Chapter 3 Alex POV

If we get that Asian's deal, then we will be at no.1 position. No one can beat us even for the next decade. So I'm working alot for it.

I resume my work on my laptop, moving all my personal thoughts aside. Time started running at the speed of light. When I completed my work I realised that it was 9:00pm.

I left the office and started driving my car to my parents house. After half an hour of the ride, I reached my destination. Butler greeted me first at the entrance and said that my parents are waiting for me in the garden in the backyard. My parents house is a big beautiful mansion with rich furniture and paintings that are hang over the walls everywhere and with a beautiful garden.

When I reached the backyard of the mansion, therefrom little far I saw my parents talking to each other from afar. They love each other a lot. I went near them, my dad crushed me with his tight bear hug even though he is old but yet he is strong. He always has this intimidating aura around him. Then my mum showered me her kisses all over my face. She never fails to amuse me. She still treat me as a kid.

She has this kind of aura which makes you feel warm instantly. They both love and pampered me alot as I'm their single child. I have never heard 'no' in my life from anyone as I have to hear it. I'll get it whatever I want either by hook or crook.

We three sat around the table where the whole dining set was kept ready with my favourite dashes in the garden itself. We started our dinner.

" Son, I think you should get settled in your life." Mom said to me with her sweet voice, in the middle of our dinner chat.

"Mom, u already got settled in my life. I'm the CEO of our company and we are the first in our company and we will be. Don't worry mom." Even I'm a playboy but I invested a lot of my time and energy in the development of my own company from nothing to nothing. 2 position. And I even merged it with dad's company which is no.1. Now our company is the most powerful and popular in this city.

"Yes son. But we are speaking about your personal life, not about your professional life. Of course but our topic will be connected to both your personal and professional life." My parents never interfered with my personal life. Even though I date with many girls in the past, as I hated commitment, but they never question about it before.

"Son, we know we shouldn't interfere in your personal life, but you are the only child and we way the very best for. Even I used to be like you at your age, but your grandpa kept the same condition infront of me which I'm just advise you, just like your grandpa. "Dad said to me, does your mum entered my dry life and turn it to a colourful Dad, I know that you both love me alot. Bit what are this advice and conditions and blah blah blah blah? I don't get it dad, I said to him."

" Look son, I knew that, Asian's project is your dream project and a very prestigious one to your image, and I also know that you are working hard for it. But son, to get it you need to get married for it." Dad said to me.

" Son, the owner of this project is Asian, and he is thinly that marry men are more stable than bachelor. I got to know that the get impressed with your presentation and everything but still they aren't taking any further steps Because of this marriage issue. I'm sorry son I tried my best to convinced them but you know it's seey like his belief. So if you want to win this you must get married. If you can get mary, we both two will feel happy." My dad said to me while holding my mum's hand.

"Dad, don't worry. I knew this deal is more important than us. I will take care of this issues." Said to my dad said still thinking about this bloody shit. But I need this project. I can't lose it. If I have to get married for this, then I'll do it.

" Dad said to me. Son, remember our happiness is always important to us rather than that business deal." "My mom said to me. I nodded my head. And we begin with a little chat by of course our company too. I need my dad tips to crack the remaining project too.

I left my part house immediately I finished my dinner with my parents, I felt really annoyed with this new marriage issue. I knew my parents, even though they don't express it but I know that our business is our second son to my father. I knew that he worked do hard for this company, once he hated this marriage and avoided that topic like a plague but ended up in an arranged marriage with my mom only because of our company. Of course, later they both fell in love for each other.

Well in my case, I hate this marriage stuff. Moveover, how can I get married within this week as our next meeting with the Asian's is going to held by the end of this week? Argh....... What should I do now?

My phone started ringing showing John's name on the screen then I remember the pub but I lost my interest in it. I want to stay alone so I switched off my phone and threw it on the passenger seat and started driving my car aimlessly as many thoughts has clouded my brain making it clumsy, which finally cause me headache.

I was so lost in myself, that I didn't realize that I was driving in a small street randomly. I just close my eyes for a second taking a deep breath, and all of a sudden I lost the control big my car and hit the tree beside the street.

The last thing which I saw before going unconscious with a beautiful girl who was trying to open the car door through the broken side window of my car. Then I fell unconscious......

MARIA'S POV:

I don't have time, so I rushed to pick up a card and write "get well soon with a smile emoji" and place it on the table beside the strangers bed is lying. I just paid the hospital bill and his medication with my savings and left to my apartment.

I reached my apartment and opened the door of my house. Both David and Lily are sitting together on the studio couch of the my living room.
