Chapter 5 The meeting

The next day, I was all prepared to go for class...I was waiting for Betty to be done.

We strolled down the hall, gisting and giggling..she gisted me about last year's prom and how fun it went.

"Ralph always wins Mr prom every year and Benita always win miss prom too every year....they're couples and Benita wouldn't allow anyone come close to Ralph....I just hate them" she said and hissed.

I giggled and we entered the class.

I found my way to my seat and was about sitting down when Benita walked up to Betty and pushed her on the floor.

"Stay away from Ralph" she screamed.

Betty stood up forcing the tears in her eyes not to drop. The whole class roared in laughter and I just sat there feeling pity for Betty.

I looked behind me and saw Ralph smiling devilishly.

I felt so much anger within me...

Betty stood up and said nothing...she say down quietly and placed her head on the desk.

Benita walked back to her seat and hugged Ralph.

He pressed her ass and kissed her on the lips.

I looked at them in disgust and faced betty.

"What was that about?" I asked angrily.

" I don't know too...he must have told her I'm crushing on him just to teach me a lesson" she said and sighed deeply.

" did u offend him?" I asked again wanting to know the reason for all the rubbish that happened.

"No, but I guess he did that just to make mockery of me, he has always been like that... picking On we the weak ones" she said.

I sighed deeply and nodded my head....this school is just something else.

After class, we both walked down to the cafeteria, we bumped into a lady that doesn't look like she's in our class.

Betty greeted her and they spoke for a while before she came back to meet me.

"That's ariana, the last person in our room, did I tell u she's a senior?" She said.

"Nope" I muttered

"I guess she just resumed today" she said as we made our way into the cafeteria.

I ordered my food and she did the same.

We were already eating when we saw Ralph and his two rascals walking into the cafeteria.

Everyone started screaming as usual except I and Betty.

I concentrated on my food and pretended I wasn't aware of what was happening.

After the screaming died down, Ralph walked to my table and pulled my hair.

"Hey nerd, seems you're new here, didn't u see me come in?" He asked with a devilish grin on his face.

I pushed his hand off my head...I was so angry.

"And who are u suppose to be?" I yelled in disgust.

"Just because everyone is screaming stupidly for u doesn't mean I'll do the same...you're none of my business." I said and went back to my food.

"Wow, you've got some nerves young lady" he yelled and the whole hall bur

He carried my food and emptied the content on my hair...everyone in the cafeteria roared with laughter.

I stood up angrily with tears in my eyes...I ran straight to my hostel.

I couldn't take anymore embarrassment.

I cried as I ran into the girls toilet....I looked at myself in mirror with food particles stuck in my hair.

Betty entered The toilet too and helped me remove some food particles.

I cried hard as she hugged me.

"You should have just kept quiet" she said.
