I shook my head firmly because the ghost's figure was nowhere to be seen.
We were silent for a long time, when suddenly the feeling that hit me yesterday, I now feel again. The cold, goosebumps, and pain in my head are the same as yesterday. Besides that, this time I also heard strange noises in this place. I strain my ears and I'm sure the strange sound is coming from the roof. I slowly looked up, how surprised I was when I saw the ghost that was yesterday, crawling on the ceiling. I'm scared not to play. I tried to back up, but unfortunately, I caught my own feet until I fell flat on the floor.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"
Mrs. Angie who saw that I was scared, also squatted down and hugged me who was lying on the floor.
"Did you see it?" she asked, panicking too when she heard my scream.
"Y- yes. She was crawling on the ceiling."
Mrs. Angie looked up in the direction I was pointing, from her normal expression, it seemed that she had not seen the ghost.
Now, I saw the ghost flying and hovering right in front of me. What scared me even more, the ghost stared at me intently. She floated closer to me until she was standing right in front of me. The ghost was seen kneeling and stretching its arms toward me.
"Nooooo... nooooo... don't hurt me...!!!"
I screamed hysterically, and at the same time, I felt Mrs. Angie tighten her arms. The ghost hand got closer to me and finally landed on top of my head. The ghost was touching my head. The pain in my head was so tormenting me. Until the next second the pain slowly disappeared, replaced by a strange incident that happened to me like a miracle.
A dazzling light suddenly appeared, the light slowly faded and I could see a scene there. I'm sure I'm standing in a class, this class is similar to my class, but I'm sure this is not my class because I don't recognize some of the students who are in this class at all. My question now is why am I in this place? Even though I was sure that I was in that creepy toilet with Mrs. Angie.
I looked at the faces of the students in the class one by one until I realized something. I saw one of the students whose face was quite familiar. The student was a girl, her long flowing hair. Has a very pretty face. I'm sure I've seen that face before. I racked my brain, trying to remember where I'd seen her before until I finally realized something.
The girl's face ... I believe is the face of the ghost in the toilet. It's true that the ghost's face now is different from the face I saw in the toilet, the ghost's face that I saw in the toilet was covered with blood and her skin was very pale. But the face of the ghost standing in front of me now was completely different, it was like that of a living human. Seeing this made me even more surprised.
"Heh... Susan. Come with us for a bit!"
"What is it?"
"Hurry along!"
Two girls who are classmates of the ghost that I just found out are named Susan, forcing her to come with them. Susan looked to refuse but the two girls viciously grabbed Susan's hair and forced her to follow them. I tried to prevent them, tried to touch them but what happened stunned me. I can't touch them, my body penetrates their body as if my body is transparent. What happened?
All I can do now is follow them from behind.
They took Susan to a toilet which I believe is the one where I met Susan's ghost. However, there is a big difference in these toilets. The toilet I go to now looks clean and smells good. It's very different from the condition of this toilet when I first visited, this toilet is very dirty, with lots of cobwebs and the smell is very smelly. What happened here? Can I go back in time?
"Quickly give us your money!!!"
"I don't have any money anymore. Every day you guys always ask me for money even though you come from a wealthy family, what do you want?"
"How dare you say that to us, do you think we don't know that you are an entertainer whose job is accompanying uncles?"
"That's not true, why are you slandering me like this?" Susan was crying, but the two girls continued to corner her with various scathing remarks.
"If you don't want this news to spread, quickly give us your money!!!"
"Really. I have no money anymore. I'm not lying!!!"
The two girls treated Susan very cruelly. One of them grabbed Susan's hair and slapped her several times.
"Jessica ... you are too cruel. Poor her." scolded one of the girls.
"Why should a cheap girl like her be pitied? She doesn't deserve pity."
The girl I just found out was named Jessica, kept beating Susan. Without mercy, she pushed Susan so hard that her head hit the wall. It seemed that Susan's impact was so hard that blood was coming out of her head. Susan collapsed to the floor with her head covered in blood.
"Jess ... lest she dies."
"Try there you check Ann !!"
The girl named Ann followed Jessica's words. She approached Susan who was lying on the floor, then checked Susan's pulse and breathing.
"How's Ann? She's still alive right?" Jessica asked, looking start to panic.
