Chapter 3 Friends paparazzi

I woke up the next morning, took my bath, made a light breakfast and wore my new school uniform.

Classes starts by 8am so I made sure I was ready before the time.

I wondered where the last roommate went, I didn't get to meet her throughout yesterday

I greeted Betty and the other roommate. Betty replied with a smile but the other girl just shrugged and walked away.

I don't know why she's behaving strange, or she probably doesn't like me.

"Are u also in class A?" Betty asked, jerking me out of my thoughts.

" yes I am" I replied .

"Same here,durrrrh....you'll have to wait for me then, let's head to the Class together" she said squealing excitedly.

I nodded my head and waited for her to be done and soon we were on our way to the class.

I decided to ask her about the other girl.

"Is your friend always like that?or is it that she doesn't like me...or did I do anything wrong?" I asked her.

"Naaa,she's probably not used To your presence yet.. and also, you should let your hair down sometimes, you're very pretty." She replied and I smiled gently.

"Thank you" I said.

"What about the last person, the owner of the last bed, or are we just three in that room?" I asked again, hoping she'd give me a reasonable answer.

"Oh, you mean Ariana. She's not around yet. Plus, she rarely sleeps in the hostel...she's always at her boyfriend's place but don't worry, you'll get to meet her soon." She replied.

We entered the class and I picked a desk beside Betty's own.

Atleast I'll have someone to talk to and ask questions...I thought.

Soon, the bell was rung for the first period and the teacher entered the class immediately.

I brought out my book and pen and was about jogging when the teacher Noticed me and called me.

"Hey, are u a new student?" He asked

"Yes sir" I replied knowing fully well that the whole class has turned their attention to me.

"Pls step out and give us a brief introsy toon about yourself" he said.

I looked at Betty and she nodded her head.

"It's alright, just go" she whispered and smiled.

I stepped out to the front of the class and was shocked to see the amount of people that were looking at me.

I swallowed hard and was about to speak when the whole class started screaming suddenly.

I looked up to see the cause of the shouting...I hadn't even started speaking yet

three hot guys walked in and I must confess they were extremely handsome.

"Decorum everyone" the teacher shouted.

"The three of u have started again this new session, always coming late to class and causing problems" he said angrily.

"Now, where were we?, go on miss" he smiled and faced me.

"My name is queen Jonathan, I'm happy to be here" I said.

"We don't want you here nerd" one of the student said and the whole class bursted into laughter except the teacher and Betty.

I dragged my feet back to my seat and bent my head feeling embarrassed.

"Don't mind those idiots" Betty said and hissed.

" who are those guys that came in the other time" I asked.

"Those are the three most handsome boys in the whole school, they are also rascals and bullies...I don't know why everyone is attracted to them" she replied. Whatever you do, just make sure you don't get on their bad side"she replied and hissed

I sighed and opened my book...I started writing.

I never knew high school would be like this.
