Chapter 4 Tempted To Him

"Can I move to a different room?" I quickly requested. I don't particularly appreciate that Jonas' room is next to mine, or rather, I don't like how excited I am that his room is next to mine.

Jonas answered as he walked into the room, "No, because the other room is already taken." He put down the box and looked at me with a serious face.

"What do you mean by busy? You live here with your uncle Alfonzo, and the house might have seven rooms?" I answer with a raised eyebrow.

Jonas said, "My pack is made up of rogues, so I took them." He made it sound like it wasn't important.

"Rogues? Is your group made up of bad guys? Isn't that risky?" I asked with doubt.

"They are dangerous, no doubt. I have to fight each and everyone, "Jonas told us.

My mother says Jonas Hale is strong, but I don't know how strong he was.

The member of his pack could just be an average rogue.

If that is true, I have nothing to worry about.

Jonas said, "It looks like you're not afraid," Then he took a step toward me.

"Should I be afraid? I am sure that your subordinate won't hurt your sister." I stressed the word "sister" because I was worried that Jonas had forgotten what my role was in his life since the desire in his eyes was back.

"Huh, so you've already decided to be my sister..." Jonas yelled as he stopped a fraction of an inch in front of me.

"Of course, I won't put my mother's happiness at risk," I say with a firm voice, but my heart is breaking.

Because if Jonas keeps pushing our attraction, I can't promise I won't give in.

But Jonas gave me a dirty look and turned around. "Good enough... Then, since we both know the temptation is too strong, let's try to stay away from each other, "Jonas says with his fists clenched.

My face showed how upset I was, so I turned away from Jonas and said, "Good, then we're set."

Jonas quickly pulled me to face him, so I couldn't finish what I was saying. "If it's good, why do your eyes tell you something else? Tamara, you don't like it either!" Jonas remarks.

I couldn't disagree with Jonas's words, so I quickly got away from him. "Please get out of... I have a lot on my plate, "I uttered.

But Jonas doesn't listen. Instead, he puts one hand around my waist and the other around my neck. This makes me stare at him.

"Okay, I'll go, but after this-"

As soon as Jonas' lips touch mine, I feel weak. And, just like before, I replied with the same level of anger as he did.

"Ahh ..." Jonas put his hand behind me and gently squeezed it. I couldn't help but moan.

I've never felt this way before. So, the electricity that comes from Jonas's hands makes me lose my mind.

Jonas whispered, "Admit it, Tamara. You want my kisses and touches," as he slid his mouth into my ear and bit the tip of it playfully.

I close my eyes and grip his arm tight.

Jonas has a point. I want him so much, and I've never felt that way about anyone else, not even David Halter!

I was busy arguing with myself, so I didn't notice when Jonas picked me up and laid me down on the bed. His lips moved over my skin as he did this.

When I felt his hand go into my blouse, my back arched in surprise.

"Oh, god Jonas! Please, don't-"

If I hadn't heard laughter outside the room, something terrible would have happened to Jonas and me that I would later regret.

"This group is awful!" Jonas whispered while putting his face on my neck to hide his irritation. He stayed in that position and took deep breaths for a few seconds.

"Jonas," I say once more.

Jonas stood up and left the room without saying a word.

I shut the door, sat down on the bed, and looked up at the ceiling. "What are you going to do, Tamara Morningstar? How can you get to Jonas Hale from your lush? Consider your mother, "As I rolled around in bed, I preached to myself.

I started to clean up my room to take my mind off of Jonas. My mother told me to bring important things, but I didn't get much because I don't like things other women my age are crazy about.

My mom and I also decided to go shopping in this city because it would be easier than bringing all of our things.

I had forgotten what time it was because I was so busy. When my mom knocked on my door for dinner, I didn't expect it.

"Hmm, it looks like you're done with your stuff, but your room still looks like it belongs to a man,"

I scowled at my mom and shook my head. "Mom, I'm happy in the room. Don't do anything without my permission," I said, knowing that my mom likes to get involved in everything.

"Jonas will take care of everything else you need. I talked to him earlier, and he's willing to go shopping with you."

I couldn't believe it, but I stared at my mom. How can I stay away from Jonas if my mother wants us to be together? But I can't say it out loud, so I'm just sighing in my head.

When my mom and I went down, we met three men who I thought were no more than a few years older than me.

"Well, Lolita wasn't lying when she said her daughter is cute!" Alfonzo says something as he walks toward us. He went to another room in the house.

"Uncle, thanks for the nice thing you said. It was nice to meet you at last, "I answer with a big grin.

"Hmm, Alfonzo, don't let Tamara's smile fool you. I'm sure she already has 12 questions ready,"

"Love, don't worry. I have everything ready for Tamara, but we should talk while we eat, "Alfonzo suggested.

As we went to the kitchen, one of the three guys said, "Uncle, you forgot to introduce us!"

"Tamara, meet Jonas, pack member. Tito is the guy in your back, Vic is the guy on your left, and Joey is the last one. They also leave because they don't have a place of their own yet. "Alfonzo gave a reason.

"This is wonderful! Tamara, don't you think it's sad to live in a house where only a few people live?" I agreed with what my mother said.

"Where are Jonas and Elija, anyway?" As soon as we sat down at the table, Alfonzo asked.

"Our alpha is in range, so Elija went to the woods with him," says Joey.

"Why doesn't your Alpha work?"

"I don't know what makes his range, but Jonas was already ready to kill when we got there early,"

I decided to bow while I ate because I knew why Jonas was acting that way.
