Chapter 8 Misunderstanding

"Sorry for making you wait so long, Dear," said Lias, who was now approaching Ella who had been waiting for him all this time.

"Why are you taking so long? You know that I don't like waiting at all, right?" said Ella with a frown on her face.

"I'm so sorry," said Lias admitting he was wrong.

"This is a drink for you," he continued, handing the orange-flavoured drink to his lover while sitting right next to Ella.

"Thank you," said Ella. She who had looked so very sullen instantly threw a smile at Lias. She could not be angry and upset for too long with her lover.

"I met the woman who came to your house yesterday," said Lias.

Ella immediately turned to her lover and raised one eyebrow, "the woman who came to the house yesterday? Who?" asked Ella who couldn't shoot yet.

"The woman you shouted at and kicked out," said Lias.

"What? So you met Alena? In this place?" asked Ella who was suddenly surprised and looked at Lias with curiosity.

"Yes, Dear" answered Lias.

Ella just sighed heavily while looking at Lias cynically. "Oh so that's what took you so long? No wonder you must have been chatting with that girl, right?" said Ella who didn't like it at all.

"Yes dear. I'm sorry for talking to her," said Lias. He tried to speak calmly so as not to irritate Ella even more.

"You know I'll get really mad when you do something I don't like right? And now you've just done it," Ella said in a rising voice.

"I hope you forgive her, Honey. I know that maybe she has annoyed and disappointed you in the past. But it looks like she really is sorry and seriously wants to apologize to you. What's wrong with fixing all that and giving Alena a second chance," said Lias.

Ella who heard this suddenly got up from her seat and looked at Lias with a look that looked full of anger.

She is a kind woman who even forgives everyone who has hurt her heart. He had introduced the woman for a long time and it was because of the kindness of the woman that made him choose to stay and be loyal to Ella. He was now convinced that it seemed like what Alena had done had exhausted Ella's patience. Ella immediately smiled seeing her lover who really really loved her. Ella immediately hugged Lias, "Thank you for loving me as I am, Lias," said Ella.

"What's wrong with you? You looked so angry just now and now you're telling me that," said Lias smiling although still a little confused.

"Let's forget what happened just now. You promised to treat me right? Then let's go now," Ella said then pulled Lias's hand to leave the place and head to her favorite restaurant.

Lias actually felt very curious about the reason why Ella hated this woman so much. But he didn't want to ask at all because he knew very well that Ella didn't like it when he talked about it at all.

"How is your mother doing?" Ask Lias. He is now finally seen making small talk while waiting for their food orders to arrive.

"He's still the same as before. Nothing has changed at all. I feel so very afraid that if something happens to my mother and can't heal like before. I have no one but him," said Ella with teary eyes.

"We wish the best for your mother. Besides, you don't have to feel sad. You are never alone because I will always be there for you. I promise you," said Lias. He was seen holding Ella's hand tightly. He loved Ella so much. Suffering for the woman is suffering for her as well. He had promised to always be there. He would never leave that woman.

Ella really hopes that her relationship with Lias will stay like this. She was so afraid of losing the man.
