Chapter 6 A Vampire

Winnie Lorencia is a woman's name, she is 24 years old, quite sweet and attractive but who would have thought that Winnie had bipolar disorder [1].

Her father arrange marriage Winnie with a cruel businessman who was already married for the sake of business cooperation between Bima Dharmawangsa and Vladimir, a hotelier in Jakarta. But why should Vladimir be her future husband?

That night, Winnie didn't follow Aldrich's orders to hide in the Neptunus Cafe employee mess, her mind was so confused because of the matchmaking.

She walked down the path past the shabby houses full of garbage and then broke into one of the residents' houses.

"Hey! Who are you??! Why did you suddenly enter my house?!" Someone asked.

"S--sorry, Sir. I--I'm being chased by bad people," She stammered.

"Chasing bad guys? Where is he?" He asked again as he put the plastic waste into another trash can.

"He's in the cafe," said Wina quietly. "Help me."

"What can I do for you? Do you want to hide at my house?"

Winnie nodded quickly.

"Yes, you hide here first, but only until tomorrow morning," He said.

"Thank you, Sir."

That old man then stopped his activities for a moment to close the door of his house which was wide open.

Winnie thought that it was impossible for Vladimir to follow her to that place.

Aldrich knocked on the mess door a few times, then not long after a cafe employee opened the door for him.

The woman looked surprised at Aldrich because her idol suddenly appeared in front of her.

"Good Night, Mr. Aldrich," Greeted the friendly employee.

"Good night too ... excuse me I want to ask, did anyone come in here?"

"Nothing."

"Nothing? There was a woman around here, she was thin, her appearance was a bit unique." Aldrich explained.

"I don't know, it was just me and two of my friends in here."

"Hmm ... it's strange. Where did that girl go?" Aldrich muttered.

"Then I will look elsewhere, sorry for disturbing your time," continued Aldrich politely.

"Alright, Sir."

After saying goodbye to the mess employees, Aldrich entered the cafe and paid for the food and drink he ordered to the cashier.

Aldrich was curious about what he saw earlier, so he asked the cashier.

"Miss, who was that? Is she a customer of this cafe?"

"Which one, Sir?"

"The person who was shouting here."

"He is a relative of Mr. Nino and he often visits here," explained the cashier.

"A relative of Mr. Nino? Really? I don't believe it," said Aldrich.

"Mr. Vladimir is indeed a relative of Mr. Nino, but his character is very different from that of Mr. Nino," said the cashier.

"Thanks for the info, Miss."

"You're welcome, Sir."

Cigarette smoke billowed in the living room of Bima Dharmawangsa's house, although Bima didn't like smoking he was forced to smoke a cigarette that Vladimir gave him.

"Mr. Bima, I ask you to immediately find Winnie and bring her to me," said Vladimir.

"As soon as I can find Winnie, don't worry. Surely, she is still around the cafe," Bima replied confidently.

"If your daughter is not found, our business agreement will be canceled, remember that!" Vladimir warned Bima.

"Don't worry, Vlad. Cough, cough, cough." Bima coughed because he wasn't used to smoking cigarettes.

"One more thing, after Winnie become my wife, she had to give many children to the Carillo family," said Vladimir.

"Just do as you wish, after all she is not my biological child. Who cares??"

"But I care!! Screamed a woman, suddenly she appeared in the living room with a sharp look at Bima.

"Ah, Mrs. Fika apparently." Vladimir smiled sarcastically.

"I don't agree with this matchmaking!" Fika rebuked, then she walked over to Bima.

"I only love Winnie, nothing else," said Vladimir.

"Love you say??! What do you know about love?!!" Fika was furious.

"My decision has been made! Like it or not, Winnie still has to get married!" cried Bima.

"Now, hurry find Winnie wherever she is, I will wait until tomorrow afternoon." Vladimir ruled over Bima.

Without saying goodbye first, Vladimir immediately left the living room and went out to the yard of his future father-in-law's house while continuing to smoke cigarettes.

Tonight his date with Winnie failed, but there were still other nights to melt Winnie's heart.

Meanwhile, the woman hated Vladimir Carillo who had caused her life to fall apart, causing her to have a mental breakdown to this day.

At exactly 22.00 Aldrich arrived at his house, he was still thinking about the woman he met at the cafe earlier.

Aldrich lazily stepped into his bedroom which was opposite Ghea and Sisca's room. They were both Arthur James's favorite children and they always made their father proud.

Arthur never supported Aldrich's dream of becoming a famous singer, on the contrary Deanna understood his desires and supported Aldrich in everything including love affairs.

The James family had been running the hotel, bank, and resort business for decades, but Aldrich was not at all interested in continuing any of these businesses.

For some reason, between Arthur and Aldrich there seemed to be a stronghold of enmity that he had felt since childhood. Until now, that question had not been answered even his father was getting away from Aldrich.

A difficult choice for him in the middle of the journey to achieve a Bachelor of Letters degree. Engagement, married, or broke up with Laura then continued his dream?

Even Arthur could not intervene in Aldrich's life because they both lacked closeness and affection for each other.

Only Deanna, Ghea, and Sisca loved Aldrich in that luxurious house.It was getting late and Aldrich couldn't sleep.

At Laura's house, someone was smelling the body of a noblewoman, she had just finished shooting a drama called Vampire Minister.

The mysterious man smirked showing his sharp and terrible fangs, eager to bite Laura's neck, and then drank the blood of his future wife.

For almost three hundred years, he was confined in a cave, and now that he was free from the clutches of the old vampire. Alexander Drake would bring Laura into his vampire world.

Revenge is the main reason for coming to London just to kidnap Laura, all things that were said to be able to repel vampires in fact didn't work at all for Alexander.

He is not a human but a vampire, therefore he could only be expelled by human prayers to his God.

When he was about to bite Laura's neck, Georgia suddenly woke up hearing a snort and then accidentally saw the real figure of Alexander beside her niece's bed.

"Arrgghh! Vampire!!" Georgia shouted

Blash... as fast as lightning the vampire disappeared into the dim light of Laura's room.
