Chapter 3 Can it be real

" Ira , Ira "

Hunter gently tapped whilst I sat up shivering, my body had suddenly developed a fever, he assisted me up and looked into my weary eyes

" Are you okay love"

He asked again while I shook my head, he placed his ever loving lips on mine and got up going into the bathroom, I watched him for a while before going downstairs to see how far the maid had gone with the morning preparations

" Good morning ma"

Kate the maid greeted, she was a young girl who was in her eighteens and schooling, she was an orphan that hunter rescued in one of his missions in the north and since then the girl had stayed with them. I sat down staring at the wedding pictures, after hunter rescued me from prison, I guessed we got close and sealed it with a wedding, and it's been two years without an fruit of the womb not even a miscarriage at least his parents are far off and don't disturb or cry for Gran children

" Are you okay?"

I heard him ask again, this time he was on his military wear, that color that brought a cold feeling to my heart, a color that could take my husband away from me forever

" I'm fine baby, I'm just stressed "

I said arranging his shirt as he smiled taking his cup of tea and slices of bread after he was done with his dinner, he immediately left while I watched the car drive off, hunter has been my shield, he took me home to my uncle paying every single dim I collected and even more before marrying me off, my aunt Rachel's face was full of anger all through out that day and I gave no concern to her feelings. I immediately got into the shower while leaving for work at the hospital.

Sonia POV

Things got a little bit more easy for me when I heard Ira was released from jail and that was the day I promised myself to sacrifice my self for her no matter trouble she may ever be in the nearest years . The marriage ceremony between hunter and Ira was a life time and it was absolutely wonderful, I myself wished I could have such a wonderful relationship and I guessed things played out well for me. During my final year in school I met this amazing business student who was doing his final clearance, we got along and soon got married, although the wedding was not as large as ira's but i was glad I was getting married to a man that wasn't David. Garry my husband owned a business where he sells electronic parts and he had boys who worked for him, they even stayed at the house for work, whilst as for me, I am a complete house wife but Ira has been begging for me to take up a job at her working place but Garry wouldn't want me stressing myself with work

" This nurse work is very stressful, are you lacking anything, is there something you've asked of me, that I didn't give you?"

Garry asked when I raised up the issue, I up holding his hands

" But I need to work, I Know you provide everything for me but for now, let me work"

I pleaded seeing that wherever I was saying wasn't getting to him

" You need to take care of Oprah, she's just a year old and needs her mother, you're not working"

Garry said with the final authority as he walked out, I sat down with my heart racing, after everything I had gone through with David, I became scared of expressing my emotions that are contradictory to what a man wants because I know that even an angel can turn to a beat if upset and that road was on I never want to trend upon.

" Oke, go and buy fuel before the gen turns off, if someone doesn't tell you, you won't know what to do with your common Sense, I don't know if God even gave you brain"

I screamed at one of the boys oke, he was very new and hadn't known how the house worked, according to Garry he would stay for five years before he would be settled , oke quickly ran past me with the fuel can as I shook my head in pity, he soon came back asking for money for fuel

" You for nor ask, you could have used those your dirty teeth's to buy the fuel, animal!"

I screamed hitting his head while he took the money from the table and left

" You should treat them more better"

Ira said as I turned to see her, her hands in her white pocket with the colored pens in her pocket, such a beautiful uniform that I wouldn't get to put on

" You don't know how stupid these boys are, you think they have sense like Kate "

I snapped giving room for her to seat down

" But still they're all humans, anyways how's your husband doing?"

She asked smiling

" Fyn o"

I said as prince another worker brought juice for her

" Thank you!"

She said sipping the wine when her phone began ringing , it was Hunter who was calling, she picked up the call saying she was at my place and would soon be home

" You and that husband of yours"

I said smiling

" Don't mention it, I bought biscuit for Oprah but I guess she's asleep"

Ira as I shook my head

" Early night sleeper, I'll give it to her tomorrow"

I said putting the biscuits on the table while she stood up and left the house.

Hunter Pov

I toot the car horn over and over again before the gates were fling open, I slowly drove in which Kate came out

" Welcome sir"

She said bringing forth her hands to carry the bags, I got down staring at her

" Where's your aunt?"

I asked immediately after she took my bag

" She's not yet back from work"

Kate said turning to go inside, I watched her open the door to go inside, her dressing was a bit off, she wore such a short gown and was even braless, I picked up my phone calling Irane as I went into the house. After taking off my uniform, I rested on the bed as a knock came, I wondered who it was, Irane wouldn't knock to come into her own bedroom

" Yes?"

I asked listening to the speaker

" It's me sir"

Kate's voice sprang from the outside

" Come in"

I said while she opened the door, this time she wasn't on the same gown, she had a towel around here chest

" Kate, what's the meaning of this?"

I asked sitting up and not trying to sound upset

" My cream is finished, I was wondering if I could ask for money to get a new one"

She said with such an innocent tone, I watched her twist her legs on the floor showing some fair skin

" Take mine, I'll give you cash tomorrow"

I said while she moved to get the cream inside my closet and left immediately. I shut my eyes trying not to think outside the box, she merely came for cream , I repeated in my head, soon there was another knock on the door

" What!"

I yelled standing up as Irane opened the door, her bag had tapped the door when she was taking off her shoes

" Any problem?"

She shutting the door while I shook my head and gave her a hug

" Welcome" I uttered as she sat down taking off her clothes. I played with her hair while we were on bed

" I have to tell you something"

I said while she sat up using the duvet to cover up her chest

" I'll be going to Ghana, we have this mission and it's going to be long, maybe a year"

" A year?"

She yelled now searching for her night dress which she immediately put on

" A whole year?"

She asked again, this time with a very subtle voice

" I know it's long, but I have to serve my country"

I replied

" Ghana is not even your country but what can I do, have fun"

She said turning to face the other side of the bed

" my love"

I said resting on her shoulder, she didn't push me off, so I knew she wasn't angry as I gave her a kiss and pulled her closer to myself

" The days would run so fast and by the time you wake up, I'm right by your side"

I muttered into her ears while shutting my eyes.
