Chapter 4 The twins learns the truth

Rias's POV

I look around. It was so dark, and I couldn't see anything. All of a sudden, a spotlight appeared, and Victor was there. He was kneeling on the ground and bleeding heavily.

"Victor!" I screamed.

I was ready to run towards him, but I can't move my feet. I was frozen in place.

"Rias..." Victor calls my name softly.

That was the first time he called me softly. He smiled and looked away. My eyes dilated as my world stopped.

He was stabbed by hundreds of swords right in front of my eyes. My tears fall, and the next thing I do is run towards him.

I held his face and looked at him. "Victor, no! No!" I screamed.

He raised his hand and held my face. He was bleeding, and I could hear his heartbeat fading.

"I'm sorry, Rias," he murmured.

He closes his eyes, and his heart stops beating too. I shook my head and shook his head softly while tapping his cheeks. He's not breathing anymore. My husband is dying! No!

I heard a loud laughter and only saw those glowing crimson eyes staring at us as she enjoyed watching us. Where is she? Who is this woman?

"Who are you?! Why did you kill my husband?! Answer me!" I roared.

"He will die. Everyone around you will die right in front of your eyes!"

She laughs like a devil. "Victor! No! Victor!" I screamed and got up.

Then suddenly, a headless man cut off his head, and it rolled towards my feet. That's why I cried and then screamed his name. "Mommy?!"

I look at Victoria, who called me. My children are beside me, and they're holding my hand. They look so worried.

"Mommy! I'm glad you're awake!" Raeden says. They both hugged me tightly. I hugged them back.

"You're lucky because your blood was trying to cleanse the poison that enters your body. That elixir and Victor's blood don't help you either. The poison is totally gone in your system," Javier says.

Something flashes in my head. I started blushing. I remember how I pushed Victor into bed and drank his... blood! What the fuck! Why did I do that? Oh my gosh!

"I wonder if Alpha Victor had calmed himself," Elena murmurs. I look at her. She's not lying, though. What happened? I remember James.

"Where's Victor?" I ask.

Lilith raises her hand, and the door opens. Guillermo came in right away. He looks at Lilith and Javier.

"Javier, can you take care of the mess downstairs? It's been ten minutes and Victor is not yet here. I notice that he feels something from a distance. He told me not to follow him, but I have a bad feeling about it."

"What? Why did you let him go all alone?" Javier says. I stood up.

"What direction did he go, Guiller? Tell me!" I commanded.

He finally notices that I'm awake. He looks hesitant, but I glared at him madly.

"He went to the mountain. I notice a certain aura, and it gives me terrifying chills," Guiller says. I started walking away. I even lost my balance.

"Rias, you're not yet in good condition. Stay here," Lilith remarks.

"Victor... I have to find him!" I roared.

I run and still lose, and I almost trip myself. Yes, I am not yet stable. I can't even use my superspeed.

I knew they followed me until we reached the place where I fought against the wolves that attacked us. Diana and Nina glared at me.

I knew they were blaming me for what happened, but I don't care! I need to see Victor. They stop approaching me when Victor arrives.

Our eyes meet. "Oh my gosh, Victor! What happened?!" Diana says.

She starts walking toward Victor. I run as fast as I can, and Diana is surprised when I pass through her. I went straight to Victor and embraced him tightly. I started crying.

"I'm glad you're okay. I'm glad you're safe, Victor..." I murmured while sobbing.

I was fucking scared. I knew something was wrong when James and those wolves attacked me.

They're like zombies, or should I say someone has been controlling them just a few miles from here?

I also noticed that presence, but when James told me about the bomb, I chose to save everyone rather than chase the real culprit.

I raise my head and look at him. He had a fight with whoever that person was. His clothes were ripped and tainted with his own blood.

I suddenly remember what I did. I was about to distance myself when he carried me in his arms and looked at me with a gentle expression in his eyes.

He held me tighter, and Victor's breath was tickling my neck and ears. What's wrong with my husband? "You're awake... I'm glad you've regain your consciousness," he whispers. I blush.

But more than that, I can feel Diana and Nina's mad eyes staring at me as if they want to burn me into ashes. I heard claps and giggles from the twins.

"Yey! Daddy and mommy are so sweet!" they both say.

