"Tamara, meet Jonas, the oldest son of your uncle Alfonzo, and Jonas, meet my beautiful daughter Tamara,"
"Tamara, nice meeting you..."
When Jonas shook my hand and looked at me so intensely, as if he wanted to eat me, my whole world stopped.
I stutter, "Ah...Nice to meet you," which makes him smile before he lets go of my hand.
"Well, kids, since you already know each other, I hope you get along because we're going to be a family,"
I looked at my mother and smiled, and nodded.
Jonas said with a smirk, "I can promise you, aunt Lolita, that I will be good to Tamara."
Glad, my mother nodded. But I think Jonas's every word means something different.
Jonas says as he gets into the back of the car, "Then let me help you with your things before I have to go to my training."
"Tamara, help Jonas, and I'll just call Alfonzo,"
While my mother was dialing her phone, she had already turned around. So I had to go after Jonas and help him carry our bags.
"So you're here because your partner turned you down?" Jonas asked.
Jonas's question makes me blush because I don't think my mother will tell them why we have to leave our pack.
"Uh-huh, are you sure that's your friend?" Jonas says something and sits on the car's trunk.
I open my eyes wide in shock and say, "How do you feel about me? David is my friend, of course. I mean, ex-mate, "I replied. Even though I was sure I had said it, I made sure my mom didn't hear what we were talking about.
Jonas smiled, and I was surprised when he grabbed me quickly by the waist.
"Then, what is it about you that makes me want to be with you? I'm sure you can sense it too, "Jonas says, and he moves his face toward mine.
"What the heck are you doing? Please let me go, "I stammer, and he takes his hand off my waist.
"Since I saw you, my other form has been making me crazy. So, please forgive me, but I need to check on one thing. If I don't, my wolf will give me trouble, "Jonas whispered something and tightened his hold on my waist.
"What do you mean? What do you need to be sure of?" I didn't understand. I turned to look at my mother to make sure she didn't see what Jonas was doing.
"This," Jonas said in a whisper.
I held on to Jonas' clothes as my eyes grew bigger in shock. I'm still not believing it, but I can feel Jonas' tongue in my mouth.
Do I feel a kiss? Dear Lord! Jonas Hale, who will soon be my brother, just kissed me. Tamara, Please, just push him!
My brain tells me that, but my body doesn't agree. Instead of pushing Jonas, I play with him with my tongue, and it feels good.
I didn't know I had lust until his kiss woke it up in me.
"Alfonzo is on his way here, Tamara,"
Jonas knew to let go of my lip when he heard my mother's voice.
Jonas says as he wipes my lips, "Hmm, Tamara Morningstar, maybe you shouldn't go to the Hale house as my sister."
"You-" I don't know how to answer Jonas's question because I can't lie about how much I want him.
Jonas smiled at me and was carrying two big bags.
Jonas told my mother, "Aunt Lolita, let's wait for my fathers inside the house," and they walked together.
"Tamara, hurry up!"
I was out of breath because of the new problem my new "brother" had caused. I didn't even know how I felt about him.
"No! David Halter is probably my friend. That smell proves it! I'm not that stupid to make a mistake!" I spoke in a whisper as I carried two big boxes into the house.
"What do you think of the house, Tamara? You like it?" My mom asked me.
A woman has never touched the Hale family home. The walls have lost color, and the furniture shows that a man lives there.
"Mom, since there are no girls in this house, it makes sense that the inside looks like this," I said with a laugh.
"You're right. Maybe Alfonzo and his son won't mind if I change a few things around here."
When I saw Jonas coming down the stairs, I didn't answer. I secretly sigh. How can Jacob's gift stop my whole world? Still, he wore rough jeans and a white shirt that fit him well.
"Aunt Lolita, your room is ready if you want to rest first. The master bedroom is at the end of the left side of the house. And your room is on the other side, Tamara, "Jonas told me as he walked up to me and grabbed the box I was holding.
I quickly took the box from Jonas's hand and said, "It's okay, it's mine, so I'll take it to my room."
"Jonas, forget it. My daughter didn't like it when other people touched her things. Tamara is the strongest member of her pack, so she is used to doing hard work."
I glared at my mom to tell her to stop talking.
Still, I wanted to hide my strength in the Phantom pack so that if my heart started beating again, my new love wouldn't be afraid.
"Don't be shy, Tamara. Jonas probably already knows since I told Alfonzo everything," my mother said when she saw my reaction.
"Anyway, the long drive has made me tired, so I'll rest first. Please show Tamara her room, Jonas. "As my mother walks to the store, she says, "It looks like she's been here for a long time."
Jonas said with a smile, "Don't worry; if you want to join my pack, you won't have any trouble because everyone in it is strong."
Also, he took the box from me and left.
I whisper, "Huh, I'm not sure about that," as I follow him. I didn't want to say that I was stronger than my previous Alpha, so I stopped speaking my mind.
