Chapter 7 Music or Married

Hearing Georgis's scream, Laura woke up instantly. She rubbed her eyes which were still heavy from sleep.

"What's wrong, Auntie?? Why are you shouting??"

"T--there was a va--vampire here," Georgia stammered, her heart racing.

"Vampire?? Auntie had a dream. There is no a vampire here." Laura thought Georgia was making this up.

"Well, if you don't believe it, the vampire will bite your neck,"said Georgia.

"Ouch, it gives me goosebumps." Laura pressed her body against Georgia.

"Fortunately, Auntie sleeps here, otherwise you would have been sucked in blood like in the movies," replied Georgia, "Here, Auntie hug so you won't be afraid anymore."

"I am afraid the vampire will appear again," said Laura while looking around the room.

"Let's sleep, tomorrow morning you want to go to campus." Georgia hugged her niece, but she also felt the same way with Laura.

"I don't know if I am going to campus tomorrow or not, I feel terrorized by the creature," said Georgia.

"Alright, don't worry about it Laura."

Laura and Georgia went back to sleep after something quite tense had happened earlier, while Alexander laughed with satisfaction in his heart for having managed to frighten both of them.

"I will be right back, Laura," He muttered.

The next morning, Laura felt lazy to go to campus due to Alexander's appearance last night, the life she had been living quietly suddenly became chaotic in an instant.

Laura fell ill due to extreme stress and fear.

Today, all the residents of the house were excited by Kinara's story about the cruel vampire. Vienna and Wallace listened to every word of Georgia without flinching a bit.

"Good Morning everyone," said Georgia who looked fresher than the previous day.

"Good Morning, have you recovered?" asked Vienna.

"Yes, Sis," answered Georgia.

"Good, then this afternoon I can take you for a walk to mall." Vienna smiled widely.

"I am sorry, I can't come with you. I have to accompany Laura, she is sick," explained Georgia.

"Laura is sick? I will go to Laura's room, Vienna said to Wallace.

"After breakfast, Vienna. Let her rest in her room."

"Last night, I slept with Laura then suddenly we were visited by a terrible creature," said Georgia while spreading strawberry jam on her bread.

"What creature do you mean?" Wallace asked curiously.

"Vampire." the answer is flat but the look on her face looked very scared.

"Va--vampire? Do vampire really exist in this world? Hmm... I don't believe in such things." Wallace thought Georgia was making up stories.

"But, I saw it myself. He was standing next to Laura getting ready to bite your favorite child's neck." Georgia tried to convince her brother-in-law.

Deg! Immediately Vienna and Wallace fell silent.

"I heard a sound like a snort, I woke up and accidentally looked at the figure. His face was clear, so scary!"

"The room light was deliberately not turned off because I am not used to sleeping without light, Laura turned on the small lamp on her study table," continued Georgia, she put her bread on the plate because she felt nauseous when she told the incident last night.

"You should immediately find a vampire hunter to catch the creature," said Georgia.

"B--but where to look?" Vienna asked after being able to control her fear.

"I don't know... I don't know either," replied Georgia confused.

After finishing the long story, Georgia rushed to the bathroom to expel the acid in her stomach. She was really nauseous and dizzy at the time, so what about Laura?

Laura was much more afraid than Georgia and her parents.

This morning Aldrich was forced to come face to face with Arthur at the dinner table, the stiff and awkward atmosphere diminishing his appetite.

"Aldrich, don't just watch the food, it will get cold later... I cook it especially for you," said Ghea softly.

"Thanks, but I don't have an appetite," Aldrich replied expressionlessly.

Then he quickly left the dining room and entered his room. Aldrich wanted to calm his mind for a moment while listening to music.

Arthur never understood what his dream had been all along, even now Laura and her family was urging Aldrich to immediately marry their daughter.

The GreenGrey boy band frontman was faced with two choices, marriage and music. Which should he prioritize?

"If Laura continues to act like that, I'll break her off," he muttered.

Drrtt ... drrtt ... Aldrich's phone suddenly vibrated.

"It's still early in the morning, it's just bothering me," Aldrich grumbled while looking at his cellphone screen.

A notification appeared on the screen (2 calls from Uncle Wallace).

"Why did Uncle Wallacr call me? What's wrong, huh?" He asked himself.

Aldrich quickly took his cellphone from the table and called Widodo back.

Tuutt... tutt... click.

"Aldrich! Come to my house now, quickly!"

"What's wrong, Uncle? Why do I have to hurry there?"

"Laura is sick, she wants to talk to you!"

"Alright, in half an hour I will be at your house."

"Thank you, Aldrich."

'Ah, again she failed my plan to find that woman.' Aldrich thought.

Suddenly, the love for Laura just disappeared like the wind.

Approximately half an hour later, at 8 am Robert had arrived at Laura's house. Wallace immediately invited his future son-in-law to meet Laura in the room.

Aldrich was very surprised to see Laura's pale and weak state. There was a slight desire to hug Laura's body but he didn't do it.

Wallace left Laura's room, allowing the two of them to be more flexible when talking to each other.

"Laura ... what are you doing? How can it be like this?" Aldrich approached Laura and held her hand gently.

"Al--Aldrich ... I--I... I want us to get married as soon as possible."

"Married? But why??"

"I don't feel safe," She answered quietly.

"Not safe, what do you mean?" asked Aldrich, confused.

"Last night a vampire came to the house ... Aunt Georgia said the creature wanted to bite my neck," said Laura, her eyes were very deep and full of hope at the man sitting beside her.

"I am afraid he will appear again ... please marry me," She continued pitifully.

"If the vampire really wants to bite you, then what's the main purpose?"

"I don't know ... what is clear is that my aunt saw it with her own eyes," Laura explained.

"Okay, you just take a break. When I get home from here, I'll talk to my mom, okay? Aldrich tried to convince Laura, but actually he felt the story was just a trick of the Wallace family.

It turns out that Alexander knew all about their plans and he didn't like it. After all, Laura had to be his, sooner or later, he would bring her into the vampire cave.
