Chapter 3 Escape

It has been a month since the incident with Zero and I found out his real name is Thaddius. We hang out sometimes like twice a week talking about cars and his crew of friends are nice but always have a car problem I swear. One of the guys gave me Zero's real name in exchange for some free service on his car which I gladly took advantage of. I am walking to my office and Tyler comes in behind me closing the door with a thud. I turn around and look at him with a raised eyebrow and wide eyes. " Can I help you Tyler? " I asked curious but also alarmed.

" What the hell is with you and Zero? " I chuckle at his question and roll my eyes because we are just friends just like me and the guys. " Nothing, there is no me and Zero dude." Tyler sits down leaning on my desk looking at me. " You need to come by the pack the Alpha wants to check your training. " Oh yeah, Tyler is a wolf part of the fuck around and find out pack, as I call them. All their warriors love that nickname I gave their pack and I train with them sometimes because I love fighting. Tyler sees the smile on my face and I just nod. " I have some work we can head over tomorrow or something. " " Have Andrew drop you off at school tomorrow and I will pick you up so we can run over right away. " I nod again and continue with some Excel sheets and paperwork for the shop. Tyler finally leaves me alone to my demise and after a couple of hours, I have completed my work for the day. I head out to my older bike because I usually leave my Aprilla at the shop since it's more secure. I have a black and red Ninja Kawasaki 2012 1000 and it gets around as I let all the guys ride it. He of course is covered in naked anime chicks because I have an unhealthy obsession with buying stickers that happen to have half-naked or naked females on them. I head home cruising as I don't really have anything I am in a rush for except sleep. When I get home I have to get off to open the gate to my property and then close it once my bike is in. I park my bike in the garage behind the beautiful two-story home my parents built a while back I don't really remember when. I throw a cover over him since I won't be driving him tomorrow to school and as I walk up the stairs Andrew yells out from his room. " I am going out tonight but I promise I will be here early to take you to school on time. " I am laughing because I know he will be hungover and what will end up happening is me driving there while he figures out how to deal with his headache. " Sure Boss, copy that. " I smile and go to my room taking off my clothes and climbing into bed ready for sleep to take me but I have the gift of insomnia so yeah, great. I stared at the ceiling not really getting the cooperation that I should. I don't know when but after an hour or more I think I was finally knocked out. Woke up to my alarm blasting and threw it at my closet door then rolled off my bed and got ready for the day with more black skinny jeans that are shredded with a crimson red T-shirt that reads fuck around and find Out with a black tank top underneath and some black combat boots with red laces. Of course, I have a black sports bra crop top shirt thing for training later and my black boy shorts because I don't wanna go commando and I stuffed black basketball shorts in my bag.

I am eating toast and smoking a cig with my coffee when I hear a truck pull up in the driveway and can tell it's Andrews's old box truck so I just continue eating. Andrew walks out with coffee in his hand looking like death was knocking on his door. " Damn, dude. " I don't say more knowing he's in a don't talk mood after whatever party he went to last night. " That guy, who's had a crush on you forever, asked me about you. " Andrew grunts out between sips of his coffee and I just laugh. " Yeah and Satan called asking me out, so tell him I am taken. " Andrew chuckles and heads to change before he drives me to school so I don't have to smell his girl's perfume and sex while in the truck. We head to school and I am surprised because he's driving and doesn't look as bad as earlier. " Training after school again? " I sigh and look out the window. " Yeah so call me if you need anything at the shop, I already texted the guys. " " We will be fine and I won't get into any fights while you are gone. " I just laugh and text Kyle that I am almost to school and that Andrew is dropping me off. We arrive and all the girls are staring at Andrew like he's a God which I just laugh at because he'll give anyone with a heartbeat a chance. I was about to open the door but Andrew got out and opened it for me bowing and chuckling to his treatment of me like a royal person. " Thank you, good sir. " I chuckled back as I slid out of the raised truck and grabbed my bag then waved as I walked away to class. " See you later! " I hear Andrew shout as he peels out of the parking lot. Zero