Chapter 8 08 : Crush Him

After school hours.....

At home:

Jasper POV:

"I hate when he does this." I said while sitting on the sofa.

We'd been home over nine hours ago and it was already dark, but Chris hadn't been back since he left us in the woods. Me and Leon we haven't heard from him yet. He does this sometimes. Especially when Chris got really mad he left without telling anyone where he was going, sometimes we didn't hear from him for weeks and when he came back he acted like nothing happened.

I picked up the TV remote that was lying on the table and turned off the TV which was showing a news program about a big wedding that turned into a disaster, it stated that 50 people died and some were only injured.

I glanced at Leon who looked like he was reading a newspaper but he didn't read a word, as if he was lost in other thoughts.

I know it.

"Leon, do you think Chris will be back soon?" I asked and Leon stopped then stopped.

"He'll be back soon, I'm sure of that." Leon answered without worry in his every word.

I feel there is something strange about Leon, he looks quieter than usual.

"Leon, is everything all right?" I ask because I really don't want anything personal between us.

"Everything is alright." Leon smiled at me and I hoped he meant it.

I walked over and sat beside him for a while.

"I realized one thing, you know Chris was right when he said we made a mistake by re-enrolling in school and he was right about every other thing like what he said the other day. I think we should hear his opinion more often." I say with Leon still on his paper but now he's frozen

"What? Okay maybe that was a mistake, but everyone makes mistakes, what should I do? I'm a vampire not an angel. I'm not perfect." said Leon really childish, yes apart from Chris, he was the more childish one by telling us to go to school and register, I think he really enjoyed his youth in high school.

"I don't blame you but I think we should correct the mistakes we made yesterday by understanding each other's feelings in a better way so there won't be divisions." I said and he immediately fell silent, I think he was thinking about something that might be bothering him a lot.

"Are you trying to tell me something?" I asked and he opened his mouth to say something. But all that had to stop when Chris entered the living room and sat down on the long couch with his clothes, face and body covered in blood.

"Chris!! What have you done?!" Leon shouted standing up from his seat.

Chris replied, "Don't worry, I'm the younger brother, it's not my blood." while licking his fingers that had fresh bloodstains on them.

"I'm asking what you have done! Do you want us to get caught?!" Leon snapped at him but he kept smiling without wanting to listen.

"Calm down bro, your voice is too loud, what if our neighbors hear it." he said then lay down on the sofa, staining the white leather sofa with his bloodstained clothes.

"Whose blood is it?" I ask.

"Just some foreigners."

"Several? How many people did you kill?!" Leon shouted very irritated with Chris' relaxed attitude.

"You think I'm stupid?" Chris said standing up "There were five of them and I killed them while they were all sleeping." Chris continued with a smile as if he just did something good.

"But what if someone sees your bloodied clothes." I say.

"Could you guys relax, no one saw me. It's very dark outside and I'm very fast, don't forget that I'm a vampire just like you guys." Chris said seductively then looked at me "So tell me how that stupid place called University, are you guys going there again? Have you guys killed that ugly Lecturer and that girl yet?" he asked.

I ignored Chris' question, then looked at Leon who seemed to be lost in thought "Leon, you have something to say before, continue."

Leon POV:

Seeing that Chris's clothes were covered in blood, I imagined that the blood was Jane's.

I imagine Jane screaming for help as we sucked her thick blood, the three of us sucked it dry then ripped her heart and heart out and ate it.

We've killed a lot of humans before, many times and I can't count how many but for some reason I don't feel like killing this human teenage girl named Jane. I don't know what feeling.

"Leon, is there something you want to tell us?" Jasper asked again while looking at me and Leon as well.

"Nothing, nothing at all." I said and Leon shifted his gaze downwards closing his eyes.

"Okay, I have something to say since we are all here now." Jasper said while looking at Chris then back at me. I nodded his head for him to continue with his words.

"We have to meet with that werewolf professor tomorrow. We have to make a deal with him if we plan to continue living in this town. It seems like he got angry and cleared it up. If we are his enemies, we have to clear up the misunderstanding." so things settle down." Jasper explained.

"But the hairy man is not wrong, we are not friends. Vampires and werewolf are not friends and can never be friends forever." replied Chris.

"True, but that doesn't mean we have to be enemies. Vampires and werewolf can coexist without fighting and that's what I want." Jasper said.

"Fine what if that's not what he wants? He looks like he's ready to fight today, you should have let me strangle him yesterday." Chris said taking his seat.

"I don't think he wants to fight us, he's probably just trying to protect his students from vampires like us." I said amidst them.

"Then we must understand that we are not a threat to the students." Jasper said and I nodded in agreement.

"Pufff... I think your plan will fail. No one can trust vampires and they have good reasons for that." Chris says.

"What reason?" Jasper asked.

"What do you have to believe that fresh meat will be safe in the tiger enclosure? Obviously they know it is our food and for that reason, no one is going to believe us." Chris replied with facts that immediately made Jasper and I silently looking for the right reasons to make a deal with the professor tomorrow.

Karen POV:

I came home from outside and went straight into the room, my mom and dad hadn't come home from work yet so the house really looked empty. Usually my mother would pick me up from a very different school than my father, who loved photographing his hunter work, so he rarely spent time with me as his daughter.

Jane also must have felt the same way I felt when she came home from school. But what makes Jane different is that she still has a father who still loves her very much. About Jane's mother, my father once told me that Jane's mother died not because of a car accident, but because she was bitten by a figure called Vampire. I'm not too sure about that because it's too absurd, I'm sure my father must be either lying about it or making it up. Maybe because of the obsession about the goal. I'm sure it is.

Oh yeah, I just got home from playing from Jane's house after all day talking about me sitting on the bench with Leon this morning, he doesn't look happy or annoyed maybe because Jasper also sits with Moer who seems really attached to him. arm crush. It was so cute, if I were Jane I probably would feel the same way about her.

I took my phone and started playing what is love? From one of the famous groups in korea, twice. I am a kpopers who loves all kpop groups without exception mainly because of the music that inspires me to create many stories.

Leon I can't stop imagining his sweet and cute face in his head and of course he looks so cold maybe because of his pale skin tone. Ughh... I think I'm going crazy now. His tiny face that looks so perfect, with his sweet smile eyes that are engraved sexy, and I still remember how his perfume smells like...

"Ahhh..." I took a deep breath trying to recreate the scent in my head.

I then jump on my bed grab my pillow and put it near my face, I smell it, it smells good but not as sweet as Leon's. I don't know, but something inside of me just wants Leon. I'm curious about everything about it.
