Chapter 5 The twins was kidnapped

Victor's POV

I never thought that was the reason she wanted to call Javier and Guillermo. I thought Rias only wanted to discuss the incident an hour ago.

But she brings up that topic again. My heart starts to go around again, and I can't help but remember her face as she told me that we should get divorced. I can't believe Rias is serious about that topic.

"Raeden, Victoria, listens to mommy first. This is my idea. Mommy and daddy can't stay like this forever. I know that both of you understand the situation. Please forgive mommy for my decision."

"No! Mommy, no! I don't like Diana, and no one can replace you! Not in Daddy's life and everyone else's!" Victoria screamed.

I looked at Rias's expressions and saw pain in them. She didn't want this, but what is pushing her to do so?

Is it because I really treated her badly? I was just... Guiller and Javier glared at me. I know what they're telling me.

I stand up and approach the kids. But Raeden and Victoria suddenly raised their hands, telling me to stop walking closer. Raeden grabbed something inside his pocket.

Is that a talisman? He also has a lighter and burns the talisman. Before I can react or everyone reacts, they disappear.

"Oh shit. They used the teleportation talisman that I gave to them! Those kids, they're literally mad!" Lilith roars.

I turned around and caught Rias when I saw her knees trembling. She's still unwell because of the poison that her body endured while fighting those scumbags.

"Victor, the kids are mad at me. I made them cry," she whispers.

She passed out, and I let her sit on my lap. Rias seems to be mentally unstable as well. I saw it through her eyes.

Lilith raises her hand, and Rias opens her eyes. She turns her face into my chest and sobs like a baby.

"They're the last person that I want to hurt. I'm sorry, I'm sorry... I failed as their mother. I didn't mean to hurt them," she murmurs.

"I know. I saw how much you love them. Don't blame yourself. Did you know a place where they go when they're mad or sad?" I softly ask.

"A place..." Rias mumbles.

She closed her eyes, and we waited for her answer. She opens her eyes and stands up. I think she knows something.

"They always visit a certain waterfall in the mountain on the east side. That place was still part of our territory. Maybe they go there and visit their friend," Rias says. I look at Lilith, and she understands my signal.

"Alright, let's hope they're in that place!" Lilith says.

She snaps her finger and teleports the six of us. We all gasp and cover our faces by crossing our arms in front of us.

The water was floating, and the river was dried up. My eyes dilated when I saw a dragon. It was bleeding.

"Stop it already, Lunlun! You will only hurt yourself!" Victoria screams.

They're inside a water ball. This dragon has hands, similar to what the Chinese believe about dragons. She's pure white and has horns as well.

Even though her name was Chinese, Victoria called her Lunlun. When I looked on the north side, I saw a woman floating-she's the same person that I tried to chase.

That red hair, that black cape, and those red eyes! She's the one who sent those rogues to kill Rias. Rias suddenly used her power to control the wind, and we're all floating in the sky. Rias speaks.

"I knew it was you! You manipulated Alpha James, and she attacked me out of the blue. Your scent is telling me that you're my enemy! What do you want from me?! Stay away from my children!" she roars.

The mysterious woman laughs, and she looks at me. I remember what happened almost an hour ago.

I chased her on the west side of the mountains in our territory. I asked her name, but she didn't say it except for...

"Kill your wife if you don't want your pack to be the next target of annihilation. Bring me her head and I shall grant your wish!"

I didn't listen to her, and I tried to fight, but every time I tried to get closer, she used gravity to pin me to the ground.

She even cut me with a wind blade. I also used my power and created a fire tornado, but she dispersed the fire, and she used mind control to make me kneel. She's strong, but I used my abilities as an alpha to cancel her power.

"I will never betray the woman that I love! She will never die no matter what you do! Not on my watch!" I replied.

I dash towards her and attack her. She is jumping backwards but keeps attacking me using her wind blades. I created twenty silver swords and attacked her at once.

"I can cure your illness and grant your other wish. Just bring me your wife's head. I am not playing around. I will bring problems to your pack, and you will regret choosing her over my conditions!" she roars.

