Chapter 2 02 : Murky University

Murky University:

Chris POV:

The three of us entered this university, it seemed more traditional compared to many of the schools or universities we went through. The university was huge, tall and wide... Never mind, no wonder Jasper said that this time's school was perfect for us, because we and this school were both old-fashioned, and looked outdated. But make no mistake, from what Leon himself read about something ancient, the selling price is much more expensive and more special than contemporary or modern items.

And that's us, compared to today's humans who can't do anything, we as ancient teachings are much more talented and most importantly much stronger and more powerful than those who are humans. I'm quite surprised why humans don't have vampire blood, right? I had to find out because of Jasper, and Leon didn't get an answer to my question, Leon said that my question was ambiguous which made me feel irritated with him.

My steps stopped, my eyes closed deliciously feeling the aroma of food around us, I could feel the rush of every human blood flowing warmly in every body. I opened my eyes, and I could see that all human eyes, whether male or female, were on me, I grinned widely, before Leon nudged my shoulder, removing my grin, I then looked at him.

" What's that?" I asked, quite confused because it was Leon who nudged me. Jasper who was beside Leon, he also looked at me.

"If you are like that everyone who sees you will think you're weird." Leon said that made my eyes bulge in annoyance at him.

" Okay." I said sullenly, and Leon immediately wrapped his arms around me, chuckling lightly.

"I know you're disappointed but come on this time, as usual we have to act normal like humans." Leon tried to comfort me, my youngest brother is very good at seduction.

"But for how long? I'm tired of us running around and disguising ourselves like this all the time." I said looking at them in turn, Leon was still looking at my face.

"I don't know for how long, but hiding in the mass of humans is the best thing we could do so far, thirty-five years Damien, and Region didn't find us, right after we put this plan into action." Leon said again, and again I could only grunt in annoyance.

"Jasper..."

"Leon right, Chris." Jasper replied coldly, continued on his way, Leon laughed again and we continued our steps following Leon's steps. I was so annoyed but I couldn't say anything because what the two of them said had some truth to it, Damien, and Region, two Vampires who were really terrible to us.

30 mins later:

Leon POV:

"I think it's a waste." Chris stopped again.

"Chris..." I whined.

"Oh come on, we keep repeating this year after year, I'm tired of reading books, studying in class, listening to teacher nonsense, I'm tired of all that, none of this deserves me." Chris protested, Chris has said this many times, to us but come on this is all for our good, I'm doing this for our safety. Yeah, to be honest if that was all my advice in the beginning, and Jasper doesn't protest like Chris when I make suggestions on what we should do, Jasper supports me because it's for our good but very different from Chris, he keeps saying this, saying that, but in the end he'll still follow us. We had a little game, so if two of the three of us agreed to something, then the one person who refused would have to come along to do the thing. Jasper had always supported me, and Chris kept rejecting my opinion, Chris said if what I suggested was too impossible for us vampires, 'Life amidst so much food?' That's what Crish always told us, and of course I kept joking around, unlike Jasper.

"So what do you want? You want your head cut off and then burned by them." Jasper said curtly, and I was just protecting a secret. It hurt to hear Jasper's tone and I know how Chris must be feeling right now.

"No, I'm not.. You know we are vampires, and living among humans is a very impossible thing for us to do, we have to live in the forest without faking who we really are." Chris tried to explain, and I just listened silently.

"Oh you mean to be an animal, of course I would like if I were similar to an animal, taking shelter among animals, but no... I'm even more similar to the thing you think of as food, and subconsciously you are also similar to the thing you consider food itself." Jasper quipped, and Chris was visibly frustrated by it, as if Chris was trying to normalize his emotions.

I tried to break the ice, taking Crish, and Jasper in both eyes, bringing them into my arms, "Hey, why? Not our family now."

They didn't answer, and that made them hesitate, then laugh.

"Oh come on, differences of opinion are normal, we just have to see from each other's side.. And we will understand, Chris was right in what he said, we are vampires, our food is blood, so it is very strange if we live among humans who have warm blood, however.. Jasper is also right, this is all we do for our safety, and I also noticed the same thing as what Jasper thought, we are doing this not only for our selfishness, but we are doing this for our safety together." I tried to explain to Chris, and he seemed to quite understand what I was saying, I also saw Jasper who smiled faintly.

"You know sometimes I look mean, but I didn't mean to hurt you." Jasper said while looking into the eyes of Chris who was now chuckling at him.

"Sorry for that, but as the oldest among you, I'm quite hurt when I have to be scolded like that." Chris told the truth about how he felt, and Jasper of course immediately apologized for that, yes to be honest in my view this is what Jasper is like, he is a rough and direct personality, much different from the cheerful Crish, and also outspoken so it looks childish. Their relationship wasn't that bad, if Chris and Jasper's relationship was this bad then I'm sure that we probably wouldn't feel comfortable living together for almost 100 plus years, well that's already that long.

