Chapter 4 Maria's POV

" What happened guys?" I asked them while drinking water, Lily started biting her nails, she bite her nails only when she is worried about something. And whereas David running his long fingers in his messy hair.

"Maria, orphanage is in trouble." David said to me in a whisper.

" Don't worry guys, whatever is it we can solve it together. We can help them. Now stop this suspense drama and can you guys please tell me what this trouble is all about?" I asked them while gripping the water bottle tightly in my hands. The whole atmosphere is tensed up. Even though it is a small thing for us, the orphanage is like our family. It's mean everything for us. All our memories are bonded with it.

"Landowner of the orphanage informed the manager, that is either they vacate the place or they buy it all." Lily said toe in a sad tone.

" Manager tried to convince the landowner but as he got bankrupt recently he want to sell the orphanage. Even the manager was unable to speak anything as well as we all know that the landowner is a kind hearted guy, he never took the rent of it till now." David said to me in a desperate tone. I know about that landowner. He is a nice guy. But no one can do anything when the problem was standing at our door step.

" Even though we shift the orphanage.

Still we can't pay those huge rents. Funds are not even helping them. " Lily said this and started crying in David's embrace. Lily is an emotional girl.

"What about those innocent kid. No, we must do something. I won't let's them become homeless again." I started murmuring this things to myself while thinking about my savings. Yes, I have saved money by doing part-time jobs from at the age of 12 upward. Because we know the rule of the orphanage that we need to leave the orphanage from the age of 18 years old. So in order to live our lives by ourselves independently, we did various part-time jobs for many years and save a buck for ourselves.

" Even though we all sell our apartment and combine the money with our savings still we can't run the orphanage for many days." I said to them.

"Let's us earn money by doing various jobs, maybe we can't earn that huge amount but at least let's us give a try. And let's us seek help from funders. Let's us give our best and hope to the miracle."

I said in order to cheer them. But we knew that this time of we want to pass this situation miracle, should happen like getting huge funds. Then we can get over with this problem.

With that, we ended our conversation. David and Lily left to their house. I started searching for more jobs on the net, after two hours of searching, I found two jobs which are convinent for my free timings, and which are also near to my apartment. I think I should ask Mia to adjust my working timing with her, so that I am attend those two jobs without any time delays. Thinking this I closed my laptop amd saw the time.

Thank God I still have 3 hours for my usual waking time. With that, I slept ony lovely bed hoping for some miracle to happen in my life.

I woke up due to the buzzing sound of my alarm. I did my usual routines and texted David and Lily about my new job hunt and left to the restaurant, today I went 20 minutes early than my usual time in order to speak with Mia. I confessed the orphanage problem to Mia, she offered some amount and decreased my work timing and even increased my pay. I hugged her and we chatted with each other for some time and I got to the storeroom to get ready for my shift.

ALEX'S POV:

In the hospital, I heard a few faint voices. Slowly, voices became clear. I tried to open my eyes but failed to do it. After a few attempts, I opened my eyes slowly adjusting to the room lights. Then I started analysing my surroundings which seem like a hospital.

' Why the hell I'm I here?' I thought to myself, I tried to remember how I ended up here, but nothing was coming up into my brain. Slowly my memories came back like a tide. Now I got it. Dinner with my parents, dream project, marriage, accident, a beautiful girl. My lips curve up a little thinking about that beautiful girl.

I shifted my gaze to those foolish doctors who where present near my bed and murmuring something to themselves, but I guess one doctor is rebuking the remaining two. I made a small moose to gain their attention.

I think I got successful by gaining their full attention. The doctors where looking towards me with fear dancing in their eyes. Their faces became pale. My inner demon got satisfied with their looks. Of course, I like the fear of people towards me.

This is my hospital for God sake. I need to be in my VIP room. But this stupids humiliated me by treating me like a normal person. 'Get ready folks to face my wrath'

" Sir, you got into a car small accident, your car hit a tree on the roadside, a girl saw you and she admitted you here. And at the same time, our junior doctor was on duty sir, he is new to this city so it's seems he doesn't know about you. He thought you as a normal guy, even the girl didn't inform anything about you, it's seem she doesn't know anything about you, sir." I glared at him, with that he took two steps back with fear.

I was now fuming with anger, for the fuck sake I'm the most popular guy in this entire city, but how come she doesn't even know my identity. My blood was boiling thinking about this. It's seem I need to handle this foolish doctors and the foolish girl.

" Where is that girl?" I asked the dean, thinking about that I didn't see her till now.

"Sirrrrr.....she left......the hospital...."

Dean uttered with stammer.
