I exhale, exhausted from all the work done. I for one, can't wait to get out of this shop reeking of werewolf and gossip. Aaron pauses at the counter where I stood taking order for the customers while smiling because it's part of my job.

"Are you free tomorrow night darl" He asks while flashing me that smile which would have got any girl wiling at his feet and that he wants agreeing but it just doesn't work for me.

The last thing I would do is to get involved with a werewolf, I can't even see it in a thousand years.

I frown at him letting him know very clearly that I am displeased with the idea of going out with him.

"Try someone else. Do you always have to try and get rejected every time" I answer him bluntly and remove my apron.

I mean looking at Aaron, he is everything a girl will want in a man. He is handsome, youthful and caring but that one Werewolf factor has quenched his name in my good books.

"Why? Because I am a werewolf? I see the way you look like you're disgusted and brush off every werewolf who shows interest in you. Are you worried about mating? Not to worry my, mate rejected me so I am free to mate with anyone especially and including a human" He explains.

"Your explanation does not change a thing and as for worrying about your mate? Not to worry, I am not bothered" I answered him with my usual offhanded voice before finally walking into Elyssa's office.

"What now? What do you want again" Elyssa asks with her usual not so kind voice. She didn't even spare me a glance. I hate their smelling instincts sometimes.

I'm definitely going to do my revenge on her before leaving for College. But let's just keep calm for the main time.

"I came to let you know I will be leaving a bit early before Alpha Damien's guards parade the town..." I report

"Yeah... Like I care now sign the log book and you're excused" She orders me without even glancing my way.

I quickly sign the workers log book and walk out of the shop. I feel so tired and so refreshed to step out of that shop and I can't wait to get home and have a nice soaking and a very nice sleep.

I spot a Ice cream shop and decide to have one.

"Crystal, you've worked so hard today and you deserve to give yourself a treat" I tell myself while grinning.

I crossed over and walk in. The entire shop is packed with different ranks of wolves in a meeting, whatever kind of meeting they hold everyday. As I walk in, every creature in the room turn around to look at me. Sone were openly glaring, while some were literally growling. The days of being scared of them is over.

Yeah. None of you scare me no more.

"One big cup of ice cream please" I tell the lady behind the counter what I want to order.

"You're human right? I can smell it miles away. You're so brave too you know? Humans don't come here since they are scared of werewolves. You might want to get out of here as soon as you can. Werewolves don't seem to like your kind..." The lady says to me.

I rolled my eyes as she passes me the Big tub of Ice cream. I pay the money and turn around while trying to cover the big tub after stealing a spoon out of it.

Just then, I hear everyone gasp. Then my Ice cream tub falls on the floor after it splashed on someone.

Shit. What a crappy day. It just had to splash on someone's suit.

I looked up and my breath caught in my throat. Now, in front of me is a very fine werewolf specimen. He is definitely the most good looking man on earth but too bad he is just another werewolf.

He wasn't even reacting just openly glaring at me. Then, another fine male werewolf beside him speaks up.

"You're human" He states as a matter of fact.

"Yes I am." I turn towards the guy I splashed my ice cream on.

"I'm sorry for splashing my ice cream on you but it's only manners you don't walk so close to anybody. You were too close to me and that's why the ice cream splashed on you. So in that case, can I get a refund because you were the one who wasn't looking."

The lady that attended to me rushed forward

"Alpha! I am sorry for this debacle" She said fear filled and trembling.

"Mate" The Alpha suddenly growled making everyone quiet.
