Great, Charlie said we traveled for nothing. I am having this feeling that this was all a big joke. The doors automatically shut and the security system was rearmed. I ran over to the door and it wouldn't open. Dembès eyes flickered from hazel to yellow. I couldn't believe my eyes on what I had just seen. This is not good I said. You think Charlie said with a blue fire orb around her. Charlie looked at me and smiled you believe me now she smirked. Get behind me and Dembè. I quickly went behind them and we waited. About 5 minutes in an explosion happened.

I woke up in the hospital with a pounding headache I looked over to find Dembe and Charlie sitting and waiting. What happened? Someone almost tried to kill us Charlie said. I will let Peter know you are up. We can't discuss it here to many humans around and quite frankly Kentana you can't be in the pen. The doctor came in, you are sure lucky to be alive. Charlie and the tall man that just walked out found you in the ramble you came out with minor scratches and a concussion. He checked my vitals and your vitals are good. I raised an eyebrow and Charlie looked at me giving me the face expression not to say anything. I am going to discharge you and you will follow up with your doctor on Monday. I have a court hearing on Monday I replied. I am pretty sure they won't mind post-poning it he replied. You are strictly on bed rest. I want to make sure you are okay. Your physician will give you more instructions or less instructions. I will be right back with your papers as well as medicine for your pain.

Dembe re-entered the room, Mr. Thomas wants you and Charlie to stay on the pack land. Where is this pack land I had asked. About two hours out of town in the woods Charlie responded. Are you kidding me? Dembe raised an eyebrow, what I had asked. Humans are not allowed on pack land. For certain reasons you should be honored for the fact the pack is accepting you. There was almost a holy war amongst the pack. I didn't ask to be protected. Dembe stepped closer I could see the anger in his eyes. Then you shouldn't have taken the job. He turned around and stormed out. He has a point you know Charlie said. Humans aren't allowed on the packs ground its not a rule they put in place the elders did. So whatever strings Peter pulled for being as terrifying as he is you should be thankful.

Look I'm sorry I am just having hard time processing all this craziness I quickly replaced the werewolf thing as the doctor stepped in to hand me my discharge papers.

I got up and put my clothes back on and walked out of the hospital with Charlie. Sorry dembe I said as I got in the car this is just hard to process. It's fine he said sensing he was still angered.

I fell asleep on the way there. I was so exhausted I didn't even wake up when the car had came to a stop.

She almost died Alec said. I know I replied. I did a background search on her, and her family is very supercious. Meaning? Alec replied. Meaning her family believes in our kind. They do not like us at all. They've killed millions of us. Her father and mother kept us a secret so she can have a normal childhood. But they are well aware of us, we can possibly show her different. Alex started to laugh. What I replied. Everyone in town is a scared of you, we are terrifying. But yet I like her he responded.

I stepped into my office, when elder jack had appeared. You know a human isn't allowed to be on packs land. I know, but I went on higher authorities they gave me a week. After the week she is on her own. Peter you could have found a lawyer of our kind that works with humans. I laughed don't you think I had tried. Well if you weren't so terrible. As I walked outside my phone began to ring.

Ken are you okay the hospital called me saying you were in an explosion. My mom sounded worried.

Are alfa allowed to turn? Only for a good cause and if not they face the elders. Each wolf has a mate that we lead to. If that mate rejects we could potentially die if not just live alone. Stories have someone more powerful than the elders match us. So if one is rejected but doesn't die do they get a second mate. Sometimes most of the time we are to hurt to want another.

What about you i had asked. I had a mate but years down down road she let power of her luna position get to her. She had gained everyone's trust and everyone liked her. See if the alpha dies his luna takes his place until another blood line of alpha walks in their pack or the luna has a son to take over. Heir of the alpha he said smiling.
