Chapter 5 Linda

"Get up!" A harsh voice called out and Alice slowly opened her heavy lids.

Her teeth gnashed and her body shook with cold. This was hell, except that hell was hot and not cold.

Alice could barely feel her legs. With her eyes barely opened, she looked around and realized that she was still there.

She was not in her warm room. She was still in the werewolf world. She was still Alice, the omega and not Alice the skilled masseuse.

"Would you get up? Or you'd rather me drag you?" The voice called out again and Alice felt her heart hurting.

What crime had she committed to find herself here, in this world as a nobody who had no persons and no powers?

Alice tried to get up from the cold floor but she was too weak to do so. The cold had paralyzed her body.

She looked at the man at the door, he was tall and lanky with rough beards and a tough look on his face.

He groaned and walked into the room. He grabbed her by the arm and Alice thought he would throw her over his shoulders but she was wrong as he dragged her on the cold floor.

Alice's lips parted as she cried out in pains.

"Would you get up and walk now?" The guy asked gruffly.

Alice could only respond with a nod. Using his body as a support, she helped herself onto her feet and held onto him to stabilize herself.

"Where.... Where are we going?" She managed to ask as she stood as best as she could.

"Just be silent and follow me" the man turned and began to walk away.

Alice immediately followed after him. There were a few other men by the door and they walked past the men. The guy was walking fast and Alice found it hard to catch up with him in her state.

She thought about her brother. What if she was forever unable to leave this place? What would happen to her brother?

No! She had to find a way to leave this place. She had to talk to the Alpha and clear this with him of perhaps talk to the beta... He definitely had something.

"Get in" the guy stopped in front of a small house in the same compound. The house wasn't small but compared to the mansion where the Alpha resided, it was really small.

"Please.... What kind of wolf are you?" Alice asked, wanting to affirm yet again that she really was in a werewolf world.

"A wolf you would never become" he raised his hands up and Alice gasped as she watched his hand turn hairy and his fingers swiftly turn into claws.

He dropped his arm with a chuckle.

"An omega like you would barely be able to fully shift in a minute" he snorted and his face returned to the expressionless look.

"Get in"

Alice glanced at the door and with her weak legs, she took the few stairs that led to the door and pushed the door open.

She walked in and at once, all eyes turned onto her. It was a living room and there were three girls in there, putting on uniform clothings.

They were maids.

"Wow, who do we have here?" One of them, a blonde grinned.

"Alice the omega" the second girl laughed. She was short but looked healthy and pretty.

Not saying a word, Alice walked further into the room but the third girl stopped her with a disdainful look on her face.

"And where do you think you are going to?" She asked, her left brow raised.

"You stink!" Her nose wrinkled.

"What do you expect someone like her to smell like? Roses?"

"Anyways...." The third girl spoke up, her loud voice bringing silence to the room.

"I am Linda, the head of the Alpha's maids and you? You do not need to introduce yourself. You are quite popular. Alice, the omega, the weakest amongst omegas. I just wonder how you got that pretty face" the girl snorted.

Alice heard silent sobs, it was her wolf side. It was crying. It hurt Alice too.

"Thanks for acknowledging that I am pretty" Alice forced a smile out and tried walking away.

She wanted to get away from this horrible people.

"Where do you think you are going?! Walking out on me?! Try that and I will make your life as a maid hellish than you can imagine!" Melinda spat.

Alice wanted to ignore her and walk away but her wolf side was against her walking away.

"Don't... It will make life harder"

With a shaky breath, Alice stopped.

"I heard about what you did yesterday. Criticising Alpha Chase actions. That was stupid and you are extremely lucky he didn't kill you off. The Pack would be better off without you anyways" Linda rambled.

"But you know what I want to happen?" She asked with a smirk on her face and took a step closer to Alice

"I want him to kill you off, Alice" she grinned wickedly.

Alice could hardly believe the extent of bullying she was going through! How could these people bully a wolf like them because the wolf was weaker?

"And that is why immediately I saw your name on the list of the lowliest maid, a list no one has been on for four years, I decided to assign you to Alpha Chase"

"I am going to make sure he eventually kills you" Linda leaned further closer to her ears .

"I know he is your mate but he will never be yours though. He will be your killer instead"

She pulled back and on her face was the cruelest smile.

Linda turned to the other two.

"Tell it to the others, no one is to tell Alice, the omega about the likes and dislikes of the Alpha. Let her make enough mistakes so she can leave this world for us"

"Of course, who would even tell her anything?"

"As you wish, Linda"

Alice stared at the three girls in disbelief. She knew one thing was sure, if she didn't go back to her world, she was going to go through hell.

"Lead Alice to the room she will be staying"