Ann didn't say anything, her eyes widened and her face turned pale.
"Ann...!!!" Jessica, who couldn't wait, snapped.
"Jess ... she's dead ... she's not breathing."
"W-what?"
"How about this, Jess? I don't want to go to jail."
"What are you talking about, how can we go to jail?"
"But she's dead, Jess. You killed her."
"Shut up. Not only me but you are also involved. Because we both brought her here. You also torture her every day, don't you?"
"I had to. I came because you asked me." Ann desperately dodged.
The debate between them never subsided. They blamed each other and glared at each other. Until the party that finally averted their eyes was Jessica. She turned to look at Susan's dead body.
"Never mind. Nothing will happen, everything will be fine."
"What should we do?"
Jessica was seen taking her cell phone and calling someone.
"Hello, Mr. James. Come quickly to school. Bring shovels, bricks, and cement as well... don't ask too many questions... come here quickly... right now!!!"
Hearing Jessica's conversation with the person named James on the phone just now, I can guess what Jessica is planning.
"Hey, Ann. You watch over the toilet?"
"Huh? why?"
"Of course just in case. Don't let a single person enter this place, you understand?"
Ann nodded and hurried away as instructed by Jessica.
Not long after, a middle-aged man came. As I had expected. Jessica ordered Mr. James to dismantle the toilet wall, he put Susan's body behind the wall. Then, the wall was covered again with bricks, and cement and given the same paint as the other walls, so that people could not realize that behind the wall was Susan's body which was buried.
All night they were in the toilet, hiding Susan's body behind the wall, their actions were truly inhumane.
Strange things happened to me again, suddenly I felt my surroundings shake and my vision started to blur. Reflex I closed my eyes and when I slowly opened my eyes again, now I see another sight. I was on a lonely road. Here the time shows a night, the sky is very dark. I don't understand why I can be in this place.
After that, I saw someone crossing this deserted street, as soon as I saw that person's face, I was very surprised because the person walking was Ann. She seemed agitated, every so often she would look back. Not long ago, Ann suddenly shouted. She ran fast. At first, I didn't understand Ann's behavior. However, when I looked in the direction Ann had been staring at earlier. I began to understand why Ann was running and screaming in fear. I saw Susan's ghost standing up, I'm sure Ann saw Susan's ghost too, that's why she ran and screamed so loudly.
Once again I felt my surroundings sway and just like before my vision started to blur. This time I didn't close my eyes, I kept my eyes open as wide as possible. I wonder what will happen next.
And things like before repeated as if they had moved places because now I was in a different place from the last place I was. Right now it's not the dark atmosphere of the night on a quiet street, but I'm in a bright room because of the light. If you look at the objects in this room, there's no mistake that I'm in a room. I don't know whose room this is. My question was answered as soon as I saw Jessica's figure enter this room, she climbed up the bed, getting ready to sleep. It turns out that this is Jessica's room. I thought again, why am I here? Until this second I still do not understand what is happening to me.
There was nothing I could do but pay attention to Jessica. She looked very restless and seemed to be having trouble sleeping. She curled up and covered her body with the blanket to cover her head. Suddenly she screamed and got up from the bed. She ran in fright, intending to get out of the room but struggled to open the door. I was surprised by Jessica's behavior until I finally understood the situation she was in when I saw the blanket Jessica was wearing earlier suddenly expand, slowly but surely continuing to expand like a human. The blanket floated in the air and then suddenly fell to the floor. From under the blanket emerged the figure of a woman with a face covered in blood. Yes, that woman is none other than Susan's ghost.
The terrifying ghost of Susan hovered in the air, approaching the terrified Jessica by the door. Susan's ghost got closer to Jessica until her face was right in front of Jessica's. Jessica who was very scared screamed.
"Don't kill me... don't kill me!" she asked with tears in her eyes.
Susan's ghost put her hands around Jessica's neck as if she meant to strangle her. Of course, I couldn't possibly stay silent watching that, I ran intending to approach Jessica. However, suddenly an extremely bright light appeared before my eyes, causing me to be unable to see around.
"Leslie... Leslie... LESLIE...!"
I heard someone calling my name, slowly opened my eyes and what I found was Teacher Angie who was already in front of me.
"Where is this?" I rolled my eyes, looking around.