"So what now, we've been around and I don't know how long it's been, I mean we still haven't found the room called the office." Chris said.

Of course, I heard that I realized, well, what now, are we lost? Oh yes, the obstacle in the first corridor we passed, with the same people? Are we only going in circles so far.

"Shall we ask?" I made a suggestion, as always it was me offering the opinion amidst Jasper's confusion, and Chris's.

"Oh, how about you do it." Jasper chimed in, grinning at me.

My face suddenly turned pale, yes among Jasper, and Chris indeed I was the friendliest to humans, but I still don't like humans, because of the insulating scent of their blood.

Chris walked around me, then stood next to Jasper who was still smirking, I already knew what he was going to say, "Yes, as the youngest in this family.. How about you ask office?"

I swallowed my saliva, his aura is really bad right now.

"Oh yes fine, if you can't, let me.." Jasper said, wanting to walk but I immediately stopped him.

"Okay, let me be." I said sullenly, Jasper, and Crish looked like he was laughing at me. I know that they both really like to seduce me.

I walked straight, looked around, and found a woman wearing glasses who was standing reading a wall magazine, not far from where the three of us were standing. The woman, her hands clutching her backpack, I smiled.

"Hey." I greeted, waving my hand.

The woman looked up at my face which was much taller than hers, she didn't answer my greeting.

I laughed awkwardly, trying to lighten the mood, "Hahaha.. You know, my two brothers and I wanted to find the office but we couldn't find it, can you help us?"

The bespectacled woman, with her thick curly hair, didn't answer me, her eyes were still staring at my face, which made my smile disappear far away. I was embarrassed to hide my doubts, looked around for anyone else I could ask but I couldn't find anyone suitable because everyone seemed to be spying on us.

"Okay, then I'll be going." I said with great hesitation, then left in front of the girl who was still frozen, what's wrong with her? I asked myself. I walked back towards Chris, and Jasper was already waiting for me.

Jasper POV:

"How? What did you get?" Chris asked, and Leon seemed to shake his head, I smiled.

"What's wrong with that girl?" I asked, it's funny with the frozen expression that the girl Leon asked about.

" She is weird." replied ignoring Leon, and I laughed at him, but not with Chris who was still staring at the curly-haired girl's face.

"What is it?" I asked confused, but Chris only replied with a smile, Leon face now also looked at Chris confused because it was not usual.

" It doesn't matter." Chris answered while laughing out loud.

"Okay, now you Jasper.. How about you ask them now." Leon said while giving me a light mocking grin, it was obvious that he was getting back at me.

"Leon is right, don't forget that Jasper." Crish was now standing next to Leon, giving him a mocking smile. Eh, what the heck, it wasn't Crish who was supporting me, but now.. I gave Chris a challenging look, then I also gave a grin but that was to Chris who seemed to be looking at me.

"Okay, you guys are right... But after me, then it's your turn." I said, walking away from the two of them and heard Leon's voice that seemed to be laughing at Chris. I know that Chris really hates the human race, and it is absolutely impossible for Crish to communicate with humans.

"Shit this isn't fair!" Chris swears.

"That's fair, you should do it." Leon replied laughing loudly.

I can hear it in the back, I look back, and I smile to find someone quite interesting there. The woman's head, looking down looking at the rectangular object. I better ask her, I thought and walked over to her.

Jane Pov:

I was busy walking down the corridor with my eyes busy reading people's comments about the photos I uploaded on Instagram, they were very funny and made me smile when I read the comments from them.

"Hey, hello..."

It was the deep voice of a man, it sounded so smooth and gentle.

I lifted my headgear to stare at him and to my surprise, he looked absolutely magnificent. With pale skin that is different from other people's skin, and red lips that I don't think was because of lipstick, as well as a very sharp gaze that might make anyone surprised and amazed to see it.

I must have never seen before at school, I will definitely remember a face like this. His face is so perfect, with orange hair that really suits him. His lips are very red, I mean very, very red but they still look natural. There was something in his eyes, as if they had just changed color and it made me look deeper into his eyes trying to make sure I was seeing...

"Hey, could you please help we're looking for the principal's office, scanning you gave us a lead as I think we have one in this great university." he meant and a few seconds passed before I realized he was in the middle of saying something.

"Y-yes... Of course, I can take you there." I stammered a little.

"Oh, thank you very much." He smiled at me and it made my cheeks blush red.

I saw two other people coming toward us, and that scared me even more.

"So Jasper, does she know where office is?" asked one of the tall guy with black hair, he looked very handsome, and firm, it made my heart flutter softly.

And another blonde haired man came from behind, and he stared, I seemed locked with that sharp gaze, he smiled faintly and it made my heart feel even more uncomfortable, just one word....

Wow!

The three of them amazed me even more.

They are so beautiful.

Are they human?

Ugh, I don't think so... They're angels, oh my god.

My mind kept on fighting, praising the beauty of the three angels who were now standing in front of me.
