Chapter 3 Hatred

It's been two weeks since Mr. Albert's death. Ella couldn't go on like this. Her future is still long and she must rise up against all these adversity. She decided to go back to work as usual and go about his day.

A short message notification from someone who looks special suddenly forms the curve of a smile on her beautiful lips.

"Sorry because I just gave you the news. I feel sorry for what has happened to Mr. Albert. This afternoon, I will return to Indonesia soon," Ella thought when she read the short message.

The man who had just sent a short message to her was none other than Lias-her childhood best friend and the man who would soon become her last love port. She and Lias love each other. The two have also been matched and will get married after Lias completes his doctoral education abroad. And today the man is back.

Ella is sure that she will soon marry the man she loves.

Ella is now ready to wear a neutral color t-shirt combined with skinny jeans. Then for the impression of smart officewear, she simply added a blazer as an outer and wore her favorite heels that Lias sent from abroad as a birthday present for her 24th year.

"Life isn't always about sadness, Ella. get up and set your sights forward." Ella smiled and immediately headed towards the trunk of the car and headed for the office. Since her father's death, she has never heard from Alena again. He hoped that in times like this, she would never meet that woman again.

"Geez, how could I forget to bring mineral water," Ella thought as she patted her forehead. Ella always brings mineral water wherever she goes. She often felt a stubborn thirst. She finally decided to stop her car on the shoulder of the road right in front of a mini market and buy a drink first. But when she was about to step into the mini market, her eyes fell on a woman who was standing not far from where she was. Who else if not Alena-the woman who has been the cause of the destruction of her family. Ella was furious and finally approached the woman and pulled her hand forcefully.

"What is it!" Elena shouted. How surprised she was when she saw that the person was Ella.

"Ella!" She continued, still astonished.

"You still remember my name apparently." Ella who saw the woman's face, immediately remembered the figure of her father who had just died.

"I didn't expect to meet this pathetic woman here. How are you now? Your father is dead, isn't it? It's really sad, but it's natural, after all your father is indeed old. A man like him deserves to die, he is old but still itching with other girls." Instead of feeling guilty or concerned, Alena even insulted Mr. Albert. This made Ella's emotions even more peaked. She mentally the woman sharply.

"Shut your mouth Elena!" Ella said in a slightly raised tone

"Why? I just said what I had to say didn't I? It was a fact anyway." Alena laughed and was satisfied to see the angry and annoyed expression on Ella's face.

"Savage!" Ella snapped landing her slap right on Alena's cheek. This was the first time she had met someone she had considered a traitor as well as a demon with a human face.

"How dare you touch me like this!" shouted Alena disapproved. She tried to return the slap. But Ella stopped her and held her hand.

"Who do you think you are? Oh yeah, don't ever expect to touch or hurt me again. You've made my family suffer enough, I'll make sure that you too will feel the same way I did!" said Ella. Alena just laughed out loud at the threat. To her, it was nothing more than a joke that would never happen. She knew very well how Ella was, she was just a spoiled woman who wouldn't be able to do anything on her own.

"I didn't expect that you would be this cruel to me," she continued.

"I've never thought of you as my best friend. You always won and were right in front of me. I've never excelled in anything. That's why I hate you so much. I hate that kind of thing! I promised myself that I would make you suffer even more." Alena has no guilt for being the cause of Mr. Albert's death. To her, it was none of her business.

"Just watch everyone will hate you when they find out that you have been my father's mistress all along!"

"Are you sure you can say that? Even you will only be ashamed of yourself. Your father has died but I believe that he will get insulted by people. Your father's good name will be damaged, do you want to make your father suffer even more after this death?" said Alena. She was sure that Ella wouldn't say that.

Alena had indeed promised herself to hide all the secrets of this affair. What she said just now was only part of the threat. But that doesn't seem to work at all. She also didn't want to make her mother suffer even more when she woke up from her coma after learning that her husband had been having an affair while she was battling her illness. Enough people know her father well. She did not want people to give a bad perception of her father again. Ella just wanted the man who had raised her to be happy in the wild without anything to make him more tormented.

"You have to remember one thing Ella. I will not stop here. I will never be satisfied to see you suffer," said Alena who chose to leave and leave Ella.

Envy and hate clouded her vision. She could no longer see the truth as well as the goodness within her best friend. She even forgot all the things Ella had done to him all this time. She will only continue to follow her will to destroy her own best friend.

Ella felt so very weak and her head was spinning again after the meeting just now. The friend who should be used as a place to lean on and share joys and sorrows has now become his own enemy. "Why should it be like this?" Ella thought, feeling dizzy and sick in her head again.

Her vision is now getting blurry. Deciding to go back home and rest seemed a lot better than having to go to the office. After all, the office where she worked was none other than her family's own company. She can work whenever she wants without anyone putting pressure on him. Actually she decided to go to the office today because she wanted to find something busy so as not to make herself think about all the problems that had befallen her lately.

Ella drove back the car towards the house. This afternoon, Lias will also return from abroad. Ella decided to cook her lover's favorite food. She had not seen the man in a long time. She will prepare things to welcome him and impress Lias.

Ella's cell phone suddenly rang a short message marker. The woman finally slowed down the car to check her cellphone. However, the incoming message made her instantly stunned and worried.