"Where? In the toilet of course. Did you forget we're investigating ghosts in this toilet? suddenly you lost consciousness, what happened? You're okay right?"
Turns out it was true I was back in the toilet. Had I returned to the present after visiting Susan's past before she died?
I'm still confused about what just happened to me.
"Leslie, what happened? Tell me!"
I looked at Mrs. Angie's face who looked worried for me. I thought there was no reason to keep this a secret, and without hesitation, I told Mrs. Angie everything. Not a single thing was missed, I told everything to Mrs. Angie.
"So it seems. Susan has shown you her past." Angie argued after hearing my story through.
"Was there such a thing?"
"Of course, there is, the proof is that you just experienced it yourself. Maybe this is the cause of her spirit being restless and unable to return to her world. She feels she hasn't gotten justice."
"What shall we do now, Mrs?"
"We have to find out about the two women who killed Susan. Let's go!!!"
Without telling me the purpose, Mrs. Angie ran away from me. Out of curiosity, I followed her. Mrs. Angie kept running until she stopped when she arrived in front of a room. If you look at the nameplate posted on the door, it looks like this is the principal's room. Angie entered the room, and so did I.
Inside the room, an old man who I estimated to be in his 70s was sitting in his chair.
"Excuse me, Mr. Headmaster. Sorry for disturbing your time." Politely, Angie greeted.
"Ooh, Miss Angie. What's up coming to see me?"
Mrs. Angie told the principal everything I told her earlier. From the Headmaster's enthusiastic reaction, it seemed that he believed what Mrs. Angie said.
The headmaster looked like he was looking for something, then he brought a very thick book and gave it to Mrs. Angie.
"From now on keep this book in your place." He said while holding out the book to Mrs. Angie.
"What book is this, sir?"
"A book that contains all the biodata of students who have studied at this school."
"Is it okay if I keep this book?" Angie looked hesitant to accept the important book.
"You need it more. I believe in you. The two of you must be able to unravel all the mysteries and be able to restore order to this school. I fully trust both of you."
Mrs. Angie and I looked at each other for a moment. I nodded as a signal for Mrs. Angie to accept the book. Understanding my sign, Mrs. Angie finally said goodbye to the Principal by taking along the student biodata book in her arms.
We sat on the loungers in the school garden today. My heart was pounding fast when Mrs. Angie started to open her book. That's right, in the book, there is a student biodata complete with photos.
"Biodata on Susan and the two women must be in this book."
I also think with Mrs. Angie, so I just stay silent, can't wait to find.
Page after page of the book was opened with slow movements by Mrs. Angie. I paid close attention to the photos of the students I saw on each page. Unknowingly I chuckled impatiently because I had not found the photos of the three people. When I arrived at the next page that Mrs. Angie opened, I immediately held Mrs. Angie's hand. The photo on the page looks familiar. I look again and a sigh of relief escapes my mouth when I realize the photo is of Susan.
"Here she is Susan. She enrolled in this school about three years ago." I say happy not playing.
"Then the two women who killed her must be not far from this page of her bio."
Mrs. Angie and I slowly opened page after page close to Susan's bio page. Until finally I found a photo of Jessica and Ann, and finally, their biodata was found.
"Here they are, Mrs. Jessica and Ann," I said while pointing at the two biodata that was indeed on adjacent pages. Mrs. Angie read their biodata right away.
"You're right. They're Susan's classmates. They have their home phone numbers listed here, let me find out. It's late, you go home Leslie."
"Is it okay for you to find out yourself?" there is a feeling of reluctance to hand over this matter to Mrs. Angie, even though I know the truth best. Although I can not deny it, I was tired and wanted to go home quickly.
"It's okay. You've helped a lot. Well, let me take you home."
There was no other choice for me, but to obey Mrs. Angie's words. Finally, I went home by riding in Mrs. Angie's car. On the way, without me asking, Mrs. Angie was kind enough to buy me food. Yes, I consider this as a gift from her because I have helped her investigate Susan's ghost.
Arriving at the apartment, I immediately ate the food Mrs. Angie gave me because my stomach was already screaming and begging to be filled. After cleaning myself, there's nothing I do anymore besides lying down on my soft bed. Until finally I fell asleep because of tiredness that was so excruciating.
