Alisa had no intention of staying here any longer but as she was about to leave, Alpha Killian roared "Stop right there Alisa!"He had been fuming because he was ignored by the Alpha king and his brother while his younger brother's bitch of a daughter got special attention from the both of them.Alisa was forced to stop because it was an act of treason to blatantly disobey the Alpha and she was not willing to give him the chance to hurt her.Turning to face him, she asked with a mocking smile "What can I do for you Alpha?"The smile on her face irritated him to the bones, he stormed forward to attack her when Gabriel got in his way."What exactly are you planning to do Killian?" he spat out in disdain. He might not care much about Alisa, but he cared a lot about his reputation.Gabriel hitting Alisa in front of him was an invisible slap to the face and he would not tolerate it for anything."Get out of my way!" Killian growled in displeasure. This was his territory, and his honor would be tarnished if he tolerated a fellow alpha disrespecting him here. They both stared daggers at each other but didn't dare to make a move as Jordan and Jason were standing at the top of the stairs.Alisa couldn't bear to stand there for much longer and walked out of the door without sparing them a glance. She ran and ran until she stood by the lake. This was her safe heaven, she found this place after her mom died and since then, she would always come here when she wanted to escape from the rest of the world. She felt safe here.Staring at the lake was not doing much to help her so she decided to enter the water. She quickly undressed herself and got into the water. The water was ice cold and that was exactly what she needed. Her mind kept on drifting to their handsome faces, their smooth pink lips and the way their hands felt on her skin. She soon found herself unable to breathe and quickly got out of the water lying on the floor and panting heavily. It was no doubt that they had unlocked a beast in her that was fighting to be fed what it wanted but she was rational enough to know that she couldn't give in.A part of her wanted to just pack up and leave today but the blood moon ritual was tomorrow, and she had no idea if she would be able to shift if she doesn't take part in the ritual.'Okay, let's play alongside them. Just ask for an extra day and after the shift, run and never come back' she thought with a smile and soon felt herself relaxed. For a weird reason, her wolf had been quiet for some time but that was no issue for her. All that mattered now was fleeing this pack. She had no plans of going home today because she didn't want to run into Gabriel, but she had not had much to eat today, and she was famished so she had to go home around 10pm.Arriving at the front of her house, she found Jason and Jordan standing in front of her house agitated."Where on earth were you?!" Jordan screamed at her the moment he saw her."I don't think that has anything to do with you" she replied before walking into her house. She was surprised when they both came in after her."What the hell are you doing?" she asked in confusion as she stared at the stone faced duo. She felt aggrieved at how much effort the moon goddess must have out in sculpting such perfect men."We'll be staying here tonight" Jason replied, but his usual smile was gone, and he seemed very serious."Why on earth would you do that?" she asked in annoyance wishing she could beat some sense into them but sadly they were Lycan's, and her powers were nothing compared to theirs."To keep an eye on you" Jordan said not bothering to hide his real intentions. They had sent one of their guards to keep an eye on her for them, but she managed to disappear from his sight. When they both heard this, Jordan suddenly had the feelings that she might have fled giving the time she was given. Given the chance he would have tied her up in his bed at the pack house and forcefully take her home once the summit was over, but Jason had other ideas.Taking a violent approach would make her hate him and even though he didn't really mind, things would be a lot easier if she chose to come on her own accord.Alisa was furious when she heard that they were there to keep an eye on her, so she thundered "And what is that supposed to mean?""Relax love, we are here just to make sure you are safe" Jason replied with a sickly sweet smile that made the hair on her back stand. She wanted to tell them that she had been protecting herself quite well since the death of her mother, but she had no strength to argue so she just ignored them and walked to the kitchen to cook up some food.Jason smiled happily when he saw her walking away without insisting, they leave. He believed that she was the perfect girl for them not just because she was their fated mate but because she was interesting.Unlike most girls, she isn't greedy for the title of queen and that was a relief. He thought that even though she acts like she doesn't like them, it doesn't mean she hates them but rather, she doesn't think she could trust them.As long as Jordan reigned in his beast and followed his idea, he believed it won't be too hard to win her over. Although it wasn't part of his plan to sleep here tonight, he thought it was a bonus. She won't be able to sleep well and will thereby think of them a lot.The wilder his imagination ran, the more excited he became. It would be impossible for him to sleep tonight but he didn't mind. He was enjoying this game very much. Alisa warmed up some leftover noodles and ate them alone. She didn't bother to ask the brothers if they would eat since they were uninvited guests, and she didn't have the energy to cook for anyone. They were quite disappointed and annoyed, especially because they missed their dinner. They were busy looking for her and had completely forgotten about food.Thankfully, one of their guards brought some food for them so they didn't have to go hungry.Alisa slept like a baby much to her surprise that night. This displeased both Jason and Jordan but they couldn't punish her for having a good night rest. While they stayed awake the whole night, Alisa slept in and only woke up around 9 am.It was the safest she ever felt since her mothers passing, and it warmed her heart."What would you like to have for breakfast?" Alisa asked when she walked into the living room. She felt grateful and was in a good mood because she had a fantastic night."Anything" Jason happily replied, his early displeasure vanishing into thin air.Jordan frowned at his reply but didn't say anything, He was a very picky eater but since he perceived Alisa's smile and her willingness to talk to them on her own accord and even feed them as progress, he didn't mind eating anything.