and Kyle are chatting when they notice me and Kyle grabs my arm smiling. " Training today? " I just nod and then give a curt what's up nod to Zero who laughs. " Training? " Zero asks as he looks me up and down. " Yeah, fighting training stuff. I won't be at the shop after school if you need something but you can stop by the guys know you. " I say as Kyle takes out a marker and writes on my left arm. " Kyle seriously, you don't have to do this every time. " Kyle giggles like a school girl, he's a werewolf as well and from a different pack but when I go to training he writes UNMATED on my arm as if I don't get enough shit from the unmated warriors. " Hey, you never know your mate could be in this pack. " He caps the marker and steps back to look at his handy work. " What pack? " Zero looks at my arm and then meets my eyes. " Oh uh fuck around and find out. " I laugh thinking he doesn't know what we are talking about. " I live in the Crimson Moon pack, I didn't know you knew about wolves, Oni. " Kyle and I stare at Zero wide-eyed. He's only part of the strongest pack ever. " What the fuck! For real? " Zero chuckles. " I assume you have heard of my pack. Yes, I am the next Alpha. " I look at Kyle who just stares. " You hide your alpha aura very well. " Kyle states then looks toward our class. " I am training with the New Moon pack. I nicknamed it fuck around and find out because as you know their warriors live by that motto. " I state stiffening now that I know he's an alpha. I can tell Kyle wants to leave so I link arms with him and walk away. " Have a good day, boss. " I say between our shoulders because I am not shouting alpha at a mixed college with a majority of humans. Kyle and I sit down and focus on class as usual and I am excited about training later. Once all my classes were done Kyle took it upon himself to escort me to where I would get picked up.

Andrew had called me to let me know he couldn't pick me up so me and Kyle were headed back to the parking lot so he could drop me off at the shop, I was planning on taking my beautiful girlfriend Aprilla instead of my older Wasaki I called him. I transferred my basketball shorts and some other stuff into my riding backpack and then headed out. Music blasting and the road ahead was just what I needed before training and it allowed me to open my mind. I was close to the New Moon pack and I could tell because the guys on patrol all stood in the road to mess with me. I slowed down and stopped right before them then took off my helmet. I was giving them a death glare when I saw an old friend who had gone abroad but I guess now he was back and I got off my bike as I ran for him throwing my helmet at his head. I felt the pain in my wrist and fingers as my fist made contact with his steel-like face and he just grabbed me into an embrace that made me stiffen. He let me go and looked at me with curiosity and then question in his eyes. " You okay Rosa? " I just looked down and bit my tongue then sighed and one of the guys spoke up but I didn't want to talk about it. " Reggie and she broke up and it was not good when we found her. " The guy I know Nick growled out as his wolf got angry and probably remembered how they found me in the forest clothless, bruised, and broken. " Reggie? " Sam said then looked at me again and gave me a strong wolf hug, similar to a bear hug. Sam left when Reggie and I started dating but when Reggie showed his true colors he wasn't here, so it's no surprise he didn't know. " I will follow you back to the pack house, the Alpha is waiting. " I grabbed my helmet off the floor and got on my bike then went through my list of music to put on Pain by Josh A and took off not waiting for him to change into his wolf. Tears clouded my vision as I started speeding then slowing down when I was going through the town in case kids ran out. I didn't go straight to the pack house which I knew would be disrespectful to Alpha Zane but I didn't, no I couldn't be around anyone right now. I was driving in a somewhat circle in the dirt parking lot of their high school since it was empty. Self Destruct by King Iso came on and it lifted me out of the slum I had slipped into and I headed to the pack house where everyone was already outside talking to Sam who looked frantic. I sat on my bike just watching them as they turned to me to asses how I was going to behave right now. I hate when people act like I will just self-destruct or lash out at any moment, they were my friends they didn't need to be on eggshells around me. As I stepped off I didn't even bother with my helmet I needed them to know I was okay so I just started rapping Rittz part of the song that was blasting in my ears and I could see them relax. It was a terrible attempt at his part in the song but I knew his lyrics were the best of the song and can't sing so the chorus was out of the question. Sam walked over