Chapter 6 06 : Chris Anger

Once inside the house:

Chris POV:

"We just made a mistake, even today is filled with mistakes and very bad decisions!" I said angrily to my two brothers.

"What do you intend to do? Kill our Lecturer and classmates on the first day of school?" Jasper asked very, very curtly.

"We shouldn't have been going to school in the first place, and we should have stayed away from that trash human crowd." I said and turned to face Leon who was silent without saying anything.

"Don't feel grown up, you know I'm right. The fewer people who know our identity, the longer we can stay here. I'm tired of running, I'm tired of being chased by the two crazed vampires sent over by Queen Isabel who was ordered only to carry and kill what if someone finds out that we are vampires and spreads it in the news, it won't take long for the news to spread to Damien, and the Region. They will definitely find out and come after us again, and I won't I can imagine it. I even almost lost you two that day!" I tried to explain as briefly and clearly as possible, hoping they would both understand what I was thinking.

Leon paused then looked at me "But Jane is clueless." he says.

"She spying on us! Why is she spying on us if he doesn't know who we are?!" I asked trying to convince Leon.

"Maybe she saw me going into the woods and decided to follow me, she was just curious." Leon answered so easily.

"I really don't care what the problem is spying on us, the fact is she spying on us and she must have heard enough of what we were talking about with that werewolf monster." even though I persisted in my decision to kill that girl, her very existence could threaten our very existence.

"Come on! There's no way she could hear anything we discussed before, she so far away." Leon says.

"And how can you be sure about that?!" I snapped and Leon just frustrated him in his head.

"Why do you want to kill so badly, Hah!?" said Jasper in a loud voice and it made me angry.

Did he just insult me?!! Am I so childish in their eyes? My mind is on fire.

"Want to kill? You think I want to kill! You think I just want to kill and kill and then suck human blood?! I think you've grown up with your quiet nature, Jasper. You both know why I say this, don't you!" I said weakly at the end, I was really disappointed by Jasper's words just now.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have said that." Jasper said trying to calm me down.

"No! No! No! Let me speak, for I am already exhausted. I did my best to keep us safe but neither of you are listening to me. You two have always been taking sides recently to the point of neglecting my contribution as the eldest here!" I said in a hasty tone, obviously I was disappointed with their attitude.

"That's not true, nobody is taking sides. We're all trying to defend, we just don't want to make mistakes." Jasper said holding my shoulder.

I rolled my eyes lazily...

"What do you think happens if two dead people are in the papers and the morning news tomorrow? It will draw media attention to this big city and it's not good for us," Jasper said very calmly, and I stared at him for a moment before finally removing his hand roughly from my shoulder.

"People die every day, Jasper. We made a big mistake today. I can only hope that we don't regret the decision we made today." With a disappointed tone I turned and walked away following the wind.

Leon POV:

I saw Chris leave. He seemed angry and disappointed at me, and that made me feel bad for him.

"Don't worry, he will come back." Jasper said as he patted my shoulder.

I took a deep breath.

"What if he's right?"

Jasper glanced at me but no words left his lips and I didn't want to ask any further questions.

Jane POV:

In the room, at night.

I opened the assignment, then started looking for the camera in it. I want to see the footage I took during the day, the footage of Leon and his two brothers and Mr. Charlie in the woods.

Take the flashdisk and stick it in my laptop. Then my fingers started playing the keyboard looking for the contents of the video from the recording earlier. And got it..... I start the video by repeating from the beginning.

There is a little disappointment in me

The video starts.....

B-but why is there only mr. Charlie standing there alone? Where are Leon, Jasper and Chris? And why is there only mr. Charlie talking to himself?

This must be wrong...

I restarted the video but still no change. It freaked me out a little, so I chose not to replay the video. I put down my laptop and started lying on the bed. Monday, a very heavy day with strange events in it.

Mr. Charlie in his clothes.

A very unreal third brother in real life.

Impossible.

Today was very tiring and confusing.

I thought it was just my hallucination, or just my dream.

This could be the effect of being single for too long.

I have to sleep soon and get back to my real life.

The lights in my room were off, and there was only darkness accompanying my sleep.

The next day:

Leon POV:

I got out of the car followed by Jasper who also got out of the driver's seat. Today only me and Jasper came to school, I don't know where Chris went but I'm sure he will come back like Jasper convinced me. We walked down the hall past a group of teenage students and of course most of their eyes were on us.

I don't know about Jasper's feelings, but I think I'm getting used to the look in their eyes. When I was about to climb the stairs, my eyes accidentally saw a girl who was none other than Jane. She had never seen me and I don't think Jasper had ever seen her either.

I had to talk to her to make sure he didn't hear anything she should have heard....

"You can go, I'll be right back." I said to Jasper, and he stopped looking at me for a moment.

"Okay." he answered smiling, then continued on his way.

I really don't know why he smiled but I immediately smiled back before he finally turned around and continued walking towards class.

I shook my head, then walked over to Jane who was busy with her locker.

Jane POV:

"You know Zayn malik?" Karen, she asked the same question several times in this morning's question.

I shrugged because I really don't know what that name was, took some books from the locker and put some books in my bag, I was quite busy with my activities with Karen who was busy asking me about Zayn Malik? Malik Zain? Who's that?

"I don't know" I replied Karen with the same answer. Been so many times and Karen really can't accept the fact that I don't know them.

"Didn't you know?! He's a singer, handsome guy, and cool. My type. You should see because he's so hot and crazy with that face and those sexy lips." Karen said she was really excited to explain it to me and I just listened and answered as needed when she asked questions, I think she really likes people with sexy lips.

"Yeah sure, he's so cool you forget who the first love you met yesterday was." sarcastic me by organizing the books in my locker regularly.

With a frown Karen replied "Yeah because I realized I could never reach Zayn Malik so I went after Leon who was right in front of my eyes."

"You really are crazy to think like that, Karen." i tease.

"I just accept reality." Karen answered wisely and I just smiled to myself hearing her answer.

Still with my job.

"Oh my God! Jane, Jane, Jane!" he suddenly became more hyperactive by continuously calling my name while adding my shoulder to attract my attention who still can't take off her locker.

"He.."

"I know you can match your Zayn malik" I said without turning to look at him.

But she still kept rubbing my shoulder and calling my name.

"Jane, Jane, Jane..."

"What--" I turned around half screaming because I felt annoyed, but I had to bite my tongue when I saw Leon already standing right in front of me with that charming thin smile.
