Dr.Obodah Emeka finally took an appointment with the University Teaching Hospital, Ibadan as a surgeon. He was a very dutiful man. His colleagues spoke well of him.
Other member of staff admired him. He was really a man of the people.
Since the end of their service year, Obodah never heard anything about Sayo again. The two of seemed to have said good-bye to each other on the day of the National Parade, but the wheel of fate never misses its path.
Six month after Dr. Emeka had taken up an appointment with the Teaching Hispital, wheel of destiny and that of Sayo rotated and met again.
That year the State Branch Association of Nigeria Pharmacists had their annual conference at the University Teaching Hospital, Ibadan.
Sayo attended the conference and Obodah was invited as the Guest Speaker.
Dr.Obodah Emeka was an eloquent speaker.
He said many inspiring things about the pharmaceutucal profession in the country .
After the occassion,Dr. Emeka and Sayo eventually meets.
"At different times, all of you took professional oaths which called for commitment light glow day and night . The health of the nations depends on you . Doctors only prescribe the drugs but you dispense them. The smallest mistake you make can ruin a nation.