and took off my helmet and then growled when he realized I didn't even strap in on as I gave him a sweet smile so he wouldn't give me a lecture. Tyler walked over and patted Sam on the shoulder. " I think she knows that was a stupid mistake. " Tyler smiled at me and Sam visibly relaxed. " Glad you could make it, sorry that Andrew couldn't give you a ride either.," Tyler said and looked at Sam signaling we should head in and see Alpha Zane. As soon as we walked in with me in the back the guys ducked and ran away then I was engulfed in a wolf hug from Alpha Zane. " My sweetness is here to save me! " Alpha Zane yelled and wouldn't let me go as he picked me up to drag me with him to his office. " Alpha... Alpha Zane, did you piss off your Luna again? " Alpha Zane chuckled and nodded yes without letting me go knowing Luna, his wife, wouldn't hit him if I was in his arms. I heard a gasp when we entered the office and someone pried Alpha Zane off of me to just be engulfed with Luna Vanessa. " You sweet thing, let me heal you. I can feel your emotions from the border. " Luna Nessa was so amazing, I hope Tyler's mate and Luna is just as amazing. " Luna Nessa, I am okay. Really, I think I will survive. Sorry for throwing my emotions at you. " Luna Nessa winced and spoke in a stern mother-like tone. " You can always talk to me. You will never be a problem and if I can take some pain from you I will take it in stride. " I just hugged her tighter and sighed because her words made me feel better. " Okay girls, let's talk before training. " Alpha Zane said then looked around as the guys piled in. Luna Nessa snuck out probably to the kitchen to start food for after training. " Tyler will be doing a trial period as Alpha to get used to things before I step down. I know most packs never do this but I want to. " Everyone nodded because that sounded pretty good and he wouldn't be thrown the Alpha title all of a sudden. " Vanessa and I are going to go up to the cabin so if needed we can come back but won't unless it is absolutely necessary. Sam will be his Beta chosen by Tyler and Nick as his Gamma. " I clapped and was so happy for them, I knew they were all gonna make a great team. " My Beta and Gamma will be gone with their families on vacation and are not to be called unless something happens to Vanessa and me. " I was starting to get confused as to why I was here as I am not part of a pack let alone this pack and I don't have a wolf. Alpha Zane went over some rules and then looked at me and everyone else followed. " My head warrior is leaving and Jack will be taking over, his mate is human and he's chosen to take some time to spend with her in the human society before they come here. If you could talk to him and give him some advice I would appreciate it and also if you can come in to help Jack when you have the chance I would really appreciate that. " I just look at Alpha Zane in shock. " I am not a member of the pack even though you guys treat me like I am but I have no wolf. Shouldn't he be helped by a wolf? I can understand Jack since his mate is human I will definitely help him out but I don't know about the whole training since I have no wolf. " Tyler stepped forward with Sam and Nick behind him. " Rosa, please. You are like a sister to us. We would love to have you help us out. " I just looked at them and then back to the Alpha. " I will do what I can but have a backup wolf if I am no use or can't help Jake. I will not be a burden or problem. " I say staring at the Alpha who just smiled back. This could help me escape from thinking of him and I really could use that break. " Reggie, what pack is he part of? " I asked no one particularly. " He is part of the Crimson Moon pack, sweetness. " Alpha Zane said with a sullen face. The guys and I headed to the training grounds and I could see their glazed eyes that told me they were using their awesome mind link to probably talk about something they didn't want me to hear. Tyler, Sam, and Nick circled me stopping me from continuing and Tyler grabbed my shoulders to look me in the eyes. " I was just told that Alpha Perry, his Luna, Beta, Gamma, and son-to-be Alpha are here to help with some training. " I shrugged my shoulders because I don't see why that's an issue. " Okay? Also, pack relations will look better if it seems everyone is on good terms. " I looked to Nick for the answer I already knew. " Yes. but their gamma is none other than Reggie. " I stood there not even breathing as the information sunk in. " Okay. That's... Okay. I will be fine. Just don't pair us up to spar, I might kill him. " They all nodded and smiled then we continued to the training grounds. I guess I won't be able to escape if he is here. I hope he's not here for more than today's training and I hope he doesn't look or speak to me. I will murder him and then bring him back just to murder him again and again.
