Chapter 8 Eight

"Help me!" Sirius jolted up from his sleep when he heard a cry for help, his head was throbbing again so he noticed that he could feel it more but it disappeared immediately when he took the medicine. He has also received an email from his editor that he has received the new chapters that he submitted last night, this is also one of the mysteries that happened to him because it will be a mystery to him how he can write each chapter of the killer killing his victims or maybe not just him remember he wrote it.

Sirius released a deep sigh and logged into his sns account as he scrolled down, he saw an article. He frowned when he saw the picture because this was the man who attacked him just the day before, it was reported that his body was found floating in the L River and his back was full of stab wounds. It was seen on the CCTV that it passed in front of a BPO company but it is not known what happens next because the CCTV installed at the scene of the crime is also broken so it is suspected that it was haunted or that it was tripped up by people hanging out on the road.

Sirius also found out that he was a doctor and that they came from the same high school, so he asked him when they met if Sirius remembered him, but the writer didn't remember anything, in fact, during his high school life, he only remembered Julius and Edward. He heard the opening of his door but he wasn't even scared because he knew who knew the passcode of his apartment.

"What did you do there?" Julius asked then sat down on the couch, Sirius looked at him after putting his phone down on the table and sipping his coffee. "Just reading an article, why did you come here this morning?" he said, because Sirius knows the reporter's schedule and sometimes he is busy so he doesn't have free time because maybe it's a holiday he comes in just to report and there's a lot to do in the office.

"I just dropped by to check on you." Julius explained and the writer smiled, "I'm still alive, you can go home," he joked so his friend glared at him and he gave the peace sign. "Well as I said I'm okay and there are many chapters to pass." Sirius apologized, of course with a lie because he didn't want Julius to worry. The reporter released a sigh of relief, "I'm glad to hear that, as long as you have a problem, just tell me and Edward," he reminded me.

Sirius gave a thumbs up, "By the way what do you want to eat?" asked because he hadn't had breakfast yet, "Anything there." Julius answered and then focused his attention on his phone because his boss emailed him, he couldn't help but be sad about what happened to Myrus Kang. He knew that he didn't fail to threaten the doctor about what might happen to him but he was stubborn, considering that Myrus' behavior has been like that for a long time. "The food is cooked, let's eat." Sirius announced making the reporter stand up, "Hmm. .that looks delicious." he commented, the reporter stayed in the writer's apartment for an hour and a half before deciding to leave for work somehow he relaxed a bit.

After Julius arrived at L News, he was immediately given a new report, he can't but feel pity as he read the title name of the report. He still can't believe that Myrus Kang is dead because they both met yesterday and he was bragging about his achievements, although he dislikes the latter's attitude Myrus was one of his friends back then in high school. "Who is in charge of this case now," he asked their researcher.

"For now, Sir. The only one we can interview is the police inspector, her name is Gwendolyn Salazar." he smiled when he heard a familiar name, it must have been a long time since he and Gwen saw each other because he was also busy and so was she or not. is simply avoided because she's a girl. Sometimes he also asked Edward about Gwen's condition, he just couldn't help but think about the girl especially since they had something together.

"Reporter Park! good and I've caught up with you here." he turned and saw one of his fellow reporters and of course, he knew him because they were in the same batch in high school. "How are you, Report Custodio? Do you need anything from me?" he smiled and said to his former friend because Myrus Kang has the same behavior as June Custudio but he is used to it because he is with him every day. "I am fine and just got promoted," he boasted.

Julius secretly laughed at what he heard, because one could only be promoted because the main reporter he replaced left, in fact, Julius should have the position but the young man refused because he prefers to be outside and have a little adventure so it's just a studio. "Congratulations, by the way, why are you looking for me?" he asked again and June smiled.

"Our high school batch organized a tribute for Marina and Edelita but we didn't expect what happened to Myrus so we just added him." niua explained, he also heard about it but he might not be able to come that day because he might be busy with work. "Because our former adviser requested that we be complete," June added, when she mentioned their former teacher, Julius remembered how kind the lady was.

"I'll try to clear my schedule that day," he said, maybe there's nothing wrong if he takes a day off first, right? The smile on June's lips widened, "That's great, Bring Edward and Sirius too. Don't worry we know Sirius' condition, I'll make sure no one will trigger him." Julius just nodded his head and excused himself that he had to go to his place and June let him, he was satisfied that he would not come with Sirius among them because it prefers to lock in her apartment and the writer doesn't remember anything from when they were in high school except for her and Edward. He sighed and then set an appointment for later after lunch with the inspector handling Myrus's case.
