choosing the right words, rephrased his sentence,"will you be free to go to the movie premieres with me, lady"? Liam asked again .Mia finally told him she can spare some time. After some time chatting,Liam left home. He was very happy when he got home. He sang and danced around till he fell asleep.

Early that morning,someone rang her door bell and it was a delivery guy. Mia received a package, when she opened it, it contained a beautiful dress and some chocolate and a note in the, the content of the note says, "look beautiful as usual'. Mia knew that the package was from Liam and was wondering if the ones she had before was from him too.She took her time to shower that day,did some waxing, put on some lovely make up and finally some nice scented perfumes. Immediately she finished dressing, Liam pulled up in front of her house and blowing his car horns.Mia came out looking all sparkling and very beautiful, her look sent some shivers down Liam's spin, left his jaw widely open, he was about to drool when Mia greeted him, he responded and told Mia she was one of a kind and that he nearly mistook him for a newly born princess mermaid.

They finally drove off and headed to the movie premier, the first stop at an restaurant to get some food. At the movies,Mia cried at every emotional scene displayed which left Liam wondering if he came to the movies with a child or a lady, he was asking himself if this type of crying also requires consolation till he saw a man patting the shoulders of another lady who was also crying due to the movie, he now understands what to do but was wondering if he and Mia are finally on that level to offer a physical touch.The movie finally came to an end and they headed to Mia's house first, Liam couldn't stop teasing Mia, he laughed at her and even imitate the way he was crying and cleaning her face.They were having so much fun until Mia asked Liam why the sudden change towards her, you were very cold towards me from the very moment i stepped my foot in the company but you seem all loving and caring now, is there something i am missing? Liam only laughed and assured her she will know when the time is due. He dropped Mia home and left to his house too.He was so happy when he finally got home, he felt that he will soon win Mia over and they could spend enough time together but fear suddenly took over him when he remembered how he treated Mia but he encourage himself by saying," I am Liam, the one who receive compliment from both women and men that i am very attractive, i am what every lady dreams to be with therefore there's no way Mia will turn me down when i finally open up to her about my feelings". He assured himself and went to bed. He dreamt spending quality time with Mia and even making out with her that day.

The next evening, he went to a club with his friends who were also having the same financial status and fame just as him, they had a some business chat and proceed to the main course of the evening, thus having fun,they invited several ladies to dance for them and after select some to flirt with, Liam who detest that is only on his phone either reading or chatting whenever they come to the club. The friends always try to convince him to have fun with the ladies but he always denies them. That fateful evening, Liam was too focused on his phone which drew the attention of one of his friend, the friend moved towards Liam's direction calling out his name. Liam quickly turned off the screen of his phone and kept it in his pocket which seemed weird to the friend. "What just happened Liam, why did you hide your phone all of a sudden?", the friend asked, or who is the lady who is making you lose focus like this.Liam gave his friend a cold look which signifies that he wasn't ready to share why he was glue on his phone. The friend knew that nothing he will do will make Liam tell him why he hid his phone so he left him and Liam went back to being focused on his phone.

It turned out that, aside being a secretary, Mia is also a youtuber and a content creator, Liam watched all her videos and even downloaded some of her pictured to his phone so while in the club, he kept admiring Mia's pictures and smiling, sometimes he even laugh loud when watching her videos.

The weekend which seemed so long for Liam was finally over, which means work and seeing Mia for another full work hours of each working day. That morning before work, he took extra time to dress up, he put on his favorite suits which everyone complimented as dazzling, he neatly combed his hair and styled it in a different and attractive way ,he also sprayed some highly scented perfume in the air and happily danced in it. That day, he went to work a bit late than ever, his mission of going late was to get Mia will have a good look at his complete outfit and most importantly face and body.

Upon reaching the office, he shouted a greeting when he reached the middle of the office with a smile. Everyone at the office was confused because nothing of that sort has ever happen.Some were even asking among themselves if he fell and hit his head or if he was feeling sick. After greeting, he walked towards Mia's desk and headed over a piece of paper to her.
