His black boot tipped into the ice, he slowly pushed himself forward to me as my heart beat frantically inside my wall.

No I can't trust anyone. I can't risk it just because he had saved me from these rogues and those men.

Throwing my steps backwards, I felt the sharp edge of the tree branches kissed my neck, I couldn't stomach the pain and the burns, but no fucking time! No time to moan the pain...

Daisie Run! There is no safe place for you! I screamed to myself, taking off in a flash. I don't know where I was going, but I can't risk it to trust anyone No. I need to run away from that man.

I don't care what my wolf says, I don't believe any male calling me their mate. I can't be trapped the second time. No!

My legs were sinking into the snow, now I had only realised how difficult and inconvenient it was to use a snowshoe to run. I wasn't running fast, my wounds were making me slower like a weak prey, my predator was after me, I could feel the shadow.

Strong wolves are quite good with their noses and not only my whimper would make him find me quickly, but the smell of my blood.

I was so dead, hell no way on this earth I could get on my feet, the blood oozing out was sipping into the thick snow like a tap.

'' Las.." before I knew it the same huge figure that had killed those men in front of me, spotted me under the sturdy wood.

'' Don't come closer. Don't kill me please.'' I pulled my leg forward, I don't know why it feels so heavy. I can't even lift it up, It can't make me stand. I was feeling it so heavy, wondering why the pain was increasing per second.

NO. THIS. IS .FUCKING. NOT. HAPPENING.

'' Wait. Close your eyes.'' he suddenly knelt on the snow in front of my bleeding legs.

'' Ahh-oh shit it hurts!'' I snarled.

'' Almost, just take a deep breathe and shut your eyes tight. Don't look at it.'' he pulled the drenched slim stick out of my legs, he focused on my eyes while I groan out in pain. What was he doing? Why was he helping me? This could be another trap.

No. I- I can't. I need to go save Jessica, this man can't trap me again.. Not on this bloody sinful earth!

'' That's out. You are badly hurt.'' he said in his deep voice. Maybe because it was dark or my eyes were too blur with tears to begin to see clearly. I couldn't spot his eyes or mark the expression on his face, but the aura I got from him was fierce. WHEN. YOU. HEAR. FIERCE. YOU. SMELL IT. TOO.

'' Who are you?'' I drew a shaky breathe. My heart was still in my mouth as I asked.

'' That's not important, let's get you treated before you die,'' he blurted, he took off his thick coat from his broad-thick bone shoulder, wrapping them around my body. '' You are fucking cold, you need that." he raised me into his arms as he walked on the fallen dead leaves from the huge oak trees.

'' Why would you treat me if you are still going to kill me! Let me go please! Just kill me here I don't want to suffer anymore.'' I shook in his arms, protesting to drop me down.

'' Suffer anymore?'' he mumbled as he stared at my helpless face. '' She's badly hurt, I can't leave her.'' he didn't say it loud, he mumbled to himself, holding me tight to his vast chest.

He pulled me closer to his chest, only for me to realize how large his chest and muscles were.

I don't get it, but I felt he was battling with his beast inside of him, he only shut his eyes and let out some growls.

'' Relax Skylar. She is safe with me. I won't let her go.'' he seemed to be speaking to his wolf. I hadn't stopped my heart from beating hard.

I can't trust him I don't know it never helped me when I did. I literally cannot trust anyone, it all ended in deep pain and torture. Those bastard assholes! The thought of Jessica squeeze my chest tight. Why couldn't I hear her scream anymore back there?

I -I hope? No, shut the fuck up Daisie.. Nothing can happen to Jessica. No, nothing please..

I don't know Sarah, my wolf; seemed to leap inside of me can I trust what she is telling me? Not when His smells were this ferocious, I remember the eyes and pleasure in killing those wolves. What does he want to do with me?

'' Relax las. I'm not going to hurt you.'' wait can he smell my fear? Can he perceive me being scared of him, oh no I think it's the vibration of my heart that is advertising my emotions.

I stayed mute. Ahead of us, some men were waiting for him, believe me, they had the same intense presence as him, but I felt his strength was stronger than theirs. But they were huge men..

'' Charles. Get the physician ready before I get home.'' said Grey.

'' Grey, where did you find her. What is she?'' he shot him a wild glare that said something to him, I didn't get what they meant but I know they had coded something to each other about me.

'' Leave that to me. Get that done.'' he stared at my closed eyes as he adjusted me more into his massive body.

I had pretended to be sleeping all the while we left the forest, I hadn't known when and which path was even taken.

The next moment I saw, he was dragging on the handle of a black truck resting on the thick snow. He tossed me into the back seat of the car slowly then I opened my eyes. Breathing frantically hard. It was cold but I was sweating and my lips, my hands, everything fucking shaking!

'' Where are we?'' I panicked, looking around the area. I don't seem to see those thick forests, huge face curved mountains, huge oak trees anymore..but houses. These kinds of structures have never been seen before or known if existed. Never, have I seen or entered a car before.

He laced his veins hands across the steering wheel as the ignition started, he was driving the car suddenly. I stared blankly at him from the back. I was scared, where the heck am I and where the hell is he taking me to?

'' Don't flinch Las. We are going home.'' he focused on the road, he tucked out a gun from his jean trouser. Home? What bloody home? No! Fuck shit!

'' A gun? Who is this guy? If he wasn't staying any closer to the wood what was he doing there?''

It was too dark to decide if he had killed the rogues with the gun or his bold paws. I was too knee-deep in pain to have recognized or hear any sound of a gunshot, but there was the splashing of blood on my face, and that can only mean he killed them with his claws. Then why is he also carrying guns around with him? Because I am pretty sure he hadn't used the gun...