I snapped back to my senses when I heard a loud explosion. "Daddy, mommy! Protect Lunlun, please!" Raeden roared.

I look at the dragon, and she's bleeding everywhere. She was badly wounded. She must have been cut by this woman's winged blades.

The enemy was trying to take the water ball where the kids are. She is serious about her fucking threats.

"Stay away from my children!" I roared.

My eyes turned crimson, and the sky roared as I called thunder and lightning to attack her. She laughs.

"I told you. If you don't bring me your wife's head, I will take everything from you! Your children and your pack, bwahaha!"

Rias gasps, and I can sense that she's planning something. "If you want my head, then take it! Stay away from my family and our pack! Just kill me and let them go!" she screams. I knew it! Rias will say that shit!

"What the hell are you talking about?" I roared at her.

She looks at me with misty eyes. The kids were also surprised by what she said. She created a knife using the soil she manipulated. Rias placed it around her neck.

"I, Rias Olivar, reject you, Victor Ainsworth, as my mate," Rias says.

I gasp. My tattoo is burning because of her rejection. I look at the dragon, and she surrounds the water ball and protects the children. I think she understands what I want to say.

"I, Victor Ainsworth, will never accept your fucking rejection! Lilith!" I screamed.

She freezes Rias's body, and I grab that chance to hold her and destroy the knife she created. I look at her and smile sadly as I hug her.

"Don't be so stubborn," I whispered.

I let her know that I didn't want her to sacrifice herself. That woman in the black cape laughs loudly.

"You bring it yourself. Let's see if you can find your kids!" she says.

Another woman appeared. Lilith was alarmed, and she suddenly tried to go where the kids and dragons were, but the water ball disappeared. Rias screams and she even passed out because of it. My palm turns into a fist.

"I will kill you no matter where you go!" I screamed.

The dragon started to fall, and the water of the river came back. Lilith created a barrier as the water splashed from a great height. Elena suddenly smirks and laughs.

"There's no way... that we will hand over our Luna and the kids to a woman who only fights secretly? You gotta be kidding me," Elena says and smirks devilishly.

Her purple eyes were blazing with anger and excitement. I look at Rias. I shed the tears in her eyes and cursed.

"FUCK! Bring the wounded dragon and let's go back in the mansion. I will surely hunt that bitch! But first, Rias needs to rest. We will rescue the kids wherever they are!" I roared. Guillermo and Javier smirked as well.

"Of course we will," Javier says.

Lilith dived into the water as we stayed floating because of her power. When she came back, she was carrying a woman behind her back.

She looks like a teenager. Lilith snaps her finger, and we are back in the mansion. The butlers had cleaned the mess, and yet my anger deep inside will overflow anytime soon.

The main door opens. It was Aunt Nina and Diana. They will never stop until I give them what they don't want to hear. My aunt looks damn mad.

"What just happened there?! That was you, right? What the hell is going on and why are we being attacked?" Aunt Nina roared loudly.

"The twins are kidnapped, and someone wants Rias to be dead. Now that I answered your question, move away," I coldly answer.

She scoffs, and I knew my aunt had something more to complain about. It's been two years since my parents died, and all I did was follow her because she's my aunt.

She became my second parent, but things became worse because of my stupid decision. It only brings a deeper wound to Rias.

"Victor, I think Rias had done something. They're after her head, and now they kidnapped the kids! I also heard what she did to Alpha Nicholas's members. She must be hiding something!" Diana exclaimed.

"I don't care if she did something. They won't get away from this!"

"I already told you that she's unfit to be the Luna, and you should've kicked her out of this pack. She's useless, and now we are in danger because of her incompetence!" Aunt Nina added.

Elena was about to attack them when Guiller stopped her by extending his hand in front of her.

I look at Rias. She was right when she told me that our marriage was nothing but a seemingly perfect relationship, but we've been a broken family ever since.

That night changed everything, and I became a bastard for the past six years. I know. I've hurt her so much, and I feel stupid and useless because of that. Maybe it's time to man up for this.

"Are you telling me to turn my back on Rias and my children?" I ask.

"Victor, don't tell me you will listen to them?!" Javier roared at me.