I saw how Victor's face turned red. Wait a second. Is he flustered just like me? Victor walks away and doesn't give Diana a chance. I know she wants to say something, but we only pass through them.

"Guiller and Javier, take care of things here," he commanded.

They only salute him and stay in the garden. Elena and Lilith, who were holding the twins, followed us. But I was more surprised when the door he opened was in his room!

"Victor, this is not my room. My room is on the west wing of your mansion," I commented. Lilith locks the door. He put me on his bed.

Even once, I haven't seen my own husband's room. Yes, we stayed in separate rooms. Mine were on the East Wing, and his was on the West Wing.

His room was so wide, and it smells just like him! He loves pale blue colors, and the interior was great. I was about to leave his bed when he glared at me.

I didn't move and just stayed in bed. The two ladies put the kids on my right side. They also settle in bed but face me.

I raise my hand and caress their faces. Raeden and Victoria were the light of my life. They're the reason why I keep myself strong while staying here.

Victor looks at them too. Elena and Lilith are seated on the couch, which is three meters from here. But I noticed how Elena smiled naughtily.

"Mommy, are you sure you're okay?" Victoria asks. I simply nodded.

"Mommy is okay, sweetheart. The two of you shouldn't worry about me. You two should've been sleeping at this hour, but look at you guys. I'm sorry if mommy made you worry," I whispered.

They both shook their heads and showered my face with little kisses. This is the reason why I keep holding on to my seemingly perfect marriage.

How can I let go of this family? Victor is about to leave the bed when Raeden speaks.

"Daddy, can you sleep with us too? Lay down beside mommy. We never sleep together even once," Raeden requested. Victor looks at me.

How can Raeden ask for such a request? It's so embarrassing! I haven't slept with him even once!

I think I smell bad now because of blood and sweat! I was about to decline when I saw the twin's puppy eyes.

"Okay. But you two should sleep now. Like your mommy says, it's already late at night," Victor says.

He lay down beside me. He was facing me, and I didn't know if I should turn around too and face the kids. He stretches his hands and hugs us. Is he taking advantage of this?

'Elena and Lilith are here! Did he forget about them? Oh my goodness!'

Victor starts tapping Raeden's back. His long and broad arms even reach our son's back. He slowly hums as well.

His baritone and deep voice were so calming that I felt so sleepy as well. But I have to fight it.

After five minutes, the kids seem to be sleeping soundly. I just sense it.

"Can we talk about something with them? Tell Lilith to call Javier and Guiller," I whispered.

Victor nodded and jumped off the bed first. I slowly got up and followed my husband. The two ladies were busy browsing their social media accounts. They put down their phones, and Lilith speaks first.

"I already called them through telepathy. They'll come here shortly."

The door opened, and Diana and Nina were with them. Lilith raised her hand, dragged the two boys in, and slammed the door in those two ladies faces.

"Lilith, that's rude," I stated.

She just shrugged her shoulders as if it were nothing important. She can be rude anytime she wants. Victor speaks.

"Lilith, I want you to make the room soundproof. I don't want my aunt and Diana to hear whatever conversation we have here," he says.

"Understood, alpha Victor. Your wish is my command," Lilith says.

She snaps her finger, and I know Lilith followed his order. Guillermo and Javier take their seats and look at us. "I feel a little nervous because the two of you want the four of us as an audience," Javier says.

"This is an important matter, everyone. I ask Victor for divorce," I said.

"What in the fucking bastard! Did I hear it right? Did you just say divorce, Rias?" Elena reacts first. The other three were left in awe.

"Yes. I am asking him for divorce. I know all of you notice that Victor ignores me and we just act when we are together for certain occasions. Plus, Nina is right. Diana is more suitable to be the luna of this pack."

"Wait a minute. You are asking for divorce just because Nina told you that Diana is better? How about us? Have we seen it that way?" Lilith says. I know they trust me, but I'm afraid of others. I sighed.

"Look. This is for the best. Plus, someone is aiming my head. I can't drag Fuego Mist in this mist. That's why my decision was for the best. I will be divorcing Victor and rejecting him as my husband and mate."

"Mommy, you're divorcing dad?" Raeden says.

We turn around, and I turn pale when I see my children's expression. They're awake...?!

"Mommy... we heard it right, aren't we?" Victoria asks.
